***Your Last Pug in One Word- v2 Andropugs!***

Depressing. Clutched the last third of wave 5, until Ascendant bugged and insta-regened while camping at the edge of the arena. Everyone's screaming at me for being a scrub, while on my screen, every hit I land is instantly regenerating, and the Ascendant clearly isn't budging from his secure spot (no clear LOS except for stairs where I can't dodge the fireballs effectively). Finally give up and suicide, and on the way out, hear "you're the worst ****ing player I've ever seen."
On PC, no less.

Just did first Gold pug. Full extraction.

So I've been one-tricking the best-looking class from my new player and loyalty packs, the Turian Soldier, with by far my best weapon on him, the Viper. Spec'd for weapon damage and damage reduction basically, but no real fitness investment (...is it still called fitness?). I think my best score with it so far was around 22K. I can somewhat comfortably take the class to random silver without consumables, but I still need useful teammates. My Viper just reached X.

I was going to stop playing today after opening my first premium pack, but then I got the Vanquisher. I had noticed a few players getting seemingly higher damage output from it than I was getting with the Viper, and seeing as it turned out to be a sniper, I thought I should try it out. Brought it to silver with my Viper as my secondary weapon just in case, which is hilarious, and it turns out I needn't have bothered. The Vanquisher plays like a gold Viper, made silver almost feel like bronze. I played with Shady in that silver game, by the way. So I thought, does that make gold the new silver? With sniper amp II, disrupter ammo II, and a Charger X as my backup, here's the result of my first gold game:



As you can see, I happened into aditthh that game, who's on my friend's list, but I don't think we've played together in ME3 since friending, like, two years ago.

The game itself got messy. I felt I had to revive twice on wave 5. Wave 6 was devices, and I spent most of it shieldless, at 20% health. But I uploaded two or three devices. For the last one, the fiend was homing in on me, but someone got its attention last minute where it turned around, literally standing on top of me, and then died.

I don't really know what I'm doing or how I should be doing it other than the small bits I can transfer from ME3, but put a strong sniper in my hands... The way some players talk here and play in-game, you'd think they have it all figured out. I'm still playing reactionary, looking for hints as to how the levels and enemies should be played.

TheShadyEngineer doesn't seem to use their account here, and aditthh doesn't seem to have one here although I thought they had one in official BSN.

Apex.

Apex missions are the apex of player stupidity. They are the worst. I can play any Bronze or Silver match with no problems--great teamwork, capable folks, even the noobs there seem to have a clue. The moment I enter any MP Apex match with my "strike team," it is the worst experience ever.

Surprising?

Me and my bf were duoing Bronze hoping that people would eventually join in. They did... at Wave 7.

Funny

Hosted an Apex challenge, the one where if you went down you are down for the round. They thought I was hacking because they couldn't gel due to the APEX challenge and kept threatening to report me over the mic as they watched me solo most of the match.

Thankfully there's an option to mute people.

The game settings having voice on by default, which personally I think is pretty stupid. A lot of people are bound to have their mics on blast without their knowledge. I made that same oversight on my first MEAMP run several days ago and was absolutely mortified when one of the guys spoke up and said that my mic had been on the entire time. :gasp:  I didn't say anything embarrassing, mind, but still... my undignified yelps for help as I lagged around the map... eugh....

The most common key i press as i enter a lobby .... The amount of people whit open mic's is insane. The number of angry mothers i have heard screaming at their spawn is just funny.

Outside of that i must say ( excluding the few level 1, apex score 50 ) most people going for gold know what they are doing. I think i have failed maybe 3-4 gold missions whit full on PUG's so far. So this is quite nice.

Glitched.

Dropped into a game in progress on wave 6 with just the Ascendant left. There is no orb, and there's only two of us left. I got synced intentionally so I could leech the xp and credits. Shrug.

silver game v remnants, everything was going great until wave 6, haven't had a single revive all game then suddenly everything pops right on top of the team, 1 guy goes down no option ot revive or use res packs, few seconds later same thing happens to next team member, and so it went through the next half a minute until the entire team is gone.....

All that and still nobody talks.

the zalkin is total crud its worse than the striker

my last game finally got into a drack mission everything is going great tiny bit laggy but nothing special get to wave 7 with 10 seconds left on the clock and ctd.....

that's the 15th time ive tried that mission and every time the same frigging thing

side note, I noticed that trying that mission seriously heats up my pc to the point everything starts overheating, is it possible that the game or the recently released drivers are faulty ? and that's why it ctd's ?
