Jealous. I've always wanted to try exactly what you did there. Wasn't me. My friend and his team did that with two Marks of Death when he and his team had around 50 stats. I managed to hit 100k with my team, but I was the only Archer and had stats around 100.

Cover won't help, you will still take damage. As I said, you must be as far as possible, or as close as possible, to avoid damage and not to be pulled. You shouldn't have many problems on Routine, maybe even Threatening, even with basic stats with team mates who know what to do. I played a little on ps4, and I have an understanding of what characters should do, but I think the pugs I am with are not committed to team play. I was in matches with 2 keepers and an one of the Saarebas and received almost zero barriers throughout the whole entire match, despite being the only tank. I was able to keep guard for quite a while, but it gets overwhelming quick, and I dont have the skills yet to solo Im used to bad teamwork from mass effect, but ill just keep working on making myself better and thus being able to share that with pugs The main thing is to either stay way, way, way away from the dragon, or stay right up on him. I've learned that running right up to his side is your best option, for every dragon. Stay at his side, right in the middle. If you are at its backside, it will kick you, and if you get too far up on the front quarter, it will still try to swipe at you. It's bite is worse than it's kick, so stay away from the front of it. Just attack at its side, slightly underneath it. I encourage the use of the trebuchets, just don't strike a final blow while it's in the air. 7 turns will load it properly. If you attempt to load the trebuchet on the left when you enter the map, you will be hit by the dragon almost every time. It also seems that if you go to fire one later on, the dragonlings will always go after you, so be careful. What I usually do is run up to the dragon and start attacking. I always stay at its side when possible. There are also 4 spots the dragon will land at random. Once all 4 have been landed at, the sequence will repeat at the same spots it landed at previously.

<snip> You can use the trebuchet or firing on the Dargon when his healtbar is high, but later let him landing on the ground. Btw, i am sure you dont have the Challenge with killing 5000 big Creatures. The small Dragons are very good to finish this Challenge. So no Need now to kill the Dragon very fast. <snip> This challenge can take forever as there is commonly only one big creature per run through of Elven, Orlesian or Tevinter maps, and if you play in a group this lowers your chance to be the lucky killer. (If you are playing with friends who have completed the challenge you could take up to 5000 games to get one miserable prestige point. If not, then it could be much worse. ) The advice quoted will help you get through it much faster. In fact, once you can solo Routine FC consistently, you can speed things up a lot. Most importantly you need to go invisible and set up a private game. Well, you want all those lovely dragonlings for yourself don't you, so why share them with friends or a pug, or even worse have some hero turn the dragon into kebab style slices in the twinkling of an eye. My preference is to use Belinda or Korbin and equip the Estwatch Guard or Magehunter shield, if you have them. You will do a lot of chopping, so they give lots of guard, which keeps you out of trouble. (Speaking of which, I still have not got the Magehunter shield and I now salvage Crescent swords if I get one. This RNG system is fixed against me! ) So, having slaughtered everything on FC zones 1 - 4, you are now standing mano a dragono with next day's lunch for the Inquisition. In the fight do the opposite of the standard procedure for killing dragons quickly. Try to ensure that damage is not concentrated on one area, spread it about. When the dragon takes off, enjoy slaughtering those pretty dragonlings. When it returns, try to encourage it to take off without getting too much damage. (I tended to give it a couple of whacks with a sword then run around like a headless chicken for a while to see if it would take to the air, rinse and repeat until it gets bored and leaves.) I got the impression while doing this harvesting that later groups of dragonlings were larger hence making the process more efficient. If you have read through all this, you should now be as bored as the dragon and ready for take-off.
