Its not really just "one guy" though. He brings other Spectres with him. Who are a lot more useful than a bunch of hanar that really never contributed much in the series in general. I'm not talking about war assets or usefulness. I'm talking about lives saved. One guy - Bau - vs an entire planet of hanar and drell. It's not a tough call, imo. I complete Bau's mission. |

Haven't made much progress, as usual I'm getting sidetracked playing with mods, but I did save Grissom Academy. I settled on the Asari commando outfit. Though with my new favorite hair mod, she doesn't look much like the character that romanced Miranda in ME2. |

Not only that but, as happened in my last trilogy run, even though I didn't romance Kaidan in ME1, he was the one on the Normandy at the beginning of ME2. NOT Liara.  Liara is the normal default if you don't romance either Ashley or Kaidan. |

but seeing as my Shepard always romances Kaidan, well...he's my default character on the Normandy in ME2 regardless

so, got to see the council today...Saphira was...pissed to say the least she was formal at first, but then Saren started badmouthing both her and Anderson, and well...let's just say she lost it after that Saphira: *to Saren* I'll kill you next time we meet! 
also picked up the Keeper scanning quest today, and got some more codex entries I love reading the codex entries, I just wish the primary ones weren't voiced  I can read them just fine thank you, no need to narrate them
wasn't able to do much else today (been feeling very tired lately, went to see a doctor about it today, and I have to call them tomorrow about the rest  ) |

I would guess that would be something having to do with the fact I play on the ps3. Maybe that part didn't import correctly? Don't know. |

Nothing like a nice family reunion.
I expected better from the Geth AND Asari commandos.
Mind you, i expected a lot better from an Asari matriarch. That was what, 3 seconds? Mind you, given her whole hammy acting it was merciful to end it so quickly. Funny how Liara is just all 'meh, you shot my mother to death in front of me' at that moment. They didn't really think that one through. At least it is recognised on the Normandy.
This bit reminded me of Resident Evil 2 a lot. I do like what the did here.
Rachni saved. Why, I hear you ask. Well, I'll tell you. I like to kill Wrex on Virmire normally, to save him from the indignity of his complete character change in ME3. However, this time I intend for him to die on the citadel as I have never done that, and so I need the War Assets. Meta gaming at its finest. Also it makes no bloody difference story wise anyway, does it lazy Bioware.

Shep finally had enough of her stalker.
Next stop is tidying up some UNC and Cerberus (seriously Bioware, what were you thinking for ME2), clearing the way for Feros, then BdtS, Virmire and finally Ios. That's the plan. I'm sure Lara is going to interrupt though in a few Days.

Did some more quests today, became a Spectre recruited Wrex, Garrus and Tali spoke with Admiral Kohaku and we'll be investigating his missing team for him
Let's see, Fist is dead -courtesy of Wrex-, Garrus was shocked at this, but Saphira didn't seem to take it to badly (Saphira: he had it coming (renegade +2) the warehouse workers were spared
we'll be picking up the evidence for Emily Wong tomorrow
we helped Samesh Bhatia get the body of his wife back from Mister Bosker (Saphira: bunch of political crap  ) Spoke with Jahleed and agreed to talk to Chorban for him, which we did and the Salarian told us about what was really going on we'll be solving that mess tomorrow, I've already scanned 20 of the 21 Keepers anyway
Kaidan found some strange transmission in Flux, which we'll be investigating at some point as well
we met with our 'dear friend' Conrad Verner and gave him an autograph
and lastly we dealt with some 'big stupid jellyfish' who was preaching about the Enkindlers (Protheans) on the Citadel (we kindly convinced him to leave in peace)
Saphira: don't spew religious mumbo jumbo at me either, I hate that kind of thing Ashley: ...*inches away* 
aside from that we met some more people, gathered some licenses for the requisitions officer (I've got 3 of them so far),
and had Kaidan make an adorable fool of himself in front of Saphira  Ashley: maybe they just don't like humans Saphira: what's not to like? We've got oceans, beautiful women, this emotion called love...according to the old vids we've got everything they want Kaidan: well, when you put it like that there's no reason they wouldn't like you... *sudden realization followed by internal screaming* err, I meant..us...humans...ma'am  Ashley: uhm...maybe you should take more shore leave Lt? Saphira: I appreciate the sentiment Alenko, but we're kinda on duty atm. Kaidan: uhm...aye aye ma'am *starts liking her even more*
so yeah, tomorrow we'll be doing some more stuff on the Citadel, and then leave to go flying around the galaxy to do some more stuff and maybe recruit Liara...if I'm not to tired 
(still very tired, but I spoke to my doctor today...and we're making progress so that's always good. If anyone wants details feel free to send me a message)

Warning, lots of pics from ME1: James Shepard, Earthborn, War Hero, Soldier Landed on Eden Prime to investigate some craziness. Those floating things, Jenkins called them "Gas Bags" was crazy enough. Found a pile of charred bodies. Creepy. Alas, Jenkins was soon to join them. Next thing, I found Ashley Williams, fighting off geth. She'd lost her entire unit but managed to survive. She was one hell of a marine. We saw the geth do this to some poor colonist but thought it was a strange way to kill him. Then we found out why when we saw them turned into these monsters. Then SAM recre--er, we conjectured that this is probably what happened. Saw this monstrosity fly into the sky. Some colonists would later recount hearing a strange buzzing in their heads while it was on Eden Prime. This incident was not recreated by SAM. Kaidan got a little too close to the Prothean Beacon. I had to knock out of the way to save him, which unfortunately grabbed hold of me (like Saren) and gave me visions. Then the thing exploded. Woke up 18000 hours later to this handsome man standing nearby. Anderson stopped in for some explanations. I recounted my visions as best I could. I assured Kaidan that he wasn't responsible for what went down on EP. I told Dr. Chakwas what I needed. Welcomed Ashley to the crew. She was going to be an asset. Too bad Jenkins had to die for her to get a place here. |

Arrival! First look at the Citadel on approach. Biggest asshole on the Citadel. I can't tell the animals from the al--oh, wait, that's someone else's line. Who the heck is this guy? He won't talk to me. Where's the bug spray? Art appreciation plus tingling teeth. This guy is pissed that he can't continue to investigate a mass murderer. These assholes put Udina to shame. I notice that the Council has not forgotten who saved their collective asses over 2000 years ago. Humans stole this guy's wife for SCIENCE. Fan #1 and Fan #2 The greatest reporter who actually cares about the common people. Enkindle this! Krogan recruitment. This guy contradicts himself in two sentences. He got what was coming to him. Tried to save her but she had everything well in hand. I'm going to like her. First human Spectre. The Council and Saren can suck it. His people went missing and only I can find them. anyways, yesterday I recruited Liara...yay I head canon that my Shep is friendly to her at first, but grows to dislike her over time (just like I did), but just keeps pretending to like her for appearance's sake that and once Liara becomes the Shadow Broker...yeah...that's one hell of an occupation (who in their right minds thought it was a good idea to give the Shepard stalker all the resources and spying equipment in the known galaxy?)
today we went to some uncharted worlds, found Admiral Kahoku's squad...and a giant worm...that spit venom at us I hate those things (though I love Kalros, she's epic xD)
we also rescued Chairman Burnes from some desperate L2 biotics who desired reparations for their failing implants only to be ignored by goddamn politics with help from Kaidan we talked them down without getting anyone hurt (err...aside from the ones that were already attacking us)
Ashley: I hate politics Saphira: you and me both 
we also got contacted by someone called Nassana Dantius, who wants us to come talk to her on the Citadel about some delicate matters For now we're just scanning some planets, and we already found some really interesting stuff
thinking on doing Pinnacle station tomorrow, I've never played that dlc before...so it should be fun (though I've heard it's not all that interesting or exciting) |
