thinking on doing Pinnacle station tomorrow, I've never played that dlc before...so it should be fun (though I've heard it's not all that interesting or exciting)  Pinnacle Station is best played on lower difficulties so you can get through it quickly. It can get tedious quickly. The best part of Pinnacle Station is the reward for getting all the top scores and beating the special mission: access to the best store in the game. Pinnacle Station lets you compete in four match types: - Time Trial (beat all the enemies as fast as possible) - Hunt (Kill as many enemies as you can before time runs out; killing enemies quickly increases the time) - Capture (capture all the points as fast as possible) - Survival (survive as long as you can until you lose all your health) You have to get the top scores in 2 of each type (total of 8), which unlocks 1 more of each type (total of 4 more), which then unlocks a special mission. Beat the special mission to get access to the new store. The special mission can be beaten only once. Pinnacle Station is best played mid-to-late game when you have better equipment and stats. Recommend late game for higher difficulties. Capture is ridiculously easy on any difficulty. Survival is generally very easy on any difficulty. Time Trial takes practice to learn where the spawns are located and how they work. Hunt missions are erratic. They can be very easy one time, then almost impossible the next. Hunt on Volcanic is near impossible on Insanity (I have only seen someone do it once; I have never managed it). For Capture, take any squadmates you want. For Survival, take Wrex and Ashley (your tanks). For Time Trial, take Liara and Kaiden for crowd control. You need crowd control (biotics, Neural shock) to keep enemies from moving around too much. You want enemies bunched up so you can kill them. For Hunt,... I guess Garrus, Ashley, or Wrex. You want your best killers to help kill things quickly. |

One thing to add to RedCaeser's info: don't leave the station before getting top spot in all the trials unless you want to do some of them again. One thing to add to RedCaeser's info: don't leave the station before getting top spot in all the trials unless you want to do some of them again. and just one more thing. given on option do abuse map boundaries - falling off/crossing the boundaries is an instadeath event for AI. so, to reiterate RedCaesar's point, biotics are op and are useful. very useful. much throw/lift/singularity as you can. i found it adept/liara/kaidan combo were unstopppable, the easiest to kncok those challenges off imo edit: also, shotguns  and what was that ragdollling ammo, sledgehammer (??) or some such... anything and everything to send them over the boundaries anyway |

I see I have my work cut out for me, I'm terrible at timed missions  there's this one quest in ME1 (it's called Signal tracking), and it requires you to disarm some type of bomb with a puzzle (same as the one with the mining laser), and I'm terrible at it...so I tend to wait 'till late game and just shoot the power junction |

so today we went to Astroid X57 to Bring down the Sky after some trials we rescued the hostages and let Balak go (Saphira: *making a note to deal with that guy later*) afterwards we went back to the Citadel to do some shopping and helping some more people out when we arrived we were greeted by Rear Admiral Mikhailovic, who wished to inspect the Normandy...Saphira let him do so, and he'd make a non negative report, so that's good ^^ (I kind of waited to go back to the Citadel until I have 9 points in Charm so that I could get all the dialogue options) then we went downstairs and had an interview with some lady with a very long name...she was...interesting Saphira: *resisting urge to hit her* (urge resisted)
we helped some other people as well, such as Doctor Michel...Rita and her Sister (I love how with Chellick there are parts of his voice that crack to reveal the voice actor (Gideon Emery) ) we also met with Finch who apparently was someone from Saphira's past back on Earth Saphira: can't say I ever met this bloke...I do remember a guy called Finnigan... Garrus: ...Finnigan? Saphira: I think that was his name...could've been Florius for all I know *shrugs* anyways, that guy wanted us to get the Turians to release some xenophobe from prison, when Saphira tipped of the guards Finch attempted to blackmail us Finch: I'm gonna tell everyone you used to be part of our xenophobic gang! Saphira: ...seriously? half my crew is alien...  Finch: still going to tell everyone! And they'll believe me!
Saphira: ...*takes out gun and shoots him* nah...I don't think you will  Turian guard: impressive, nice work Spectre
we tracked down the signal and were able to disarm it in time (3000+ credits) afterwards we went to meet with the Asari consort...Kaidan got a bit jealous of her...but in the end we agreed to help her out
we also met with Helena Blake and agreed to help her with taking down some criminals (got some renegade points for that)
also told Admiral Kohaku about his missing marines...he said he'd tell the families and lastly we agreed to help Emily Wong one more time still need to talk to Nassana Dantius, going to do that now
we also did some more random stuff today and yesterday...still haven't gotten around to playing Pinnacle Station, but seeing as it doesn't have any real impact on the rest of the series I might skip it |

I actually landed on Feros and did a load there before Lara turned up.

The turian would let this woman in, because she didn't have a grenade launcher. I didn't have one either, but I did have a Krogan. I have a Shepard ready to start the trilogy (Brandi Shepard, Vanguard with a tech bonus power), but I just don't feel like playing it right now.
I am working on a new thread for the Classes and Builds forum, but I need some more time to mull it over.

So...today we killed some Rachni After that we went to Virmire...well, that was...interesting Saphira managed to talk down Wrex and destroy the facility (Rana Thanoptis was left alive) however, she also lost a dear friend...RIP Gunnery Chief Ashley Williams, you will be remembered 
Afterwards...the Council went all crazy and decided to ground us we decided to let Anderson hack Udina's computer in order to get us out (God I love that scene, brings a smile to my face  )
As we were on route to Ilos, Kaidan came to Saphira's cabin to spend the night together
In the end we saved the Council and Saphira made Anderson the Councilor Gotta love the relieved look on Kaidan's face mixed with Anderson's look of 'God she did it' Look at that smug smile, lucky lady and yes, I was able to get my end team in the same armors, this is one of the few armors that I like from ME1
(sadly the other ones I like are cut content, and I can't get them to spawn even with the console commands, ah well)
and lastly...I love the ending image Oh and, my end level was 50 with just one run, so that's pretty good ^^
Tomorrow I think I'll be starting with ME 2 |

Well... I was in the Citadel,hearing some Krogan talk about killing Turians. Turns out Garrus got quite afraid of them and decided to Batman his way out of the place.

Riight.. Remember those conversation variations things I was doing? I'm still on it, finishing up the Citadel and getting the stores discounts on all places with all dialogue.
Also, funny thing. I'm holding off some conversations with squadmates until after their loyalty mission is done, so there are a few different things. For example, when Shepard talks about Jack's attitude, she replies with "You helped me with that base, but don't lecture me."
And when finished, she never said "So fuck you, and thanks for asking", saying just "Thank you" instead.
