Assault Armor is better regardless of weapon choice. I also said in my post, it is playstyle dependent. If you are far enough from the enemies pulse is almost useless and with sniper or AR you are; also Power Armor breaks far less in that case because enemies hit you less. Finished few missions today without even needed to reactivate it, so it is much better to have more power damage that 50% shield on break. Back on topic. Finished Horizon, picked up rest of the squadmates and took down Shadowbroker so I can pick up weapon upgrades. Thinking to finish Overlord and Collector Ship tomorrow.

Since I haven't played my Shepard since Citadel released, I had to look on my ps3 to get the face code to see how different the looks would be on the remaster. Not good. I downloaded a mod with a face code that closely matches. With some tweaks, I got it right. I'm glad for the trilogy save editor. Interesting how the looks were ok from ME1 to ME2, but were different for ME3. So I tweaked the looks for that game. I did a test run, at least up to the point the SR2 shows up. Ashley has a new outfit. After creating your Shepard, a screen pops up, according to the mods installed, to choose outfits and hairstyles for characters in the game. The player can also choose to enable if a character show's up or not. There are other options the player can choose. In this case, I chose to have Vega show up with Ashley as Shepard jumps onto the SR2. Unfortunately, I wasn't quick enough to get a better screenshot. I hope to start my trilogy playthrough later today. Why haven't I played my Shepard in a long time? Simple. The playthrough is specific to that Shepard only. I can't do the same playthrough with the remaster because of ems. This trilogy run will be very different from the one I did long ago

Finished Overlord and Collector ship, everything went smooth. Wrecked everything with Miranda and Jacob in overlord; never took them for this mission and wanted to see how it goes. Brought Samara and Thane on Collector ship, picked up AR this time. Now to clear loyalty missions and then N7 missions before I go to derelict Reaper.

Finished Jacob's, Miranda's, Jack's and Mordin's missions today. Everything went smoot, even smoother that I remember. Got Jacob's father arrested and Saved the data; gave Miranda a compliment, but rejected relationship; Jack doesn't believe me that I won't bang her either.

In the Legendary Edition, I thought they removed the ability to get in the tank in the Noveria garage. Is one of the mods you installed add that back in?

Karen Shepard (ME2 LE): 1. Went to the derelict Reaper and recovered the Reaper IFF. Gave the bot to Cerberus 2. Jacob's loyalty mission. Left his dad in the hell he created. 3. Jack's loyalty mission. Convinced Jack to shoot Aresh. 4. Took the squad out for drinks. While Shepard was away, the Collector's abducted the crew. 5. Mordin's loyalty mission. Mordin shot Maelon, then destroyed the data. 6. Garrus's loyalty mission. Garrus shot Harkin in the leg, then shot Sidonis in the head. 7. Miranda's loyalty mission. Let Miranda shoot Niket. Following Miranda's lead, left before Oriana saw her. 8. Zaeed's loyalty mission. Let the workers die to kill Vido.
I am thinking I should have left Zaeed's mission until after the suicide mission, then kill him, but whatever. What's done is done.
TO DO: Tali's loyalty mission, then decide who I want to live/die, then suicide mission, then Arrival.

Weee, I'm back into the trilogy since last night! After some consideration, I was more in favour now to see the last major romance instead of playing my canon Femshep, so meet Rorik Shepard He's a Spacer/War Hero and a Shotgun Engineer, and I couldn't be more excited! In Multiplayer, I sometimes picked the Katana for Human Engineer and loved it, so here we go His skill set will thus be the same from ME2 on, Overload, Incinerate and Drone, my first Engie played this way in Singleplayer. I might pop in a few story-ish bits here and there, let's see! Back story Rorik grew up on spaceships almost all his life. He has made a lot of acquaintances throughout this time, but never had any real friends due to the constant moving of his parents. He and his parents had a good relationship, even though they rarely had time for him. Despite all that, his dad was still his closest friend and a huge inspiration in his life, as he was kind, funny, mischievous at times, but brave and strong in the face of difficult situations, and making the right choices when it mattered. Rorik grew up reading lots of books owned or gifted by his dad, loving stories about the middle ages most, which was no doubt the influence of his father, passionate about these times himself with a soft spot for Viking lore. He picked a norse name for his only son when his wife agreed on it. When Rorik was 15 his dad was killed in an accident, protecting his son, which put a strain on the relationship with his mother afterwards. Rorik blamed himself for his dad's death, and despite him and his mother working hard to be a family again, it has never been the same. He signed up with the Alliance to honour his dad, thinking of him throughout everything. Since he joined the military, Rorik hardened up considerably; he is fierce and brash but also a kind, brave man, never hesitating to risk his own life for one of his comrades. He likes gathering people around him, sharing stories and having the occasional drink. He is generally an open-minded person and loyal to those who show the same to him. He's also a massive flirt, but except for a few flings he never had a serious relationship so far. - Went to Eden Prime to secure a beacon. Picked up Ashley along the way and received some goodies from the locals through friendly persuasion. Saved the colony from being blown up, found the beacon, but it got destroyed after Shepard hurled Ashley out of way's harm and accessed it himself, receiving a vision in the process. Welcomed Ashley to the team after waking up again on the Normandy. - Headed to the Citadel to tell the Council that turian Spectre Saren went rogue, but without any real evidence to bring forward, Shepard admitted defeat and didn't bother trying to convince them of anything anymore at the end. Rorik came to a halt next to Ashley. The Citadel and its fleet lay before them in all their glory. He had spent his whole life in space and had seen quite a few extraordinary things, but this was a marvel. Rorik couldn't wait to explore the place and learn more about it. Even with Eden Prime freshly in his mind, he was still excited for what was to come...Some first pics:

Finished ME2 last night. Died only once through Derelict Reaper, Legion's loyalty mission, suicide mission and Arrival due to camera bug. Everyone survived, as usual; Tali was tech expert, Garrus was leader, Mordin escorted the crew and Samara was biotic expert. Took Miranda and Jacob to fight Reaper baby as always for RP reasons. Hanged up on Illusive Man and shot Kenson.

Karen Shepard (Sentinel, ME2 LE): 1. Went to Tali's trial. Shot some geth, then yelled at the admirals until they found Tali innocent. 2. Launched the suicide mission. Highlights: - Kasumi died in the engine room (no shield upgrade)
- Garrus got crushed by debris (no weapon upgrade)
- All crew dead (waited too long), but Chakwas survived (sent Tali as an escort)
- Destroyed the base. The remaining squad held the line.
3. Rescued Dr. Kenson, then threw an asteroid into a relay whch destroyed a small system. Only Batarians died, so no loss to the galaxy. 4. Went shopping to buy armor in case I do NG+ (so I do not have to buy them again). Karen is now ready for ME3.

- Called Harkin a pig. Then followed the leads to Garrus and after roughing up Fist the team ended up with Tali, who was able to present the needed evidence of Saren's treason to the Council. Shepard was made a Spectre to go after him. - Explored the Citadel and helped various people; released the body of Samesh's wife, delivered the OSD to Emily Wong, helped the consort, got Jenna out of Chora's Den, scanned all Keepers for Chorban, convinced Jahleed and Chorban to work together again and killed an AI. Picked up Wrex by the elevator. - Touched down on Trebin and found a couple of ExoGeni scientists at an excavation site. Shot all of them deader than dead. - Killed off one of the crime bosses for Helena Blake. - Rescued Chairman Burns from a bunch of biotic terrorists by convincing them to let him go. Pics The Shotgun packs a punch with the Engineer! I never would have thought it's so much fun I decided to run with Wrex and Ashley this time since I don't think I had this team before, and it fits with this Shepard. Off to Therum next to pick up someone blue.

Didn't have this scene for AGES. On PS4, whenever I proceeded to the workers after taking care of everyone in Chora's Den, the fight started automatically. I am now on PS5 and I will have to see in the next run if I can trigger this scene from now on I have played original ME1 on Xbox and the legendary edition on PC. For me, I always get that conversation when I have enough Paragon or Renegade points to persuade them to leave. If I do not have enough points, then the fight starts automatically.

For me, I always get that conversation when I have enough Paragon or Renegade points to persuade them to leave. If I do not have enough points, then the fight starts automatically. That... makes so much sense! I mean, I can't believe I didn't have enough Paragon or Renegade points with any of my last couple Shepards, but it would explain a lot, haha. The things I still learn about this game.
Today I also progressed some more with Rorik:
- Picked up a Prothean expert on Therum, killing many geth along the way. Bonded some more with Ashley over family stories afterwards and checked up on Liara and the rest of the crew. - Dealt with the second crime boss, then killed a biotic in self-defense and turned off life support for her brain-dead boyfriend on a ship in a neighbouring system. - Was sent to Luna and dealt with a rogue VI, picked Operative. - Afterwards, responded to a distress call on Metgos, which turned out to be a geth trap. You could say for them it was a... death trap (ba-dum-tss). Being in the vicinity, Shepard and his team touched down on Tuntau, finding a grateful Wrex's family armor within a pirate base in the process. - Back on the Citadel, Shepard got surprised by a snap inspection, was tasked to rescue Nassana Dentius's sister, posed for Conrad, scared off a blackmailer on behalf of Dr. Michel, helped a pregnant woman and her brother-in-law and went to the tower afterwards to settle a few other affairs. Brought both Garoth and Admiral Kahoku news that their missing folks are unfortunately dead, helped out Emily Wong again and gave a pretty good interview to Khalisah Al-Jilani before returning to the Normandy. The four of them raced out of the collapsing ruins, making it just in time. Rorik's lungs burned as he took a moment to catch his breath, the planet's insane heat finally having taken its toll. With one look back he thought about everything lost in there, but now there was nothing to be done about it anyway. At least it wasn't a complete loss. He got Dr. T'Soni out alive, who very much piqued his interest and whether she knew more about her mother than she claimed.Pics The Shotgun is so OP I can't believe it at times! I killed the second crime boss with only two shots, these guys usually give me more trouble I absolutely love it so far, and despite my low-ass armor (I like the Onyx on Rorik, but it’s only Lv VI and of course Light ) I can at times be fairly aggressive (when I don't chicken out, haha). But I also haven't put any points yet into Pistols to get to Shield Boost... Priorities, eh.

For me, I always get that conversation when I have enough Paragon or Renegade points to persuade them to leave. If I do not have enough points, then the fight starts automatically. I got it with 3 or 4 points put into paragon.
