Adam "Tango" Shepard, ME3, non-imported file (still following protocol of no interrupts, neutral dialogue when possible, and otherwise upper right dialogue) Went to Thessia. Took down both harvesters on insanity and even got away without using any medi-gel! Javik and Liara behaved themselves and both stayed alive for the full fight for a change. Explored T-GES Mineral Works. Liara and James weren't so lucky there. Shepard took out both of them and a banshee with one shot from the Blackstar... serves them right for not going where they were told. So, Shepard decided to fight off 3 or 4 marauders on his own while the drone finished making the repair. (he's can be so mean to his squad). EMS is now at 2,878.

Ali Shepard:
1. Followed up on Hackett's request and went to a Sirta Foundation research base that had been attacked by biotic terrorists. The terrorists had drugged the scientists so I had to be careful to only kill the terrorists (which is very difficult when your biotic and tech talents have such wide reach). Luckily, I managed to take all the terrorists down without any civilian casualties.
(In another timeline, I may have killed one or two civilians because of Singularity and Overload)
2. Landed on another planet. Nothing to do there except kill a couple of Thresher Maws.
3. I went to go look for those missing Exogeni scientists the news report mentioned. We found them in a mine... well, huskified versions of them anyway. Liara said she had heard about it before, 'machine cultists' she called them. She said an alien artifact caused them to turn themselves into husks. Dragons Teeth were all over the mine, but that artifact was nowhere to be found (probably a good thing). If these alien artifacts and links to machine cultists are true, along with the presence of the Dragon's Teeth, it seems the Geth have been active beyond the Persius Veil for longer than previously thought.

fra@fraggle Made it to Earth and the FOB. I forgot you can't actually SAVE at the FOB so I just closed out and will reload from the autosave next time. Actually, you can save after you reload once from the autosave. Sorry, didn't notice fraggle had already ninja'd me. I'm not sure which is dumber - that save is initially disabled or that it is re-enabled if you load the autosave.
Anyway - DONE!
Said good-bye to Garrus (the first time)
then took him with me on the final push so had to say good-bye to him again.
The fight to guard the tanks was as tough as I remember - I hid out behind the phone booth until the banshees showed up, then ran around like a kook until EDI signaled ready. Had to do each segment a few times because the Hydra kept misfiring and I kept getting stuck in stupid places out in the open.
Convinced TIM to shoot himself then chatted with Star Kid the Nonsensical. Shot the tube.
Flashbacks of Anderson, EDI, and Garrus
Kaidan told Joker to go; Sam was in the background
Joker, Garrus, and Javik came out of the Normandy on Planet X
A couple weird things in the last two missions. Yesterday at Cronos, after entering the chamber with the reaper, the only enemy to show up until I got to the top level was that first phantom. That's never happened even on easy mode - there's usually at least a few troopers and a nemesis or two lurking after the phantom is out of the way. There was another phantom on the top level, a nemesis, and a couple mooks. Really strange.
Today, going through No Man's Land - the part where you take out the Harvester and the first banshee - Garrus went missing. He was showing available on the HUD but I couldn't see him anywhere. When I hit "C" to regroup, only Javik would respond. Got inside the building and Garrus still didn't show up, then his picture went dull like he was down. I couldn't go back outside so I had to reload. No more weird stuff after that.
My war assets after Cronos were 8384 (no MP promotions included). EMS readiness was 100% thanks to Galaxy at War and playing offline to keep it that way.
Now what do I do??!

Karen Shepard, Soldier, ME2:
Illium (cont'd)
While hacking terminals to help Liara get intel she needed, Shepard, Jack and Tali ran into Shiala, who was still working on behalf of the Zhu's Hope colony. The colony was doing well, but complications from the Thorian enthralment remained. They'd signed a contract with Baria Frontiers for treatment, but the fine print gave the company the right to perform intrusive medical scans. Shiala was on Illium to try and renegotiate, and asked Shepard if she could assist. Shepard spoke to the Baria Frontiers representative, an asari named Erinya, and it quickly became clear that she blamed aliens for the death of her family and had no desire to help a bunch of human colonists. Her bond-mate had been in quarian space when the geth war broke out, and her daughters had worked on the Citadel and died during Sovereign's attack. Shepard believed she had met Erinya's daughters while investigating Saren, told her they'd seemed like wonderful people, and convinced her that they wouldn't want her to be doing this. Erinya agreed to amend the contract.
Shiala was grateful, while expressing frustration that old problems seemed to keep popping up. She was determined to help the colony however she could, though.
Shepard then played match-maker for an asari shop-owner and a love struck, poetry reciting krogan, before finishing the terminal hacking. She returned to Liara's office, and discovered that her friend was after the Shadow Broker, and that the data Shepard hacked led her closer to a Broker operative known only as “The Observer”. Liara had gotten into some sort of feud with the Shadow Broker while Shepard was in a coma, and whatever had gone down had resulted in the capture of Liara's friend. She was trying to get him back, and asked for Shepard's assistance once again, so the team went looking for more terminals to hack.
One of the terminals was in the nightclub Eternity, whose owner was outside complaining about some a-hole causing trouble. The trouble-maker turned out to be none other than Conrad Verner, dressed in fake N7 armour and acting “bad-ass”. Evidently, he'd learned to be “truly extreme” when Shepard shoved a gun in his face, although Shepard had no recollection of that.
Conrad claimed he was told by an “undercover cop” that Eternity was a front for red sand dealers, and that's why he was harassing them and trying to get the deed to the club. Shepard went and spoke to the “undercover cop” - a merchant trying to swindle the club from the owner - and tricked her into exposing her scam and getting herself arrested back at Eternity. Conrad was confused, so Shepard told him a little white lie and convinced him he'd helped foil a “terrorist” plot. He seemed happy, and went home, to the relief of pretty much everyone.
The bartender, Matriarch Aethyta, expressed her gratitude for getting rid of the trouble-maker, and they had a chat about her interesting life. Shepard then completed the final terminal hack, and reported in to Liara. The strange thing was, none of the five suspects they had fit the data Shepard was seeing. She informed Liara of this, and Liara deduced that she had been given false leads by her assistance Nyxeris. Apparently, the “Observer” was a lot closer to Liara then she thought.
By the time Shepard and her team returned to Liara's office, she'd already dealt with Nyxeris, and was now closer than ever to finding the Shadow Broker. They talked some more, and Liara confessed that she had been the one that gave Shepard to Cerberus, in hope that they could save her. The Shadow Broker was going to sell Shepard to the Collectors before Liara and Cerberus intervened. She felt guilt that Shepard had ended up in Cerberus' clutches, and that her friend had been captured (or maybe killed) by the Broker in the process. Shepard forgave her - despite everything, if the choice was between Cerberus or Collectors, it was no contest. Liara had done the right thing.
Shepard asked if Liara had any intel on Justicar Samara, then next of the dossiers provided by the Illusive Man, and Liara pointed them to Tracking Officer Dara. Shepard, Tali, and Jack headed for Dara's office to recruit their next colleague.

I am glad to see that this thread is back on these unofficial boards. With Andromeda coming out soon I had to go through the Shepard trilogy one more time. If I time it right I will be wrapping it up close to the time Andromeda comes out. Right now I am rolling a ruthless colonist renegade male Shepard as a soldier. In ME 1 I killed off the rachni, left Kaidan to die on Virmire, killed Wrex on Virmire, killed Balak, saved the Feros colony (it felt in character since my Shepard does have the colonist background)and let the council die. So far in ME 2 I killed Vido (or more accurately let Zaeed kill him), deleted the info in the graybox, and I just finished wrapping up the early recruitment missions and I am about to head to Horizon.

Lilith Shepard, infiltrator, ME3 ***** Administrative and recharge day on Normandy. Talked to my team and planned ahead. Liara came into my cabin with a project of hers - our own type of "beacon" for the next cycle, in case we fail to destroy reapers this cycle. It looks nice, but there's one thing that troubled me - she asked me how I'd like to be presented to the next generations. I don't even understand why she needed to put me in this project, but well, it's hers. Told her to present me exactly as I am with all my deeds, good or bad. Next day we went to investigate the rachni presence in the Ninmah Cluster, where the Aralakh krogan company was waiting for us. Turns out that this company, handpicked by Wrex, is led by Grunt. The same Grunt I took out of Okeer's tank and secured him a place in the Urdnot clan. Wrex could have told me this! We made our way through countless tunnels filled with these strange, reaper-modified rachni, to the nest. A rachni-queen like creature was the source of these hordes of rachni - the reapers created it and made it to breed more rachni. It begged us to free it, with a promise to support in the fight against reapers. I did not believe the last queen and for sure I was not to believe this... creature, so I let it rot, eaten by its own "children". Grunt helped us escape the tunnels and rachni. I felt bad leaving him there, surrounded by these monsters. But he survived. Of course. Hackett wanted me to investigate an Alliance communication hub on Ontarom, attacked by Cerberus. Saved one surviving civilian and took back the base for the Alliance. Quarians are ready to talk and will go to Far Rim to meet the admirals. Meantime, I shot bottles with Garrus on top of the Presidium. I'd like to believe I let him win, but to be sure, deep down inside I have the feeling he is a better sniper than me. The top of the Presidium was a good place for more romantic activities than shooting bottles, so...well, we couldn't miss this opportunity, especially after the 137 regulations broken to get up there. ****** Communication hub mission is the one I die most in this game. It is not difficult per se, but I don't pay attention, I usually forget about the phantom and the 3 or 4 nemesis in the last wave and I end dead in no time. And it appears Kaidan was trying to shoot Garrus. Not good, my Lilith needs to have a discussion with him

Today Karan put down a three headed dog and some Batarians. He sold the info on Cerberus to the Shady Broker, in the vain hope they might sell it on to some independent vigilantes who might pursue the fiends further. Also for credits. But the other thing crossed his mind. Briefly. He shot Balak, several times. While he was generally big on second chances and a touch idealistic, he hated batarians. Wasn't sure why at first, since he was Earthborn and a War Hero, but I figure he met some survivors of a batarian slave attack during one of his evenings out at Earth. Made a little promise in his mind of what to do if he met the scums. So while he could deal with Batarians in general, knowing that they were slavers just flicked that little red light in the back of his mind. And Ash and Kaidan didn't object. But I figure Kaidan filed a little something in the back of his mind, he would never use it, but he knew his commander wasn't the perfect paragon they showed in the vids. Also got the ally achievement for Ashley. Virmire is approaching. Wondering if I should leave her and let Kaidan's come naturally or use it as an excuse to create another male face for a later run. Or use one of the three faces I've already made. Decisions, decisions. Or maybe just a coin toss, that usually works.

Ali Shepard:
1. Finally had the time to go rescue Nassana's sister. She was being held prisoner at a pretty fortified merc base. Or at least, I thought she was being held prisoner. One of the mercs was an Asari, probably the toughest merc in the group because of her biotics. Turns out she was Nassana's sister. I had some strong words for Nassana when later; I don't like being lied to.
2. I found the ship belonging to Garoth's brother, but did find his brother. The ship had been attacked. I traced the attackers to a nearby planet. They had bunkered down in a well-protected building. When I did make it inside, they put up quite a fight. I found the brother's body in a room. No idea why they brought it down to the planet. I don't really care now that the pirates are dead. I informed Garoth of his brother's death. I hate giving bad news like that; it hurts every time.
Also, I ran into a Geth trap on the planet. I like robots right up until the moment they try to kill you.
3. I met Helena Blake at her compound. She said she was going to take her gang into less serious crimes. I told her to disband the gang instead. She agreed, but only on the condition that she go free. I did not agree to those terms, and she tried to "neutralize me" (her words). That went about as well as you would expect.

I thought this was strange as well, but I think the ship was damaged by the mercs and the crew used escape pods to land on the planet. They're the ones who set up the camp. I don't think it was a merc camp since the mercs had their base. Still doesn't explain why they dragged the guy's body all the way to their base though - unless the guy went there with the crazy idea of taking out the mercs on his own? Maybe figured he had nothing to lose at that point.

Jarec Shepard:
- Helped Liara become the new Shadow Broker. It involved killing mercs, killing a fellow Spectre and killing the old Shadow Broker. - Tracked down Sidonis for Garrus. Killed lots of mercs and crippled "Fade", a corrupt former C-Sec officer. Sidonis didn't make it. - Found Thane's son, Kolyat, on the Citadel. Got to beat the crap out of a thug politician. Saved Kolyat from going down the wrong path.

Tango Shepard finished ME3. After completing Leviathan, he headed to Sanctuary where, as expected, Miranda died, Shepard having taken no action (such as shooting Oriana in the knee. However, she was pretty much doomed from the start since a non-imported (default) new game does assume that she's not loyal. EMS after Horizon were at 3,266, so I opted to skip the Citadel DLC and installed the Extended Cut instead.
On Chronos, defeated Leng without using any interrupts.
On Earth, persons availabe to talk with were: James, Jacob, Steve, Primarch Victus, Garrus, Liara, Javik, Wreav, EDI and a Geth Prime. Surprising, Shepard was able to use the renegade dialogue options when talking with TIM and was able to shoot TIM before he could shoot Anderson.
Ultimately, opted for the "Destroy" ending and Shepard got his breath.
Conclusion, doing ME3 in this "neutral"/paragon manner without interupts does cost the player some war assets, but the "breath" ending is still achievable as long as the player has the Extended Cut, Leviathan, Omega and From Ashes DLCs and does not allow TIM to shoot Anderson.

Melody Shepard, Colonist/Sole Survivor/Infiltrator, ME1 Hardcore:
On the Citadel with Garrus and Liara:
Visited Flux. Liara found a hacked quasar machine from which someone was siphoning credits. Melody spoke with a waitress concerned for her sister Jenna, acting as an informant for C-Sec at Chora's Den. Mat with Garrus' old colleague Chellick about Jenna. She'd uncovered an illegal arms dealer. Melody agreed to pose as a buyer to get Chellick the evidence he needed to wrap up the investigation so Jenna would be out of danger. Spoke with Chorban, the keeper researcher, about an accusation made by his colleague Jahleed. Turns out that they were both in over their heads, working with stolen tech, though ultimately well-meaning. Melody would liked to have knocked their foolish heads together. Approached a man and a woman arguing in public, making a bit of a scene. They couldn't agree on whether the pregnant woman should subject her foetus to gene therapy. Melody declined to get involved in this very personal matter. Liara traced the credit-siphoning signal to a computer bank on the Presidium housing a hostile AI. Melody destroyed its power supply before it could self-destruct.
Scanned a load more keepers. Only one left to find...
Helped C-Sec Lt Girard with a teenage girl from Mindoir who had been enslaved by batarians for thirteen years. She'd got hold of a pistol and was threatening suicide. Melody approached her slowly and gently encouraged her to talk about her past as best she could. She spoke about her harrowing experiences in the third person, showing signs of Stockholm Syndrome and PTSD. Melody eventually managed to convinced her to take a sedative so she could be safely taken to hospital.
This is the first time I'd seen I Remember Me, never having played a Colonist Shepard before. Bravo, BioWare, that's some good writing. I of course took the Charm options where possible and the Paragon options where I didn't have enough points in Charm.
Right, I think we're done on the Citadel for now. UNC missions beckon...

Karan started the session with a proper PSA. Don't drink and drive kids, you'll hit the rocks, flip the Mako and drown in the ocean. One restart later and Karan pulled up at the Salarian base. Chitter chatter ensued. Another thing got added to the list of "Was that always there?" since I spotted the Normandy, hovering over some rocks in the background. Never seen it before. I think. Just like I never saw that forklift at the Cerberus scientist base in ME3. Also, realized that Kirrahe calls Rentola a he, so that threw my little fan theory that he was a lady. Which is sad, but I suppose I knew it already.
Anywhoos. Wrex triggered a conversation. He seemed to think this cure was the one which would save his people. Like, did he not read the script? Anyways, he then pulled a gun on Karan, thus became a loose cannon and had to be put down. Well Ashley did the honors, since Karan could not be bothered. Kaidan was hilariously shocked. Another note of doubts in his ledger. Karan, Kaidan and Garrus then stormed the base. Freed all the Salarians and while Karan did tell the Asari she deserved to die, she got a second chance if she could outrun the blast. Good times. Had a giggle over Sovereign speech which died out around the time I had to make the big choice.
Made the discovery that without Kaidan, the team hasn't got any biotics. Which is kind of bad, but manageable. Still not sure who to pick. Kaidan won the coin-toss, but I still want that Tali-Ash content in ME3. But can you argue with the coin-toss? Will have to sleep on it for now. Still, a fun little session.
Edit: Ended up loading up ME3 to party with Kim. Started boring but ended fun. Loud-Loud-Dancing btw. Anywhos new stuff seen: Garrus failing to maintain face as protective boyfriend (but he did not suggest Shepard should go out and hit on the Reapers, so that's something), triple push up contest in which Kaidan was a beast, Samantha hit on Jack and Grunt told me Salarians had wiggly arms. I never knew. Garrus was so excited getting his picture taken, he shimmied to the couch.
Probably going to shout at Leviathan next. Might edit the post with the following success or failure. But if I hit the water walk, I'll love it at least. (A minor edit: It was a roaring success. Kim must have used some super batteries or something because the power meter seemed to fill up instantly. Like damn. Water walk was super fun as well. Under the sea is as fantastic as Sebastian sang.) Ended up using the battery power to finish Kim's run. Quite liked Garrus pre-Cronos scene. Cronos itself was pretty easy, since Kim is good at breaking Cerberus troops. Also saw Legion's cameo for the first time. It was very disappointing. Kai Leng made up for it by making his fight last for one upbeat song.
Earth was bit more tricky. I liked Garrus FOB lines. The reaper forces were a bit difficult but with Lily Allen's help, Kim was able to shoot her way to the finish line. She then literally talked TIM to death and as he signed off, the email program made a little error noise. Which was a nice touch, I must say.
While Kim enjoyed the color green, she ended up picking her favorite shade of red. And now Joker, Garrus and Javik must repopulate the planet. So...good luck with that I suppose.

Started a NG+, not with Susan but one of my broSheps: Jake, War Hero, Spacer
He started out as a regular soldier in ME1, got rigged up into Vanguarding in ME2, and has settled into Infiltrating in ME3. I took Warp Ammo for bonus power, forgetting that he already has Cryo and Disruptor, so I'll probably change that later on. I'm playing on Normal this time so I don't really think it will matter gameplay-wise. I just like to do more stuff myself so maybe I'll take Inferno Grenades or something fun like that.
Didn't romance anyone in ME1 - technically. Ashley was left on Virmire.
Romanced Liara in ME2 - not quite sure how that happened since she's only there for like 3 seconds. Must have started something in LotSB?
But, Jake will be romancing Kaidan this time around, so hopefully Liara forgot about whatever it was that happened between them 6 months ago.
Just picked up the Mantis on Mars (it auto-upgraded to lvl 8) and made it to the building entrance. Will leave the "Cerberus convo" with Kaidan for tomorrow.

Today Nathan went to Illium and made Conrad cry, convinced an Asari to breakup with her Krogan boyfriend, reunited with Liara, helped Miranda make sure her sister was safe, and recruited a drell assassin for the team.

Karen Shepard, Soldier, ME2:
Illium - Recruit the Justicar
Acting on a tip from Liara, Shepard, Jack, and Tali spoke to Tracking Officer Dara at the Nos Astra transportation hub. She seemed a little agitated when Shepard asked where Justicar Samara was; evidently, asari Justicars were similar to Spectres in how they operated and the authority they had in asari space, and Samara's presence had many people in Nos Astra on edge. Dara said they could find Samara at the commercial spaceport, so Shepard and her team went to hail a cab. On the way to the taxi stand, they overheard an asari on a call, it sounded like she was scheming to take some cargo that didn't belong to her, and mentioned a crime scene and a Justicar. Evidently Samara had gotten mixed up in something.
When they arrived at the spaceport they talked to some of the merchants and workers to try and find out what was happening. Pitne For, a volus "business man", complained about the murder of his business partner by mercenaries, and was worried for his own life. The Justicar was investigating the crime scene for some reason, and Pitne For and others seemed just as wary of her as the mercs.
Shepard and her team spoke to Detective Anaya at the police station. She was investigating the murder, and confirmed that Samara was currently at the crime scene and they would be given access to go speak to her. She claimed to want Samara to leave her district, as the Justicar's presence seemed to be making her bosses nervous. However, the Justicar Code won't allow Samara to be detained, so any attempt to follow her orders would result in serious trouble for Anaya. Jack and Tali found Shepard's claim that Anaya shouldn't have to follow an order that would put her in danger amusing, given what they faced every day during their time with the commander.
At the entrance to the crime scene, Shepard found a shipping manifest that implied that goods were stolen from someone named Thax. Shepard thought that was the name mentioned by the asari near the taxi stand. So that was what it was about. Shepard forwarded the evidence to Thax.
They found Samara, who fought and killed two Eclipse mercs when they refused to give her some information she wanted. It didn't have anything to do with the hit on the volus, she was after a "dangerous fugitive" who had been had happened to have been harboured by the same Eclipse band that murdered Pitne For's partner. Anaya arrived, looking to take Samara in - her superiors couldn't be put off any longer, and Samara agreed to cooperate for one day if Shepard would get the name of the ship the fugitive left on from Eclipse. Then she would join Shepard's mission.
Shepard suspected she was being played somewhat by the two asari, and that, despite how strict and harsh this Justicar Code seemed, Anaya wasn't in any real danger from the Samara. The detective's superiors, however, might be a different story, as they seemed very anxious to prevent Samara from looking into Eclipse activities on Illium. It made no difference to Shepard, though - if Samara wanted her to fetch some intel to prevent Anaya getting caught between her and Eclipse, so be it. Cerberus would get their Justicar, Samara would her information, and Anaya would have fewer Eclipse problems. Everyone wins. Shepard got a pass-card for the Eclipse base from Pitne For, who also revealed that he had delivered a biotic-boosting chemical, Minigen X3, to Eclipse without telling them of it's toxic side affects. Probably why they wanted him dead.
Shepard, Jack, Tali, and Chatika vas Paus attacked the Eclipse base, taking down mercs, a few mechs and a gunship along the way, all while trying to avoid toxic clouds of Minigen X3. They encountered an Eclipse sister named Elnora who claimed to be a scared new recruit who only pretended to fight. Shepard didn't believe her, but when she wouldn't give the ship name that Samara's fugitive - who Elnora claimed was an "Ardat-Yakshi" - Shepard told her to get lost.
Deeper inside the base they found evidence of Pitne For's smuggling activities, as well as proof that Elnora was the one who had murdered Pitne For's partner. Jack said that they should have killed Elnora when they had her, but they weren't there to police a drug deal gone bad, and Shepard didn't kill people who weren't shooting at her first. Anaya would have to deal with it.
They found another of the volus that worked for Pitne, named Niftu Cal. He had been injected with Minigen X3 had was so delusional he thought of himself as a "biotic god". Shepard convinced him that taking a nap was a better idea for him than conquering the galaxy or fighting the leader of Eclipse (who was in the next room).
Shepard entered the office of Captain Wasea, the leader of the local Eclipse band, and defeated her and the remaining Eclipse sisters. They found a data-pad that revealed the name of the ship Samara was searching for - AML Demeter - and returned to the police station. Samara was impressed with their results, and pledged an oath to Shepard, so that for the duration of the mission she wouldn't be forced to choose between Shepard's orders and the Justicar Code. She had been working alone for centuries, and claimed to be looking forward to joining "a company of honourable heroes."
Shepard gave Anaya the evidence gathered on Pitne For and Elnora, and wished her well. Then the team returned to the Normandy with another new recruit.

Watched my Teenage daughter play through Virmire mission for the first time. Suggested she save before talking to Wrex. Daughter talked him down. Offered pros and cons while she agonized for ~10 minutes or so about whether to pick up Kaidan or Ash. Daughter chose Ash because she was with the Salarians, who she believed also need rescuing.
At the end had her reload to pre-Wrex conversation save, and walked her through to the "bad" outcome that sort of explains the Ashley-as-Space-Nazi memes she had been curious about.

Ali Shepard: 1. Visited five planets in the Armstrong Cluster to stop an impending Geth invasion. Not much of an invasion force if you ask me. I found some encrypted Geth data that looked useful.
2. I gave a copy of the Geth data to Tali. She felt it would make the perfect pilgrimage gift after she helps stop Saren.

Just Bring Down the Sky left, then Virmire > Ilos > Citadel.

Looks like I won't be getting any ME 2 in today. I am going to a movie in about an hour and I was too busy today drooling over the new Andromeda videos. The wait is killing me. Going to get back to Shepard's journey tomorrow though or as I now like to call the original games "Mass Effect Milky Way"

I was nice to both Liara and Kaidan on Mars, then broke up with Liara once back on the Normandy. Well, she did ask and give me an out..... Bought the whiskey for Kaidan for my next visit.
Just landed on Menae to go find a primarch.
