Alexis Shepard I guess I'd become complacent. Things went so well on Rannoch, maybe I thought the tides were turning. Perhaps they were, but not for the better as I'd hoped. We returned to the Citadel to meet with the Asari ambassador. She told me there might be something on Thessia that might help with the catalyst. It felt like we were on a streak. I stood by the commons before we left and had lunch with Ash. She talked about her dad a lot. It was nice to have a conversation about something unrelated to the war for once. It felt good. After that I spoke to Miranda in a private room. She asked for my Alliance access for whatever she's pursuing, which I granted, and then apologized for wanting to put a control chip in me when Cerberus brought me back. In light of our recent victories I was feeling generous so I let her off the hook. We were preparing to leave for Thessia when the shit hit the fan. Wrex cornered me in the docking bay with proof that I'd sabotaged the cure. I did everything I could to talk him down but he attacked. So I shot him. He left me no choice. By the time Bailey and his men came running in another friend was dead. I don't blame him. I'd be pissed too. Maybe I deserved the quick death he offered. Thessia was a disaster. We raced to the quote, unquote museum, fighting wave after wave of Reaper forces but it was all for naught. We encountered another Prothean VI, this one called Vendetta. Before we could do anything with it Kei Leng showed up. I spoke to The Illusive Man via hologram, trying to make him see reason, but he's clearly been indoctrinated. The assassin held us off long enough to take the VI and leave us to watch Thessia fall to the Reapers. Back aboard the Normandy, Samantha gave us a lead that points to Sanctuary on Horizon. The rest of the crew tried to make me feel better, tried to assure me it want my fault, but it was. If I had been faster or stronger... Joker made some offhand joke about the Asari wishing they had more commandos and fewer dancers and I snapped. He snapped back. Edi tried to lighten the mood but it was too late. I spoke to Garrus about a difficult decision he'd made, and he used it to draw out the truth about the cure, Mordin, and Wrex. Maybe I just felt a need to confess my sins. How much more can this war take away before I start to wonder why I'm fighting it? I had to break up a fight between Liara and Javik. She had just learned their most revered goddess was likely a Prothean and he was taunting her about it while she pleaded with him for answers. I made him apologize and she left. I found her in her quarters and tried to comfort her, but given our recent breakup I'm not sure how much it helped. I didn't ask for this. A couple of weeks ago I asked Admiral Hackett why it had to be me and he told me I was the one people would follow. I'm starting to wonder if I can live up to that.

John Shepard: - Joker picked up a distress call on Edolus. On investigation, I found a squad of dead marines and a living thresher maw - which I killed. The beacon was a lure to the maw nest. Someone is going to pay for that. - On Therum I encountered a lot of geth. A LOT OF GETH. Killed 'em all. Inside of a heavily protected Prothean dig site (whose tiles reminded Kaidan of a bathroom floor) was Liara T'Soni, the daughter of Matriarch Benezia. She was trapped and had been attacked by Saren's forces. I freed her, dispatched them, and she joined us on the Normandy. One more alien for Ash and Pressly to pout over. And trust me, they do. - Kaidan definitely flirted with me (thanks to rondeeno). I learned a lot about the asari. Wrex talked about a prior run-in with Saren. Ash told me how she's not really racist.

Flipped all the tables. There are no tables standing on their legs anymore. In reality I loaded up Janet and walked her through the Citadel grounding. She did okay I guess? Shoved a gun in Conrads face, shot Chorban, attempted to shoot Jahleed but couldn't (come on, I know he's in C-sec, but let me shoot the volus, please) anyways, got miffed and ended up forgetting to deal with him (oops), gave a drug addict some depressants and tossed shade at her mom's old buddy, disabled a crazy ai, shot a Krogan in the market place and told Saracino he'd get her vote even if she couldn't publicly endorse him (Tali and Wrex seemed fine with it, but I suppose they are used to hearing that she'd shoot them dead if she could and other more graphic things. Not really, so I'm a bit disappointed that there wasn't a "Really Shepard, you going there?". At least from Tali. Wrex was neutered with his family armor, such a shame.). Otherwise she was perfectly well behaved. For the Butcher of Torfan at least. Once she had freed herself from the Citadel, she visited the Pinnacle station for a while. Eventually she rage quit and took her frustration out on some pyjaks. And geth, thorian creepers, husks, mercenaries and Space cows. It's so satisfying to be able to stand in front of a Krogan and just pistol whip him for a while, knowing he can't even scratch you now. Anyways she also got paid for saving some nice Exo-geni scientists. Then she returned to the Pinnacle stations and kicked some serious butt. Is currently raging at the tropical Hunt, since it's the only thing barring her way from an apartment Hunt. TL:DR Messed around in ME1 with Janet, got the Quarian and Krogan accomplices achievement and really want to know if I can set a flag somewhere that the ME1 game is finished, so I can see if the face is still pretty in the next two games. TL:DR part 2. Turtles. It's what it all boils down to. EDIT achievement ~Calm down Janet achieved. Cozy place and something constructive to spend all her credits on. Just needs an interactive chair to get some nice shots of her lounging. (And if she had a special someone, they could lounge too . Do taxes and stuff.) But wait! there is more. She helped Helena Blake become the top dog of crime and killed Darius (was one dialog option away from letting him live, but then revealed that Hackett wasn't smoking anything that morning, so she decided to kill Darius and get more fun missions like this at a later date). Then it was off to the end game. It went smoothly and the council lucked out on the coin toss. Checked her imports and she's even more scary than she was before. :C It's mostly the eyes, they know and they transported into ME3 as well. :'C. But yeah, her face ports well between games, so she might not be ending her journey just yet.

John Shepard:
- On Earth's moon, Luna, I had to put down a VI that was acting suspiciously aggressive. I wonder if the geth are behind it. Can it be a coincidence that this thing goes crazy right after they show up? In any case, I was changed as a result. - Landed on Noveria. Hell of a welcome, even with my credentials. Benezia is here but Administrator Anoleis is playing hardball. I could shoot my way through but after destroying a Prothean ruin I'm trying not to completely piss off the people who gave me so much power. I made a deal with his secretary - an internal affairs investigator - that landed Anoleis in jail and got me the pass I needed. The garage was filled with geth that Benezia had smuggled in.

I've actually forgotten about this but Garrus completely befuddled me when Shep landed on Trebin and found reaper husks and the dragon teeth. He said he had seen it before and alluded it to machine cultists. Wuuuuuut???? Come again? You've seen it before? Where? When??? Of course, there's no chance to ask him. And Shep never said; oh wait, those metal toothpicks are very familiar. Where have I seen those before? Kaidan; You know, that planet where we were nearly ashed. I still remember when I first played this. I took it all in stride. Cultists? Ok, yeah. People with mad ideas then. Well, they dead now. And completely forgot about it. I just did that yesterday myself (or some planet like that). When I see Husks, I think Geth. Instead, they say Cerberus has been up to no good? I can't remember this one. Husk + dragon teeth + remark about Cerberus? I'll see if I hear that combo at other planets.

I always wondered why people didn't see Cerberus for what they were going into ME2 because it's clear that are bad people. Kaidan/Ashley's reaction alone is suggestive enough.

The Machine cultist line is for "The missing Survey team" (Trebin) while the Cerebus line is for "Colony of the Dead" (Chasca). You find the Cerberus connection for the later one on Feros I think. One of the consoles before you trip the big ships claws. Also think the computer near the end of the quest hints at the connection.

Just that they sent to colony some samples to test and that the samples were Dragon's teeth. My theory is that they found some that had been left behind and were testing how they might work. I don't think they were working with the Geth, more likely that they scavenged some tech where the Geth had struck, like Eden Prime for example. They seem to be adept at getting their paws on all sorts of horrors.

My Fem-Shep completed the Asteroid X57 DLC. After shutting down the torch engines that were moving the asteroid on a collision course with the Terra Nova colony, she opted to let the Batarian terrorist leader go in order to free the colonists working on the asteroid. She received as a gift, Colossus IX armor. (She was Level 49) Now on to Ilos!

rondeeno I've been a bit mod-happy since first playing Dragon Age Origins. This is my first PT with ME 1 and figured I should see what the developers intended. For the next PT, I would like to update the game as much as possible. Any must-have mod recommendations in addition to this one for ME 1? Also, I haven't culminated the romance yet. Is a nudity mod needed to avoid an "underwear" scene? I'd definitely recommend MEUITM if your computer can handle it. Faster Elevators and Quick Startup are also must-haves imo. And nope, there's no need for a nudity mod in ME1.

John Shepard:
- Once I reached Peak 15 I encountered bugs, small and large, that attacked. Liara, Kaidan and I all couldn't identify them. Had to repair the place before I could proceed. Dr. Olar told me they're called Rachni, the aliens who had invaded Council spaces millennia ago and led to the krogan being uplifted by the salarians to fight them. - A snarky asari scientist who had been "meditating" earlier (if that's how she is when meditating I'd hate to see her normally) attacked me when trying to formulate a cure for Rachni venom. She came with geth in tow. One of us walked out alive. - Fought with Benezia and her forces but then she broke off the attack. She said Saren had indoctrinated her, that her thoughts weren't her own. She was briefly free but knew she'd fall back under his control. She suggested the Sovereign, the ship, might be connected. She attacked one more time and then, free finally, refused medical attention so she could die free. Before dying, she told us the location of the lost Mu Relay, which is what Saren had been seeking. - Before leaving, the captured Rachni Queen spoke to me through a dying asari commando. She told me her children were corrupted which is why they were attacked. She was also only an egg during the Rachni Invasion so had nothing to do with it. I couldn't be responsible for genocide or blame her for the actions of others. I set her free. Then I initiated a neutron purge to destroy the hot labs and all the crazy Rachni. - The Council wasn't pleased by my decision with the Rachni Queen but they ultimately accepted it. - I think Ash has a thing for Kaidan. Competition.

Well Pamela Shepard became the first human spectre. It's funny a rule I have always made for myself is I don't equip any new armor on Shepard before being granted spectre status. Well this time while I was running around Eden Prime and the Citadel in my default onyx armor which has the N7 logo I found myself having a new appreciation for the whole N7 thing and playing as one. It's funny because MEA makes a big deal about N7s and you aren't even an N7 in MEA and in the trilogy where you actually play as one it is barely acknowledged until ME 3(outside of the N7 logo being marketed aggressively by bioware).

So it started. I am going to do six trilogy runs, each focused on each class (soldier, adept, engineer, sentinel, infiltrator, vanguard). I had this plan in stock for months and now that Andromeda proved to be a letdown (and I am going to wait for it to be patched) it seems like a good time to start.
I am going to start with the class I least liked in ME1 and 2 (but actually liked in ME3): Vanguard.
Meet Helena Shepard, a female redhead native of Earth with a troubled past that involved running around with street gangs, enlisting and being the sole survivor of a terrible ordeal.
The plan is to have her romance Liara over the whole trilogy. Kaidan will survive the Virmire mission with Ashley dying a little bit soon (after recruiting Liara and saving the Feros colony. Benezia will be the sub-boss prior to Saren in order to promote Liara in the story. I will collect the asari ancient texts in order to save the number one fan in the future. Bring down the sky will be completed (and it will be the only planet fully explored), but as far as my shepards are concerned, they have been hypnotized with the notion that a place called pinnacle station simply does not exist.
Aside from the material involving Kasumi and Zaed, the dlc content for ME2 will be done after the suicide mission. Arrival will be the penultimate mission, followed by the shadow broker chapters so that Liaras scene in the cabin will be the ending prior to collecting a few more updates (by visiting the brokers base on other dates) and reseting my powers.
Me3 will be played in the order that the missions become available. Javik will soon be recruited as he will be crucial because of his deep impact on Liara. The ME3 dlcs of Omega, Citadel and Leviathan will only be started after the virmire survivor is aboard and tali is stationed with Adams, Ken and Gabby.
As for the battles:
In ME1, Liara and Garrus will be the main companions. Save for some exceptional circumstances like handling husks, the strategy will be to have Garrus using snipers mostly, Liara with pistols and Helena with Shotguns. Helena will take the Nemesis route after the Moon mission. The bonus power will be singularity.
In ME2, Mordin and Kasumi will accompany Helena. Kasumi will be the first recruited, with Mordin following right after her. Incinerate/Neural shock and Kasumis bomb will help to cripple enemy lines so Helena can charge with relative safety and crush the enemies with her shotgun. Barrier will be the bonus power of choice.
In ME3 with so many opportunities for biotic explosions available, Liara will be a regular feature, paired with Javik. Reave as bonus power will complement the biotic arsenal.
Me1 will be hacked in the persuasion bar as well as gear and levels (I cant stand ME1 anymore by constantly raising characters by allocating points and altering gear), and also because the squad will be able to use powers more often. ME2 will have the reputation bar filled and mini-games hacked by a mod that auto-solves them in just a few seconds. ME3 will also have full reputation bar.
I am going to use this as a template of a worst case scenario. I tend to die a lot more with vanguards than any other class, specially in ME2. I usually play ME1 in a very intense manner, completing the game in about 3 days (one weekend) in less than 16 hours combined (around 5 hours per day). For some reason, whenever I play ME1, even when keeping close tabs on the progress with all the objectives on a personal file covering what needs to be done and in which order, I always have this strange urge to finish it as soon as possible. As for ME2 and ME3, I can easily spread each one of them over an entire week or even two weeks.
Lets see if I can do this planned collection of runs in less than 100 days, with each run lasting from 15 to 20 days. If memory servers, vanguard was the slowest (because I would die a lot in ME2 making me replay certain segments). Infiltrators and engineers took a little longer than the rest of the classes because using snipers I would try to line up the perfect shot from a distance, and while as engineer I would toy around with the enemy by using turrets and drones and advancing one step at the time while having fun. Biotic in ME2 was a little bit slow, but very fast in 3 thanks to the explosion system. Soldier and Sentinel were all consistently fast given their very aggressive posture, better defensive capabilities and damage.
Ive chosen Helena as a redhead for a reason. Her trilogy run will be very intense and explosive. I will attempt to complete it as fast as I can while doing all the missions (aside from pinnacle) and then using it as a template for the next five runs.

Went to Therum. Garrus vanished as I was scouting out geth-held gates. Shep (counts heads) : Where's spiny-head? Wrex : Timed out. Shep : What for? Wrex : Just timed out. Shep : Wtf? Garrus, get your ass back here!Rally, soldier! (silence) *hits rally icon* boop boop boop (no sign of Garrus) where the hell is he? I went looking around and he was standing behind some containers. Not the time to take a leak Garrus! Besides, isn't your undersuit supposed to take care of that problem? grrrr Annoyance disappeared after picking up a cute Asari.

I had something similar happen to me. I had Kaidan and Garrus with me on Therum. We reached the first geth base with the canons in front of it. I take the side path as suggested and stop after destroying that one canon. I get out and head into the base on foot. I realized at some point that Garrus wasn't with me. He was hanging out behind the Mako.

Just finished my first ME1 PT! My Paragon Fem-Shep got Saren to kill himself only to have to fight his undead robotic self as the final boss fight. Now to decide whether to move on to ME2 or do ME 1 again now that I know what I'm doing.

Found a bunch of old ME1 saves and spent the session browsing them. No idea who some of those people are and am quite sure two or three are faces from the save file site. But recognized a few old fellows I'm glad to have back. Also realized why I was so confused about Luke's face, since neither of the ME2 saves I had were his proper face. So maybe he'll get a proper go. Also trying to decide if some of those other mooks should get a chance to finish their stories. But had a pretty good time pondering what I was thinking back then. ~ Edit. Also found out how to insert new characters into the main loading thing. Always thought you had to get rid of the profile, but when you click Switch Careers there is an All Careers button at the top and you can locate the save by name. So if anyone is as dense as me and also likes switching out saves, that's how you do it. And it's also really nice, since it locates all the saves with the same name after you load one save, so the next time you can just pick the Shepard as normal. So that was nice too.

John Shepard:
- Had a chat with Liara. She came onto me even after saying she thought there was something between Kaidan and I - which I confirmed. I told her "let's be friends". - I wanted to get to know Joker a little. He took it to mean I thought he was unqualified because he has brittle bone disease. I didn't even know but whatever. I know he's a great pilot. - Xawin: killed a thresher maw. Sprung a geth trap but defeated them. In a pirate base, found the body of Captain Willem of the MSV Majesty (which was abandoned just outside of Xawin's orbit). - Trebin: killed a thresher maw. An ExoGeni survey team found alien tech. What we saw were dragon's teeth and a lot of husks. Terrible fate for those people. Also found some light human Colossus armor. Fits just right. Turned off a weird beacon that was causing GPS satellites to crash into the planet. - The MSV Ontario was taken over by biotics with L2 implants - the kind that seriously screw over people who have them. They took a guy hostage when he refused to give them reparations. I talked them down and Chairman Burns promised to give the reparations bill another look. Kaidan's presence helped a lot here since he's also an L2. Since Burns claimed not to realize how desperate they were I let him know that meant he wasn't doing his job. - Aboard the MSV Worthington an insane biotic killed the entire crew just the keep a brain dead man she loved on life support. I had to put her down and shut of the life support. - Metgos: The geth used another beacon to draw people do it. Not sure why they're setting all these traps. - Tuntau: Found a mercenary base that contained armor that belonged to Wrex's grandfather. There was also a pyramid(!) with an asari corpse nearby. Don't know if these pyramids are asari in origin and what that means about humanity if true. Pinnacle Station was nearby in the system but I didn't have time for war games. - Hackett told me about a crashed probe on Agebinium sent out 30 years ago that had a nuke attached to it. To avoid censure by the Council, I'm to disarm it. However, it's deep in a mine which suggests this is a trap. A pirate named Elanos Haliat from the Terminus Systems didn't like that the Alliance pissed in their cheerios. Boo hoo. Disarmed the bomb and put Haliat down for good. - Returned to the Citadel and accosted by Admiral Mikhailovich. I think he forgets that I'm no longer in his chain of command. He didn't get his way. No inspection of my ship. Then an interview with Khalisah al-Julani. - An idiot named Finch from the Red Suns tried to blackmail me since I used to run with them as a kid. Hard to blackmail someone who honestly doesn't give a shit about what you have to say. - Helped Chellix and Jenna with an illegal mod. Convinced Septimus to stop slandering the Consort. Returned Serviceman Bhatia's body to her husband.

I decided to do a second ME1 PT, this time as a Vanguard. I installed both MEUITM and rondeeno's mod so that my Fem-Shep could romance Ashley. I also made the ill-fated mistake of upping the difficulty from normal to veteran. Ouch! I play the DA games on nightmare without problems. In ME on veteran, I'm getting annihilated!
So far, after the Eden Prime mission, I did some quests in the Citadel, then some space side quests (the pirates made me walk the plank a couple of times), and rescued Liara. So far, no real flirting with Ashley. (I hope that doesn't mean I botched the installation of the mod.)

Found the dirty secret of Nasanna Dantius. I always refused her payment but decided to go for the paragon option. Exclusive picks on asari tech, etc? Still doesn't sit right with me Found the missing freighter captain and told his bro straight up what happened to him. Never saw the point of lying. Found Kohuku's missing marines, told him about it and received a message from him. Read all the stuff and details of every scanned planet since I've mostly forgotten most of them. Galaxy travel is short and to the point; and I don't mind the catapault cutscene of the Relay jump. Boom! System jumping is fast and easy. I prefer this. Up to this day, I'm still fascinated by the Relays. There's untapped potential to these marvelous traveling devices and there're dormant relays not discovered or scientifically examined to see what they're capable of. Just as the Alpha Relay could be adjusted to link with 16 other relays and straight to the Citadel. Anyway, stopping this PT for a while. Going to play the remastered Full Throttle recently released.

Laura Shepard, Colonist, Sole Survivor Shepard arrived on the Citadel to help a salarian Spectre track some suspicious activity, when she noticed Steve watching ships at the dock. They had a talk, and she convinced him to put a picture of his husband on the memorial wall. She rushed to meet with Bau, and was pleasantly surprised to see Kasumi materialize out of fucking nowhere. I guess that's a little more subtle than expecting Shepard to talk to an advertisement in public. The big stupid jellyfish is always watching. Zymandis attempts to screw over the hanar homeworld. Kasumi stops the upload, but is "killed" when the console explodes. Shepard teases her a bit when Bau leaves, convinced that the thief is dead. Kasumi complains about Shepard "pulling everyone into the war" (I think it's the reapers doing that, Kasumi), but agrees to lend some of her expertise in exchange for getting to steal shit. Shepard goes to the cafe for a much-needed espresso, and accidentally meets Liara's father. Who is actually kind of an ass. She refuses to talk to her daughter. Instead, Shepard convinces Liara to go talk to her instead. Liara, being a not-totally-awful Shadow Broker, already knew who her father was, and that she was spying on her. (These asari pronouns are confusing the shit out of me.) Shepard, having decided that espresso just isn't strong enough, heads to Purgatory to get shitfaced. She wakes up sometime later in Aria's booth. Aria almost smiles fondly. Next time, Shepard gets pissed off at politicians!
