Sounds awesome! also who would u want as your composer? Id want hans zimmer or inon zur One of these three. Motoi Sakuraba: He's got a long-running discography that includes Dark Souls, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Valkyrie Profile and a healthy list of Nintendo titles. I'm a sucker for epic-sized sweeping orchestrals, and he's excellent at that. Toby Fox: Toby's composition has the timeless quality of Koji Kondo's work and similarly-styled music; The melodies are extremely catchy, and he builds layers into the music that keep it from ever getting old( Death By Glamour is probably my favorite example). He's also notorious for his abnormal use of leitmotifs that subtly expand, contract, and reverse musical tunes that connect to virtually every song in the soundtrack. While most OSTs tend to stick with a particular type of music based on its setting, Undertale is all over the place in all the right ways. His music is Doglike, and I wouldn't mind seeing a non-retro piece from him. Runner-Ups: Nobuo Uematsu: Description Not Required. I loved the undertale track! Really upbeat, reminds me of retro nintendo games.

Compact, fast-paced and with no fillers and time sinks/borefest of inventory management and crafting - more like Jade Empire or mass effect than DA World, races and lore that bear absolutely no resemblance to Tolkien or medieval Western Europe ever, and no snow. Bright colours, less pastels. Something looking like Burman golden temples... Jade Empire only populated and playable by non-humans. Actually, would not mind humans being a non-playable race. Maybe demonic, elemental and celestial derived races. Artwork that is stylized enough to have the otherworldly feel to it rather than trying to replicate real stuff in grand resolution. blade and Soul Streamlined combat and classes, with really great and awesome spell effects. Mass effect MP and BnS. No anime though, no lolis, no bathing suits. Really cool period outfits, that look gorgeous and exotic. No wings. Mounts and fliers would be cool though.Character customization similar to SWTOR or othe MMOs would be nice. Character stories similar to ME2. Strange weapons like in SWTOR or Torment. Adventure, adventure and adventure, fast paced fun dialogues, full voicing, like in Jade Empire and Mass Effect 2, pretty cutscenes like in BnS. Good old good&evil, bright narrative, no shades of gray and film grain noir anything. Great cool characters. Yes, I love it when fantasy games don't immediately jump on the whole "lets take some of toilken's lore and tweak it a bit" concept, but have a more original take on the races and lore (although I dont mind games having toilken-esque lore) so I really love your idea of humans and other races, sounds like something i definitely would wanna play! But also why no snow? and who would you want doing the soundtrack? No snow is a personal preference, as I like bright sunshine settings with jungles, ruins, beaches, flowers... so Eastern Asia, Arabia, Africa, Mediterranean, South America - anything but Northern and Central Europe. I live in a city with 6 months of winter, and where we saw snow every month of the year. I hate snow. I've also only travelled through Europe and only a bit of South America, so I want something totally different in gaming. I am not interested in a new take on dwarves and elves, like in DA. I wish they had Quanari from the start and a couple of other, different races instead of elves and dwarves. I am completely indifferent to soundtracks, as long as it is not modern rock music or maudlin pop songs like in eastern MMOs . Any instrumental would do, SWTOR and icewind dales were fine. Bio usually do good with music. And I normally turn it down anyway, so... whatever other people want, so long there is a slider.

I was a bit ashamed to admit it haha It's because he usually uses avatar of pretty girls, so it made me doubt. Oh well lol. And btw cool thread

League of Legend is your best choice. Look no further. LoL is the definition of an ideal fantasy game. Lets start off with some sexy-ass sick Graphics the game has. It lets you run this shit on any potato, ever been blessed by Jesus? this feels alike. as for characters, you'll find a shitful of champions of all kinds: unbalanced broken motherfuckers who can take out the whole enemy team just with a single click and piss all over their dead bodies, melees, ranged, mages, skinny, thicc, shorties, men, women, transgenders, drag queens, the whole freak fest is in here.
Interesting storytelling. The game puts you in the dangerous world where a group of autistic summoners gathers together to defeat the evil team of enemy autistic summoners, they will spew a shit ton bag of toxicity and memes in the chat to let your spirit down. But your not that easy to give up just like that, right? The game also contains well-to-fuck made side quests where you hiding your ass in a bushes waiting for the right moment to jump out and gank your enemy like surprise motherfucker or fuck-up and get yourself and your teammie killed by making a stupid mistake and get fuck-flamed by both teams. Want some rpg mechanics? you fucking got here a massive cock-shitting skill tree and even 2 bonus spells, how fucking cool is that?
Open world as big as skyrim? Well, you got a three maps to choose from. A three big full of flora and fauna maps that make you feel like ur goddamned Alice in some motherfucking wonderland. But this land is without any stupid rabbits who used to put their fluffy fucking cocks in the wrong hole and weirdos wearing top hats and drinking tea every fucking time like its a goddamn whiskey
Character creation. Ok this one is fairly replaced with a shitload of skins that you can either win or spent some cash on. The golden rule of League of Legends is you may be terribly bad at this game but you just MUST get all the skins just to show off how cool you are.
Romance and character mechanics: Regarding romance you can change the camera view or some shit to be able to spot and enjoy your champions body parts, dont forget to put some sexy skin on your character and yknow just...please yourself...ok this is weird but trust me people do that kinda shit.
Boss fights. Well there is a huge-ass Baron Nashor also knows as 'The cock-slapper' who cant be taken down without your sorry-ass teammates. And guess what you even have a respawning dragons and other neutral monsters such as bonobo apes with a big boosted shlongers all over the jungle. I guarantee you gonna feel like a true hero like what was that skyrim's dude name..whatever, like our saviour pres. Obama fighting your way through all these fantasy cock sucking creatures.
the combat of dragons dogma, black desert and a bit of inquisition... shit, really? You got a 6 fucking keys on your cumjizzing keyboard to enjoy your game experience. 6 keys! Its like 1 key more than someshit ME3MP has. What else do you fuckin need? But lets be serious here, you gotta use some strategy, think your next move through like should you step forward and poke your enemy with your dick or step back hiding behind your tower making your enemy think that youre nothing but a shitlicking f@ggot or even getting back to your fucking homebase and take a little rest like a trash whore after a long fcuking night. Dont tell me you didnt hook up to this game reading this loads of toxic shit. You think you have what it takes to start that journey? I bet my fucking dick that you dont.

My ideal fantasy game would probably be far too expensive for any developer to produce. But what I'd really dig would be some kind of noir-inspired game set in some kind of magic-laden analogue of the roaring 20's, complete with a vast underworld populated by lots of entertaining colorful characters, with a fair dose of lightheartedness to contrast with its darker undertones. Oh and you know this shit would have its share of romance, because yes.

Ive been playing fantasy rpgs lately and its really got me thinking, which I thought would be a good idea for a fun topic. What would be your perfect fantasy game? for this gaming generation at least. It could be a mix of other games or just a whole new game. It doesn't have to be an rpg but just your perfect fantasy game. I would really like to see other people opinions on this. For me personally, i would want a mix of other fantasy games mechanics mixed in a blender to make one game with: Graphics, character and enviorment designs of the witcher 3 Interesting storytelling, side quests, and rpg mechanics of dragon age orgins and witcher 3 Open world as big as skyrim Character creation to be like a mix of black desert online, dragons dogma and a bit of inquistion Romance and character mechanics like dragon age orgins mostly also but with a bit of 2 and 3 and maybe a little of skyrim in there too Boss fights like the zelda series And the combat of dragons dogma, black desert and a bit of inquisition (and a tactics menu like DA2) Give me all of that and that would be the perfect fanatasy rpg for me! I would like to see an rpg that has some parts of Skyrim like as you said the open world of Skyrim and probably more and some parts of Inquisition like the romance options. And some parts of The Witcher 3 so in a way i can relate with you. I do not like boss fights they will not be in my fantasy game. And i also would like to see some parts of Tomb Raider or Uncharted maybe some long quests that have some "tomb raider" elements in it. I think that's about it there is probably more that i can come up with but i think this game will put a smile on my face if it is done right but it's my fantasy game so it is! done right haha.

It would be nice if it had: story as good as witcher 3, modable like skyrim, with combat system like chivalry medieval warfare but improved, characters like from mass effect, right music to it like they did it in doom. also good physics engine, graphics that are well polished, no annoying little bugs, possible fun multiplayer (or maybe have a game that allows you to play multiplayer with mains story or solo) Oh and it cant have too many fantasy creatures, it needs to have a right niche.
But that is really asking for like a perfect game, and i never expect something like this to come out.

It must be so fun being a gamer chick but honestly i dont get all that fantasy hype. like do people actually enjoy magic spelling and dragon slaying? On one hand I don't like the swords and bows and the other trappings of the Tolkien's spin-offs, but I notice that when I move to the settings that are supposed to be Sci-fi, I like the flashy spells, cool armor sets and lightsabers in any other form, as well as magic guns. I guess, what I feel is exemplified by that joke on a cyber-bow by one of the companies in the item description. "It's futuristic, so we put neon on it. But it's still a bow, stupid." I guess, what catches my fancy is slightly more removed from just a small alteration to Tolkien, but not removed enough to enjoy a hard, realistic grimy game that's all in the present, or amazes with an accurate science and plausible scenarios. For the sake of having one hell of a time, and gamegasming over grand biotic or tech abilities or magic spells, I am happy to suspend my disbelief. And for the sake of not being "tricked" by the game and hear the virtual tee-her of the writers, I'd rather do 2d morality. All and all, yeah, I just truly enjoy playing a cool hero I made to look gorgeous in awesome looking clothes with powarzzzzz and a magic gun/sword/lightening, against an awesome backdrop, and hugely titanic characters, and all of it making my imagination explode into a fountain of omigod, omigod... and add a stirring soundtrack, I suppose.... And don't do much work while at it. And, yeah, I like playing with other people if they are nice, aka they don't spout profanities and make things unpleasant. I'm happy to wipe and lose as long as everyone is civil and having a good time. I am old enough to realize that like with everything, there is a curve of ability, and 10% of gamers are exceptionally good & will always succeed, so there is no point for the rest of us to play a blame game when we predictably do not.

I guess as a cyberpunk junkie i just got a problem diving into fantasy settings. Lemme take the game Shadowrun as example, its univese built on the mixing of sci-fi and fantasy worlds. This is ridiculous. Its like 2 completely different worlds. Its just a chaos. I cant stand all those shamans and spell casters so i always taking gunners. To me fantasy world is somewhat kinda fairy tale. And i cant help but thinking its so goddamn unrealistic. The reason i stopped watching game of throne is they put so much magic into it. I dont believe that people who have such a poor technology knowledge able to get into someones mind and control it and etc. So yea i guess that said, I cant play a game/watch a movie/read a book without feeling (lose myself) in its atmosphere even if it has a mindblowing story and characters.

My favorite fantasy game:
* Take Icewind Dale 1 and Icewind Dale 2 and fuse them together
* Inject Dragon Age Origins character depth & voice acting
* Update the graphics with the Pillars of Eternity engine
* Use the Pillars of Eternity rules settings and HUD
* Add a ton of story DLC's
* Top it off with Baldur's Gate 2-style side quests
Actually I'm happy such game has not been made or announced yet, it would give me a heart attack fore sure. No way I could survive feelings of joy of this magnitude unscathed.

Well, I've read GoT, and I've liked it because the books at the time had very subtle magics. I suspect it's exaggerated in the tv series. I have no quarrel with guns next to magic and bows, because for many centuries firearms actually were not superior to the low tech missiles. Or at least that's what I read. And by late, I mean as late as the late 19th century. So it gives you a very long period where indeed everything goes, particularly if you place a lot of constraints, rather then just give into the game mechanics that demands very fast, immediate and abundant use of your chosen pew pew method. Or at least I imagine it does, because the moment I tasted it, I could not go back to the turn-based games. To a degree, a mix of firearms and magic does not bother me as much as the fantasy trope of a female archer does. One of the settings I would not mind is were I'd see early firearms, alchemy, astrology, rapiers and flashy outfits replacing armor, maybe up to the point of Arcanum done in gorgeous graphics.

I Loled so much reading this whole thing! I mean I heard of league of legends, didn't look like something id be interested in but you may have changed my mind lol As a girl you'll easily find alot of white knights who gladly carry you through 'elo hell' ... It must be so fun being a gamer chick but honestly i dont get all that fantasy hype. like do people actually enjoy magic spelling and dragon slaying? Yes its fun! I personally love fantasy/adventure games, its probably because im a huge nerd though . I grew up watching and reading things like harry potter, lotr, chronicles of narnia etc so I guess thats why im naturally attracted to those types of settings. Plus my older brother was a huge zelda fan and I would enjoy watching him play it all the time when I was a kid so that could be another reason. But I love many different genres, I love scifi/cyberpunk settings as well.

Cool! Also Im curious, how come you don't like boss fights? Their one of my favorite parts of fantasy games.

Witcher 3 with character customization, it's not too much to ask right?

It would be nice if it had: story as good as witcher 3, modable like skyrim, with combat system like chivalry medieval warfare but improved, characters like from mass effect, right music to it like they did it in doom. also good physics engine, graphics that are well polished, no annoying little bugs, possible fun multiplayer (or maybe have a game that allows you to play multiplayer with mains story or solo) Oh and it cant have too many fantasy creatures, it needs to have a right niche. But that is really asking for like a perfect game, and i never expect something like this to come out. Thats fine, I don't expect my perfect game to ever come out either at least not anytime soon in this gaming generation. It could probably happen though, but sometime in the really far future like in my great great grandkids generation or something lol. it's just fun to think about and hear other peoples opinions.

I mean... if we're talking a game that caters to exactly what I want (regardless if it's actually possible to do)... here goes:
- I basically want a Skyrim-like open world game with Bioware's deep meaningful romances, friendships, and rivalries. - I want unique races, awesome dungeon crawling, puzzle solving, and a wide variety of quests. - I want a world where magic is a thing, in some kind of way. Preferably in a way where I can BE a mage (because I love mages). - I want an amazing CC creator where I literally CAN make any face/body I want. - I want a variety of armor types so I can look amazing and be well protected when I'm out adventuring. - I want the ability to change the color of my armor. (its the little things) - I want the ability for mods because encouraging fan creativity is incredibly important. - I want to be able to build my character's home and decorate it with stuff I gather in-game. - I want every new character I create to have a different experience in the game depending on how I develop my char. - I want beautiful music created by Jeremy Soule. - I want a main story arc, but I also want a side story arc that is different depending on the class or background you choose. - I want a world that is absolutely gorgeous. I don't care if it's the plains, the jungle, the forest, the desert or whatever... I want it beautiful.
I'm sure I can think of more things but this is what I got so far.
