Hmm, I've just played it. I felt that the game's quality overall was very even, without much highs and lows. I'd say I have liked the Blackwood Marsh just a little bit more than the other areas, with Velanna's story coming next. I have liked the Keep the least, and the rest is in between. Overall, by the end of the story, I was not that fond of the Mother vs Architect and the subplot felt really forced in terms of the attempted switcheroo with the treatment of Darkspawn all through the Origins as a regular mass of faceless evil enemies.

I think that DAA is very mediocre,but I would say that Amaranthine city is the best part of that expansion.

Wending Wood, since it starts the plot proper (meeting the Architect). Was forced to start with it anyway, since DA:A was so bugged when released that starting with WW was the only way to avoid companion reputation issues. I didn`t knew that back then (played DA:A soon after it was released) but luckily I started with WW. AAAAnd experienced the beauty of being robbed by my Warden`s best gear... Still, being the first step in the investigation, having that "detective" part (the clues about the darkspawn unsettling deception) AND meeting the Architect wins the contest for me.

I probably am not the best person to poll because although I really like DAO, I don't care for Awakening nearly as much. Ignoring the bugs, Wending Wood and the Silverite Mine would get my nod. Blackmwood Marsh and Fade second.

I liked the Blackwood the most I think; suitably spooky. I also enjoyed the arrival when you have to rush to the keep and help repel the darkspawn.
