The way he walks right up to Ryder, almost touching noses with no regards for personal space makes me think he's the curious type who will be fascinated by the Pathfinder.

I have to admit, guys, I very much disliked Garrus, so I'm hoping Jaal is completely different from him. I like this idea about his culture being very respectful of Nature, almost Nature-worshipping (without being tribal; that is, with them still being a technologically advanced species; perhaps they emphasize renewable energy and working with instead of against Nature).

I am hoping he is a strong but thoughtful leader (not THE leader, but someone in a position of authority), perhaps a bit of a veteran. I don't know why but I get the sense from his expression that he has a sense of humor. I'm not crazy about the little visor over his right eye; it IS very Garrus-like. But if he's a sniper and different from Garrus personality-wise, I'll be very happy.

(I don't hate Garrus, and "dislike" was a strong word, but I never regretted that he wasn't an option for male Shep, let's put it that way.)

I'm sure this oh-so important science will be the subject of many fanfics and fanart a few months from now. I know this fandom. At least I take solace in that we've probably seen the worst it can get.....right?

I have no idea haha, I need to see more of Jaal so I can draw more *u* I have the collectors edition art book on pre-order so I hope there's some fun early designs of him in there. The ones from the trilogy are A+ hilarious

Thanks for posting that.  I like his voice very much!  Bonus if they altered it in some way so it's unique to the species.

It's funny because when I saw him in the trailer I pictured a voice almost exactly like that before I even saw the actor's name listed or heard him.

Ugh, twitter stated they may not reveal all romance options prior to release. So he may be an option or not. If he is we may not know his orientation until we try to romance him.
