Jaal Ama Darav (Official Thread)

Since this was lost many posts ago, for new Jaalmancers, here's ways to romance Jaal so each playthrough is new and exciting!

For Jaal to send you the "dearest" email, which will lead to him asking to be with you later:

1. You can choose all 3 Friendship tones (first convo on the Tempest, convo after you save the Moshae and convo on Aya near the HQ).
2. 2 Friendship tones and a Heart
3. 1 Friendship tone and 2 Hearts
4. 3 Hearts

Hearts that advance the romance are:

1. Asking if he's interested in you after his Allia convo
2. Making gifts scene
3. Worrying about his injury

Hearts that don't advance the relationship but are fun:

1. Liam/Jaal moment with armor
2. Akksul vidcall

If you want, you can also use the Heart when not in a relationship after you discover the Angara origins too, and as long as you don't visit his family, you can put off making it official until the time you choose. Same with the sex scene. The sex scene is recommended before the final battle though for the epilogue convo, which is priceless!

You also need to be in a relationship with Jaal for the movie night scene and the hamster scene to have added moments, and you need the "Dearest" email for Jaal to confess he wanted to take you to the forge on Havarl under better circumstances. It's hard to hear this comment since sometimes the other squadmate will cut him off, so wait for the forge banter with the other sqaudmate to end, then check out the view before you meet his siblings. It's worth it if you can get all these moments in your playthrough 'cause this guy is romantic and you don't want to miss any of it if you can help it!

I don't think we get the Dearest email any more .  I have't received it (believe me, I checked!) and I've already had the waterfall scene.

Brand new character and brand new run.  So I believe Scott/Jaal mancers didn't get it.  

I didn't get that email for my Sara or my Scott, so now I can't tell if it's a bug or just for scott/Jaal.

I didn't get it for Scott and a lot of player's have said they didn't get it for him either.  I'm hoping it's just a bug for Scott/Jaal then and not taken out completely, it wouldn't make sense for them to just take it out. 

Soooo hard not to flirt with Reyes.
