I never really understood the intensity of the Jaal ardor. Not when his first images were released and not when I met him in game. His first joke rubbed me wrong and then his mood swings put me off.

Now I'm jumping between a few different playthroughs, and in one of them I'm giving Jaal a try.

He still seems mood swingy, partially due to the way the game registers the flirtation and reacts to it. He verbally gives this very practical sounding list of reasons he's interested, and it happens to be romantic in this very frank, open sort of way.

Then he sends this email that could have given Byron's sentimentality a run for it's money.

They are allowed to express sexual interest in men, and have a history with men before the male PC decides to flirt with them. They don't need to constantly be talking about women (Bull) or suddenly not have a boyfriend if you're a woman (Anders).

My exceptions are about at the level of big rigs for anything big about this game.

I'm wondering what they can even do to fix the CC like they said they would, considering I feel like taking apart and putting back together something like that is a rather unstable process. Maybe like... more presets or something. Wider range of skin color sliders. Maybe a few extra sliders. More ugly hair colors? Maybe get that sweet curly undercut that rando npc had.

I'm not even touching the M/M situation, before the game was released I was convinced Peebee was going to be the only straight Asari since all we knew about her was that she didn't care for Asari culture so my expectations are they make the M/M situation worse somehow. Like they add flirt options with Scott and Jaal and Jaal looks straight into the camera at the player and says I Am Heterosexual in a Microsoft^tm Sam voice.

LMAO WTF PICKLE
