I have a feeling I will! Oh, I didn't know he had that option! That's awesome. I liked that with Cullen as well. Honestly, repeatable kisses/cuddling would be an awesome addition to all romances, and a fairly cheap resource-investment. Things like that can add so much. And considering the fact that Suvi doesn't get a lot of physical contact (no hugs, sadly), some clothes-on cuddling on a bed or couch would be nice.

For some reason, though I remember that conversation vaguely, I don't remember being able to say "man/woman". Huh. But yeah, not great options for a bisexual...

And no, I'm not necessarily saying they did it for homophobic reasons (censoring), but rather because it hides the fact that there isn't actually any kissing animation happening, like in Cora's scene. Not that that obvious prioritization of effort and resources is really any better...

Well, so far I've seen modders let us use default Scott/Sara face textures (as well as all other preset face textures) on any preset, which includes eyebrows. That's a basic complexion editor, right there. They've also given us more skin tones. Bioware are such liars, saying they were limited by the face-scan tech they used, ugh. Not that it helps me, I'm not on PC.

Adding more hair colour options would be ridiculously easy as well. Seriously, no natural red hair after all these years? Can't even use Suvi's colour. And why do most colours look like terrible dye-jobs who haven't touched up in months? Even the blondes have brown hair at the roots.

Hell, just the fact that we don't even know if patches will make the CC as good as it was in previous games shows how awful the situation is

I still find it extremely sad that Bioware ok'd Hainly in her launch state. She was obviously put in as a token character. And they fixed it immediately, to cover themselves. Well hey, Bioware, guess what? If you actually bothered to do research like Patrick Weekes did (or just ask for his advice), you wouldn't have had to waste your time like that It's the same as the romance situation. If they just did their job well, and fairly, they wouldn't get criticism. You made your own demons, Bioware.

It wouldn't be ridiculous at all to let us. In Dragon Age, we can talk about our character's religious views quite often, for instance. There's even an instance in ME:A (talking to Vederia) of that. Why not orientation?

It's something I've thought about too. I can see it in Dragon Age, but it is odd that people don't seem to use any terminology in Mass Effect, for sure. We'd still use terms for describing things, even if there was no prejudice. Hell, all the more reason to use them if there's no negative connotation. "Gay", "bi", and "straight" are all one-syllable words for crying outloud, it's impossible to get simpler than that for ease-of-use in conversations!

I don't think it makes much sense that characters still dance around these things to some degree in ME. A bit of inconsistency with the intention of the world and its presentation, again.

I have to wonder how much of it is exaggerated for effect (maybe none though, ha). I do sometimes act a little more into something than I really am, for hilarity's sake. Or do I?
