Two things: Some people are acting like the information in this leak suggests some sort of conspiracy to cater to straight male sensibilities at all costs. But if I am reading it right (and do correct me if I'm wrong) F/F has the most nudity, with M/F showing comparatively less. I suppose you could argue "hot lesbians" but that seems like a rather roundabout way to go about it. If this is all straight male developers shafting everyone else then I don't see why they would bypass breasts in the M/F romances. Secondly, I cannot imagine why there would be less nudity in M/M romances, and if that is the case it sucks and I feel ya, BUT... It does not imply that M/M romances will be subpar or getting less content. Not to mention that not showing someone's ass doesn't mean the scene won't be explicit in other ways. So hold your horses and take a deep breath. M/M be like: BroRyder sees MRomace down the hall. BroRyder waves. MRomance waves back. *fade to black* They wake up next to each other under the bed wearing spacesuits. Twist. They wake up wearing more clothes than before it all faded to black.

Many of the romance options could be completely different from what we have thought of them for a very simple reason, they did mention that there would be romance options outside of our squad, to me this brings up more possibilities, a female angarian that is interested in the human anatomy, that asari doctor onboard that needs a little love, if we really think about it there could be a lot more then we think. After all they said there would be many a bang to be had

How are people comparing nudity in scenes, I seen Peebee/Ryder mentioned, and people saying Peebee/Ryder(female) has more nudity. But if both are topless, and see the bottoms of both, that doesn't make the female one have more nudity just because women have breasts.
In this game, we're never going to see penis/vagina/penetration or anything near to that. A topless male is a topless male, as is a female. If the female/female scenes have both topless and the male/male scenes have both topless, it's the exact same amount of "nudity".
As for options, I 'd be surprised if Vetra wasn't available to male characters, female characters got the turian last time around, I think they'll give it to the males this time around. Though that would give male characters 3 female companions which will no doubt give straight males more options than others, unless they make everyone an option this time around, hard to say if they will or won't do that. So far it seems, everybody minus Drack is semi confirmed as an option, and after Bull in Inquisition, I wouldn't be surprised to see it.

We know so little, I think it's too early to write off anything, other than that we're not going to get genitals and detailed humping.
The ESRB / PEGI certifications will reveal more, so to speak...

I don't know, I'm increasingly thinking that maybe Vetra isn't an option. I think it would be weird if every single female squaddie was a romance option. And we know for sure that Cora and Pee Bee both are. I wouldn't be surprised if Vetra is our Vivienne this time around. She's just uninterested for whatever reason. Maybe she's already married? Or she's just not into humans? I know that people will be disappointed if they introduce an awesome lady turian and then decide not to make her an LI, but I'm just kind of getting this feeling about her.
I have a feeling that the rest of the female options will come from NPCs. Dr. Lexi as a prominent NPC for both Scott and Sara. And some unknown female NPC as the lesbian option. That would give straight Scott three options and lesbian Sara three options. If gay Scott has two options and straight Sara has 2-3 (I'm not convinced that Liam and Jaal are all for her), then we'd definitely be in the "most options ever" territory when combined with the flings added in.

I see no issue with that, what I was saying is pretty much centered on the Peebee scenes that were mentioned earlier in the topic when we were spoiler tagging everything and it's a bitch to go back and find the exact quote, where it was mentioned that the Peebee/female scene has more nudity than the male one, but if the female scene shows Peebee and Ryder both topless and both their bottoms, and the male shows the exact same, the female one doesn't have more nudity because female Ryder has breasts. But on the flip side, if female Ryder and her yet unannounced lesbian crew mate has a scene where they are both topless and laying in bed, and male Ryder and his unannounced but leaning towards Reyes gay love interest has a scene where they're both topless and laying in bed. I'm saying it's the exact same amount of nudity, just because current society dictates breasts are bad and need to be covered up doesn't make a topless female anymore nude than a topless male.

The official site mention family ties as the reason why she wasn't keen of going exploring the new galaxy. While it's not a certain proof, it's a possibly hint of her not romanceable status.

Yeah and in ME1 Garrus, Tali and Wrex couldn't be romanced, ME2 Zaeed, Legion, Mordin, Grunt, and Kasumi weren't love interests, and in ME3 EDI, James and Javik weren't either, so we should expect that not every squadmate is going to be a love interest. I think its extremely likely Drack won't be. I'll eat my hat if he is. And Vetra maybe won't be either. Nyreen wasn't. And I wouldn't be disappointed by that myself, but I know loads of people will, though this is inevitable since BioWare are bound to let down one group of fans who were hoping to romance a specific character. I still think and hope that everyone gets at least one of the starting five, since from the trailers it is heavily implied that our other squadmates join later (it can even be argued Peebee, Vetra and Drack aren't from the very beginning, unlike Liam and Cora). As to be expected straight men get two, Cora and Peebee. Straight women only get one, Liam. Lesbian women will get Peebee (and maybe either Cora or Vetra, but not both, and if Vetra is a LI, I think she'll be an exclusive for Sara). And I am still strongly certain that gay men won't get one, since I just don't think BioWare have made Liam bi It's really not even about Liam now in the wider context, I'll just be disappointed knowing yet again I can't romance a squadmate from the beginning/early on and get to enjoy a longer arc like everyone else.

We if you were single, female and drunk you could sleep with Javik Maybe it's because I'm an older woman, but I adored Zaeed and was sad he couldn't have a fling with Shep, but if you take certain people to the Citadel party he tells her he always thought she was beautiful.

I'm saying it's the exact same amount of nudity, just because current society dictates breasts are bad and need to be covered up doesn't make a topless female anymore nude than a topless male. Actually, that's exactly what dictates that the female version of your scene has more nudity. You can disagree all you want, but that's currently how it is and how ratings are formed. Women have 3 parts of their bodies that are considered private/sexual and therefore considered nudity if shown whereas men only have 2. And where did you get that the reasoning is "breasts are bad"? Does society think butts and genitals are bad, too? Like it or not, breasts are sexualized and therefore considered nudity. This might seem odd from an evolutionary perspective, but it... makes sense from a practical one ( ) and is unlikely to change.

Shirtless men and women are equal in how much clothing is lost, but because we females have breasts that are highly sexualized in society, females look like they get more nudity than men.

But I'd much rather see Andromeda lean more towards Inquisition's approach to LIs than DA2's "If you want to f*** them, they want to f*** you too!"Personally I prefer choice. Also in DA2 if you were a complete dick to them, no, they would not continue the romance with you. So it's not really as you describe.

I know its pretty much a given anyway becuz asari, but bisexual asari LI makes my eyes roll SOOOOOO far back in my head lmao.. I think it can certainly make sense, and I have no problem with it. Asari evolved without a concept of gender; they are even perfectly happy falling in love with many, many different kinds of species (including some that look nothing like them, like hanar). It seems clear that for the asari, gender, sex, and even overall appearance, factor very little into whether or not they find someone attractive and worthy of love.

Yeah they had their man panties on but I didn't really need to see their butts anyway, I mean, who cares. It would start to feel like porno if they showed them pulling their undies off and slipping a hand in lol

But even then it was a semi-romance, 'maybe in another world/under different circumstances' thing. I'd have loved if Peebee was just like "nah, bro. Not interested." Especially since there isn't a Liara lingering in the background like there was with the original trilogy.

I mean think back about all the great sex advice she gives. Anyway I don't think it should be assumed that all Asari will be open to both genders of every species. Gotta be some Asari that breaks the mold.

I do hate how every single damn asari wants to bang you in the trilogy. I plan to romance Peebee, so I'm happy she's available, but I'd like some major side characters who are both asari and not interested in my character, please and thank you.

it makes sense and I have no problem with it (I am a filthy bi myself). asari squadmate as a romance option for both PC genders still makes me eyeroll tf tho At least we got asari like Matriarch Aethyta seemingly caring more about the physical appearance side of things. I mean think back about all the great sex advice she gives. Anyway I don't think it should be assumed that all Asari will be open to both genders of every species. Gotta be some Asari that breaks the mold. There's not one character Claudia Black voices that I do not like. Aethyta was my second fav Asari. For some reason I just liked Aria the most.
