So I finally saw the full sex scene with PeeBee and both Ryders... very disappointed. The animations were out of sync a lot and I didn't feel anything romantic about it. You can tell the money went into Cora and Jaal's scenes the most. I'm surprised since Asari are supposed to be the pets of BW. You see the sexual pleasure on Cora's face and Ryder's, same with Jaal, but with PeeBee, you see her sexually pleased and Ryder is not even reacting. The whole scene is about PeeBee, while Cora and Jaal's are about both them and Ryder's love.

I feel PeeBee could have had something more since it was meant to be special. It's a shame.

Yes, I'm quite ready for them to make an announcement about dlc one way or the other.  They do love keeping us in suspense a bit too much.  I would love some more Jaal content for sure though, so here's hoping we do get a dlc with some romance bonus content!

I don't think story DLC being cancelled is a bad thing honestly.

Hopefully it'll motivate them to never pull anything like this with any of their games again.

Yeah, I'd expect the DLC to happen any time between the middle of July and late August. And that hoax... Uh huh, if it hadn't already been confirmed to be a hoax, my response would have been 'not true until BioWare themselves say so.'

Seriously, the 'Mass Effect is being shelved' thing is REALLY getting tiresome. Was the launch plagued with issues? Okay, yeah, maybe a little more than usual. The stuff with #MakeJaalBi and M/M romances? Bad PR, but they actually addressed things and fixed one of the major problems. The big issue seems to be from people saying 'it's not the trilogy,' which... I mean, DUH. You spend three games with the same protagonist and companions, yeah, there's going to be a letdown - let's look at a similar example, Assassin's Creed had three games focused on Ezio's story, then moved on to Connor, and people found it more contentious. Not because of the game itself, but because of the change of central cast and setting.

Maybe Andromeda didn't hit the ground running, and maybe there's internal stuff that NDAs are blocking - on that front, I really would not be surprised in the least to hear about contention from Mass Effect and Anthem, which honestly feels to me like EA shoved an MMO on BioWare and demanded their top talent and focus - but Mass Effect is still a lucrative franchise. Any 'shelving' is purely a result of having released the game and having other games on the docket, both Anthem and Dragon Age 4 already taking up their time and attention.

What's odd is I found the sales stats and it seems EA's expectations for MEA were exceeded, so shelving it for doing poorly is not making any sense. EA likes money. EA wants money. DLC will give them money. MEA2 will keep the money rolling.
