Would you like to know the probability of Sara/Dagna ending badly?
It's high... It's very high.

Well that would be bad, right? But they don't have much in common. What is the thing Sera probably hates/fears the most in the world? Magic. Which is Dagna's greatest passion. And we know that Sera will end a relationship if her partner refuses to change her beliefs, so I just can't see it ending well. It also just feels like "pair the spares" to me, since they literally never interact. To be honest, I wouldn't call Dagna crazy or mischievous either. Quirky and eccentric, yeah.

To be fair, Sera's breaking point seemed to be more elfy related than the magic. She's shown to be far more tolerant if a dwarf, human or Qunari say they believe in the events at the Temple of Mythal. Dagna should be able to avoid the more contentious aspects. Only thing I'd be concerned about is if she decides to point a loaded weapon at Dagna in a fit of fright.

Sera's scared of magic, but even with a mage Quizzie she trusts that "she's different, so it doesn't matter". And she explicitly tells Dorian that alchemy/magic from a bottle (which is essentially what Dagna does) doesn't bother her, because if it goes wrong no one busts out in demons. I mean, feel free to dislike the ship anyway, but there's that.

Exactly my thoughts when I found out that these two would get together. If they wanted to give Sera a girlfriend then they could have given her Harding, they both like mayhem after all and Harding might be patient and understanding with Sera. Outside of SeraxDagan, I'm not a fan of Isabella x Fenris, primarily because it feels like just a causal fling.

Most of her banter with Dorian is about him trying to get her interested in the stuff, eventually she gets annoyed to where she tells him "I. Don't.Care. I like you Dorian, don't push it." It just doesn't seem like the best fitted relationship. One person loves something so much that they based their life around it, and the other person at best doesn't care about it and wants people to stop talking about it.

Sera likes bottled magic well enough, and Dagna takes scary concepts and breaks them down, makes them easy to digest. Contained. No demons. Plus they're both estranged from their families, and they're not elfy enough for elves/dwarfy enough for dwarves, so... eh, it's enough for me.

Oh, I totally forgot: Bethany and Sebastian.
"But that's your sister!" Yeah, but when your own RL sisters fall exclusively for fuckoffs and nitwits, you appreciate it when one of them falls for a nice guy.

Hahahahah I feel the same way (or the opposite way?) I'm always like get your hands off my man Isabella! I'd also love to see Cullen and Cassandra's friendship turn romantic if you don't romance either of them but I suspect that would spark a ton of hate from jealous inquisitors Idk really cassandra and cullen have more of an older sister-brother relationship and it would have been cliche really two soldiers who left their orders hooking up... i dunno Yeah maybe, but at the same time they have so much in common, not just being soldiers about the same age who left the order, but the same values and already a great friendship based on mutual respect (kind of reminds me of Garrus & Shepard in MA) and after seeing both their romance arcs I couldn't help thinking those two would be so perfect for each other

I somewhat agree with Cullen/Cassandra, since they have a lot in common, but I'd prefer them to remain as friends. I do think that as a couple they could be quite stable and sweet. As for those I do ship, Dorian/Bull is pretty high up (even their ship name is cute--Adoribull!) and Sebastian/Bethany, and Carver/Merrill. Also Fenris/Isabela a bit. Yes, it's problematic, but it intrigues me. I think they have potential. Please don't kill me

Aveline/Donnic is definitely my favourite, though and I'm pretty cool with Dorian/Bull, too. They have great banter that shows the progress of their relationship so there's definitely chemistry there (though my Quizzies do tend to steal Dorian for themselves ). Krem/Maryden is cute: it's the reason I now always go with Spirit!Cole. . Anyway, to keep it short, I like all pairings with the exception of one: Varric/Bianca - I downright hate that one. Not sure if I'll be able to explain it properly, but I felt like the writers tried too hard to make me like her and the pairing. "Look, she has Varric's deadpan humour!" "Look! She's a genius!" "Look! She's an ever better archer than Varric!" "Look! Their love story is tragic" and I'm like, "Give me a break. >.>"

Funny, this reminds me of an interview where David Gaider expressed bemusement over the notion that all romances had to be positive and loving. He thought that ones you knew were a train wreck in the making were just as, if not more fun to write and play. Hot and angry and sweaty passion, followed by hilarious awkwardness.

To be honest I hate most of them, especially Isabela x Fenris and Bull x Dorian (I am really grossed out by relationships where the two people don't appear to be on equal standing, or where one person makes light of another's trauma). BUT I must admit, I truly adore Aveline x Donnic. They're a match made in heaven They respect each other, they adore each other. They're perfect. This^ Especially the IsabellaxFenris "pairing" I found it troubling due to some the stuff she says to him when talking about his past. I do wish Varric and Cassandra could be a thing though or at least hinted at. Could not stand Bianca *shudders*

Dagna might be the only being in the universe capable of making Sera ok with magical research so SeraxDagna gets my vote.

I liked Carver and Merrill, thought I am not sure if I made too much out of the banters they had. Aveline and Donnic was a comedy gold, apart from being sweet. Morrigan - Alistair. They two deserved each-other. The moment Isabela hit on Fenris, I regretted that I did not ignore her on the second play-through the same way I ignored her in the first one. There is absolutely no way to put that woman into her place, tell her how much you hate her, and she is dressed up in bright blues, while my character wears chin to floor gray robes... I've never finished that play-through.
