So, I got Eve, saved the academy, destroyed Tunchaka bomb, saved some civilians. So I thought I had to do the priority mission now?

So, you recommend Eden Prime soon. I have the same four companions I've had since the start. Been wondering where all the recruitment was. Thought Jack was going to join up :/

Okay, I've been buying upgrades for my sniper rifles like crazy but saving money just in case. I'll buy anything I feel like then.

I would do everything you can... that won't be all the side-quests in your journal since some of them involve clusters that haven't unlocked yet.  I would definitely scan anything you haven't yet and then go directly to the Citadel and find the NPCs that want the stuff you collect so you get credit for those war assets.  Some of those NPCs on the Citadel will change after Priority:  Tuchanka, locking out a few of those side-quests.

Eden Prime is your DLC and there is a squad mate with that DLC.  Now, themikefest is recommending doing it after Priority:  Tuchanka and the next mission that will trigger right after that.  His reason is because there is some special dialogue regarding the Eden Prime mission in ME1 with the Virmire Survivor if you wait and other stuff doesn't happen.  I like to do it first, because your new squad mate has some pretty good dialogue if taken on the Priority Tuchanka mission and the mission that will trigger right after that.  So, it's your choice... there's special dialogue to be heard either way.

I thought what the scanning did was give me platinum without having to click on a planet. So when I didn't get any numbers popping up, I was confused.

I've had to run away from some reapers and so far only got some fuel after visiting several places. I read the Reapers reset after a mission?

Once you get your new squad mate, take him with you on Priority Tuchanka (he's quite useful combat-wise).  When you trigger the mission following that (back at the Citadel), take him there with either James or EDI to get the most out of him.  If you decide not to take your new squad mate (in case you don't like him), then take Garrus.

Next time she goes on a binge like that, make sure she gets off the couch and goes back for another few rounds.   Hint:  You don't wake up on Aria's couch.
