You know, if I could train a brown recluse or a black widow to sting stray cats that wander into the yard, then I wouldn't mind having those around either.

I was a cat person... until I got a dog. And now both are gone and I miss them so much sometimes. Why do people always have to pick sides? I love cats and dogs equally for different reasons. Cats are like women and dogs are like men. (I'm serious, I can go into more detail.) Train a dog properly and he's the most loyal loving idiot ever. No seriously, mine almost broke a leg trying to jump over a ditch because I ordered him to, forgetting that dogs just do that without thinking. I got mine from a Spanish dog shelter when he was already 10. So jumping over that ditch didn't work out so well. He yelped and that limp never quite went away. But boy did he look happy as he jumped... :/ My cat also had a limp after falling off the roof but at least that wasn't my fault. I had both of them at the same time for a while. They were kind of scared of each other for no reason because both were utter meek sheep. Now, the rabbit I had for a while on top of those two wasn't afraid of anything, always tried to mount the cat, lol! One of those big ones people eat. They're hardly pets. Will viciously fight you when you pick them up. The males used to fling pee at me when I tried to catch them. I had so many scratches on my arms... My cat never once scratched me intentionally. She would PRETEND to bite when annoyed which didn't happen a lot but it was effective. Cat people always say dogs are loud. Mine wasn't. He didn't bark and was so quiet people didn't realize there was a dog asleep in the room. My cat on the other hand drove me crazy with her endless let me out/ let me in routine. Trying to watch a movie while opening the veranda door every ten minutes is no fun... Aside from that my cat was an angel. By this I mean she wasn't being that useful as a killer either. She did kill mice outside once in a while. Bugs too but 99% of all bugs in the house were still a nuisance. My cat was so scared of people and the world outside our garden that she'd follow me around like a dog in the backyard. Shorty before she died of water in all major organs at age 17 they found an air gun bullet still stuck in her chest on the xray! I never knew!!! This might have explained her reluctance to leave the property... I can count the stuff my cat broke on one hand. Never once saw her push stuff off the table. None of the things cats apparently do on YT mine did. No toilet paper incidents. Nothing. She was the most boring cat ever. Which was GOOD. I believe cats in apartments are just neurotic as fuck. Mine slept 90% of the day on a chair in the backyard or on the couch. My dog was also scared of everything. Especially horses but also crows and basically anything that moved. He was scared of men but not women (his former owner was an old lady and I lived alone with my mom, so). He once fell into a pond totally covered in autumn leaves. He thought it was solid ground. He panicked. It was both funny and awful. Then he fell into another tiny pond covered by that green stuff ducks eat. It was really just a puddle in the forest but he made the same mistake thinking he could walk on it. Hilarious! He didn't like water much. Even before that. He looked miserable when he needed a shower. I wish I still had time for a dog... Mine died when I was still in college.I have a full time job now and can't walk a dog anymore. Yes dogs are a lot of work but they are also such joy to be around. Now if you want to talk crazy expensive high maintenance, let's talk GUINEA PIGS. Apparently it costs less to feed a horse! They cost me about 40€ of food a month, plus that expensive floor padding. I built them a 4 square feet cage (I has four of them) which took about an hour to clean each week. I got up earlier to prepare their food each morning. I still cannot comprehend how such small animals can eat so much. It boggles the mind.2/3 of my fridge was filled with their veggies. They also get sick a lot. Since these pigs do NOT like being touched they're basically as useful as fish, only very noisy and very smelly. Don't get me wrong, they are cute as hell and fun to observe and don't actually need you much since they have each other. But if you have any respect for their nature you can't really do much with them. ...and then they ALWAYS die in the most horrific manner. Them and rabbits. I'm traumatized from all the suffering. Hamsters just drop dead one day. That's nice...

I don't mind other people's cats, but if someone was trying to buy one while sharing a household with me, I'd never go along with it. I just don't see any benefits to owning one, I get along with cats just fine. I just see them as a burden, they do not offer anything that dogs cannot offer in a far better manner.

I thought this was pretty interesting speaking of gender experiences: That was...interesting. I don't want to get a political discussion going, so I'm going to leave it at that.
My question is, as a former man, why didn't she handle those two examples? She should know how to handle those men, being formerly a man.

This is just me guessing, but perhaps you get so stunned by the absurdity of the situation that you are left literally speechless? Or perhaps she had started to assimilate a "female" way of handling conflicts. For many females (certainly not all, but many) a goal is to avoid aggression with males because there's this instinct that knows what they can do (even though it's hardly realistic to expect such a worst-case scenario).

Alright gents and dames, here's another question for your consumption, which kinds of hairstyle(s) do you fancy on the opposite sex (or same one )? For men I prefer short cropped hair (points to avatar)...I have developed an odd fondness for cow licks. Prefer no facial hair, but find a touch of stubble sexy. For women short cropped or styles from the 1940s and 50s.

Well, if I wanted to get technical I'd say I like some stubble on men for looks (I think Fallout 4 referred to it as "Lazy Morning") and clean shaven for...<clears throat> other duties.

Alright gents and dames, here's another question for your consumption, which kinds of hairstyle(s) do you fancy on the opposite sex (or same one )? I personally dig long dark hair with "tails" that flow over the shoulders and over the torso, complimented with the addition of bangs and the ears not being covered (which I find oddly more attractive than when they're covered). Color? Somehow lighter. Something not too dark or too light... Ain't matter much!

I can't really say about the hairstyles, I like what fits that person's face and personality best. Sometimes that means unruly and curly hair, sometimes it's something short and clean-cut. I realize this is a bit of a non-answer, so I can say in general I have a weakness for hair about this length:

Alright gents and dames, here's another question for your consumption, which kinds of hairstyle(s) do you fancy on the opposite sex (or same one )? I like short hair cuts, like pixie cuts, most. reason is I find many of the long hairstyles obscure the face and neck too much, get in the way, I also think there is lots of beauty in practicality. I like women who are a little different and aren't afraid to show it, who set themselves apart a little form the crowd, mentally and in style as well. Hair color really does not matter much as long as its a natural color. This would be a near-perfect example:

What are your top 5 favorite dog breeds?
In no order: Mutt (healthy, smart and friendly) Standard Poodle (if it isn't from a puppy mill, it's almost as smart as a mutt) Golden Retriever (friendly, but dumb as a stump) Beagle (escape artist) Bluetick Coonhound (armed with a very cold nose!)
