So I don't get it why you're saying it's more active than ME3...  Well there are again 30 people browsing MEA forum atm, only 2 on here. IMO it s more objective than our friendlist, cause sure, we friend with people playing ME3... But then if u look at posting and threads, seems MEA MP formum is indeed a ghost town now.. Alfonse,pls.Quit defending that crap MEA.March 2019 that game will be completely dead.  P.S. If you continue i won't revive you during our duos.  |

ME:A MP has the same potential as ME3MP to live on, like an established player base here on this forum. The same potential applies in regard to user created content. You can make themed challenges for ME:A MP like we have here for ME3MP. However, I think MP is deeply tied to the SP campaign. If you don't like the lore, characters and the SP universe, MP really isn't anything special, just horde mode like a ton of alternate games out there. From what I've heard of ME:A SP, the campaign is weaker and the characters less interesting. Hence the increased longevity of ME3MP. |

I finished SP campaign and can say that the only interesting thing in the game was angara race.Your sqad members are boring and dull.Not to mention that the protagonist(i played a male Ryder) is just awful.Looks like a metrosexual teenager.It wasn't the worst thing.The worst thing was that his personality is as booring as your teamates.Tons of meaningless quests.Biover,pls.I can't agree with your statement.MEA doesn't have the same potential for themed challenge as ME trilogy.No the game is not completelly garbage.If it was stand-alone game,probably i will give it at least 7 rating,but as ME game sucks.Sucks hairy asses. I have something to post too, guess I'll just drop it here. It started as a dare by Sonashii , my initial thought was to simply blow him off, however idea kept growing in me. Oh. well. But before we get to analyze the solo I'd like to clear something up. You like Claymore? Oh noe... And know that I'm still waiting for your solo. Or maybe you want to switch the weapon to Dark Lord instead? It would be much more easy  What? You really thought I would have forgotten this insolence of yours? There is only one Lord, and He does *not* share power. Ok, now that we got all this disregardfulness out of the way, I'll say some things about the solo.
- The dare was to solo Thunderdome.
- At the very end I had an aneurysm and screwed the recording, timer at 0:00. In my mind I was going to finish the game with a triple shot followed by the classic heavy melee. Unfortunately I pressed every wrong button. It has never happened to me before, don't judge me! Anyway, score was 385k+, time was 47-something minutes.
- Kit was Human Soldier, what else.
- And Claymoar as my weapon. Always with Choke and High Velocity barrel + weight bug.
- First runs showed I could dispose of any boss without breaking a sweat, but 10 out of 10 times my ass went down because of Marauders and Troopers. Their damage and accuracy are too damn high and since I have already used the "Hardening" evo on my first solo, I was time to revisit the drawing board.
The solution was the Concussive Shot. "Area" ConShot + "Recharge" (4b and 5b) allowed me to turn the tide and hunt the mooks down, creating concussions, tech explosions, opportunities for headshots and never feeling exposed due to Claymore's weight. What a marvelous power. Phantoms disapproved. - Frags had to step down to 5a and Fitness up to 4b. Nevertheless, Frags did wonders once again.
- I went for all the damage I could get (Shock Trooper instead of Grenade Gear). No defence at all, Adrenaline Rush kept me going on and on and on, I won't say again that I consider ME3's Adrenaline Rush probably the best power in all Trilogy.
- The rest was up to me. All I had to do is trust my kit, my gun and myself. Results you ask? With AP rounds I could eat up Banshees like breakfast, Praetorians could not even get NEAR the High Lord. Even Possessed ones with 48k of armor + Barriers were NOT a problem. Scions had their fair share too:
![]() ![]()  - With Disruptor rounds, I laughed like a maniac at all the chaos I created, Phantoms getting zapped, mooks getting massively staggered and hidden A-bombs exploding left and right, wtf. Beautiful.
- The only hit and a miss were the objectives. My fastest run with Disruptor rounds was 41:55 becuase it had two Target objective waves in it, 3 and 10.
- I was somewhat expecting Targets again, and frankly I was exhausted, I was hoarding my supplies the whole solo, I just wanted to nuke some sh1t and go home.
- Trying not to waste any resources was pretty difficult, wave 4 and 9 were asking for some nuking. So was wave 6, glad I didn't. Surely one of my most confident moments.
- The build is this. And I'm keeping it, it is a freaking monster.
I'm currently recovering from an eye surgery and my eyesight sucks, so bare with me. Thank you for creating and balancing this "Shepard" kit Bioware. I miss Shepard. Thanks for the challenge Sona. I'd gladly go through this again, if you do a backflip and land on your nose. So, here it is. That's all folks. See you all in Puglands. I've no doubt this was an awesome solo, though I didn't have the time to see the video (yet). Being a card-carrying member of the ME3MP Platinum Solo Hall of Fame, I figure some of you might enjoy this, even though it's Mass Effect Andromeda related. I recently completed Platinum Solos using every character kit in ME:A Multiplayer! Check out my videos here: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLt3wfDDuc3QC-Qx9Uqb3LHvfGXt6Sk1o_Soloing Platinum in ME:A is hard, but I ultimately developed a strategy on one of the maps (Sandstorm) that makes it similar to those developed for Firebases Giant and White in ME3MP. Since I'm on Xbox One, I can't mod the objectives, so there's lot of trial and error getting RNG to cooperate. Please enjoy! Wow, that's lovely. I've no idea if soloing (and other forms of self-imposed challenges) are a thing in MEA, but this is impressive either way. Well done! I wanted to collect game data for MEA too, and have halls of fame for solos and other kinds of runs, but the thread I started for it never got a single reply.  In retrospect, it's probably for the best, as I barely have enough time to keep this going (sort of). I feel a bit guilty for never giving that game a proper chance. From what I've heard and seen, MEA MP is not a worthy successor to ME3 MP, and SP just plain sucks, but still. Do many people still play it? (Nvm, that question was answered in the discussion.) |

Since I'm on Xbox One, I can't mod the objectives, so there's lot of trial and error getting RNG to cooperate. Please enjoy! Wow, that's lovely. I've no idea if soloing (and other forms of self-imposed challenges) are a thing in MEA, but this is impressive either way. Well done! I wanted to collect game data for MEA too, and have halls of fame for solos and other kinds of runs, but the thread I started for it never got a single reply. In retrospect, it's probably for the best, as I barely have enough time to keep this going (sort of). I feel a bit guilty for never giving that game a proper chance. From what I've heard and seen, MEA MP is not a worthy successor to ME3 MP, and SP just plain sucks, but still. Do many people still play it? (Nvm, that question was answered in the discussion.) I saw that Sonashii revived the thread in the MEAMP forum. I will get this information for you to start working on the ME3AP Hall of Fame. |

We're almost a year after ME:A's launch and I find the movement for both underwhelming to say the least. 
All this excitement, all this showing off, that wall of text - absolutely irrelevant without the proper submission
