Spelwyn is a Dalish Elf Keeper's Apprentice. He wanders the realm because his Keeper thought be would best serve the People by pilgrimage, somewhere else. He's essentially a lawful good individual, but admits he can be a bit of a smart ass (others might describe him as a pompous ass). A Keeper with healing and frost preferences.

Her face in particular is pale as though she lived most of her life indoors (which is fairly accurate). Elaith's possesses an athletic build making a bit bigger than an typical City Elf but on par with Dalish with a fair bit of scars from her scraps as a mercenary. Her hands are hardened, full of callouses from years of training with a sword and a bow. Elaith's mouth somewhat thin and slightly crooked. She wears ancient Dalish armor that was given to her by her father when Elaith turned 18 along with Dalish greives and boots. Her weapon of choice is the longbow: Telanadas meaning nothing is inevitable in the Elhven language and her longsword: Girl's best friend which is a Silverite long sword. Also wears a Dalish tiara of some kind which found while scavenging an Dalish ruin. Personality: At first glance Elaith may look like an innocent and delicate Elf, but it only belies her fiery demeanor. Elaith is stubborn, strong-willed and has a short temper. Described as a "wild thing" by observers, Elaith is brash and confident in her abilities to the point where she'll charge head on when others will not. This unpredictable behavior often gets her in trouble with others and more often than not, Elaith gets into fights with mercenaries and clients. Despite it all, Elaith is a caring figure who will risk her life to help the helpless especially her own kind. She admires friendship, but her volatile and stubborn personality may wear thin on those who are impatient so she is often alone. Elaith enjoys hunting, drinking, fighting and cursing (XD), however she does have a soft side and is fond of flowers and jewelry. Elaith also likes sewing something she got from her mother. Skills/Abilities/Weapons/Powers: Trained by her father (and self taught.) Elaith fighting style is strong fast and pragmatic. She relies mostly on her bow, but is willing to use her Longsword if necessary. Elaith is a capable hand to hand combatant who is not above dirty tricks meaning expect a lot of groin attacks! XD However Elaith is reckless and possesses a weak defense which more capable warriors use to their advantage. Fed up with the racism, Elaith's father took her out of the alienage where she spent most of her life traveling from village to village. Elaith's father taught her about the Dalish and the Elven gods and some of the Elven language, in addition he taught her how to fight and how to hunt. Though Elaith loved her father, she ultimately disagreed with his views of the Shemlen, considering how she easily made friends with the children (though she endured racial slurs from the adults.). When Elaith turned 18, she left her father in search for an adventure and has been traveling ever since.

It is rumored that Adeline maintains her youthful appearance through the use of magic. Adeline is described to have shoulder length brown hair, brown skin and eyes. She dislikes shoes due to its discomfort and one time as a girl, she sustained a nasty fungal growth causing her to swear off wearing shoes despite the Templars insistence to wear shoes at all times in the Circle, preferring to walk barefoot. Adeline's outfit is what appear to be made together out of various pieces of clothing by merchants while she was on the run from the Circle. It is a very low cut brown dress which show off her "ample assets" (XD), the clothing also shows off her legs (shown in the link below) while her arms are covered by dark brown separate sleeves. The clothing overall is held together by a light brown belt and thick green string. (A visual look below) Adeline wears a necklace pendant, given to her best friend before her death to the Templar. It is simple in design: A flat, smooth golden circle with red engravings that still remain a mystery to Adeline. Her friend Lia was going to tell her about its origins before her death. pre00.deviantart.net/b9de/th/pre/f/2015/269/4/c/corinne_tilly_4k_by_millianalennie-d9b1x9h.jpg (Legs) millianamoonwalll.deviantart.com/art/Corinne-Tilly-4K-562556178 (Entire attire I'll get a better screenshot of this for future RPs) Played By: Well I consider myself the lone fan of Corinne Tilly considering this is largely based off her so yeah we'll go with Corinne! XD Personality: A kind-hearted and intelligent woman, Adeline is an apostate uses her magic to help the sick and protect the innocent. While somewhat frustrated at the feeling that she could use her powers to help the people of Theadas rather than simple villagers; Adeline nevertheless enjoys the fact that at least she can help some people while hiding from the Templars. Adeline is pensive and likes to write in her journals, detailing her time in the fade and coming up with theories of magic. Adeline believes that people are scratching the surface of magic and that its true potential has yet to be unlocked. While she is a follower of Adraste's teachings and the Maker, Adeline blames the Chantry for holding mages back and thinks that Templars are drunk with power, often getting away with murder and other countless crimes going back to the time when she witnessed drunk Templars murdering her friend Lia because they felt that she was possessed by a demon. Adeline wants to dismantle the Chantry and reform to where it is friendlier to mages. She understands though, that not all of the people of the Chantry are bad considering she's made friends with a lot of sisters (and Mother Bella is the closest person she has to a mother) Adeline struggles with her desire to seek vengence against the Templars and corrupt churches and trying to prove that magic is something to be respected not feared. Adeline is always calm under pressure, rarely losing her cool and is supportive of the people close to her. When not helping the local village, Adeline loves to dream and explore the fade communicating with many spirits and learning ancient magic. She also likes fortune telling and dream interpretation and never misses a chance to sit down and enjoy a nice herbal tea while taking in the peaceful tranquility of the forest. Skills/Abilities/Weapons/Powers: Aside from learning the basics of magic in the Circle, Adeline trained herself in Fade Magic in her dreams. While she's skilled in melee with her staff, the use of other weapons escape her. Rift Mage (Veilstrike, Stonefist, Restorative Veil, Pull of the Abyss) Heal, Chaotic Focus, Barrier, Revive, Fade step, Static Cage, Regenerate, Rejuvenate. Staff: Dreamcatcher +16 Spirit Damage +9% Attack +32% Barrier Damage Bonus +16% Guard Damage Bonus +18 Magic Masterwork Inscribed Staff Grip Archmage Staff Blade Master Spirit Rune History: Adeline Linet was born in Denerim, immediately after she was born Adeline's mother sent her to the orphanage for unknown reasons. Adeline first discovered that she had magic abilities when she was 5 years old, setting a boy's hair on fire when he was teasing her. It was then Adeline was taken to Kinoch Hold, Ferelden's Circle for training. Druing her time to in the circle, Adeline often went to her room and dream about the fade where interacted with the spirits and explore vast and mysterious dreamworld. Adeline didn't make many friends, she was a shy child, who didn't speak much. The only person she would talk to, was Mother Bella who taught Adeline the Chant of Light and always gave her cookies. Adeline looked up to Bella and wanted to Chantry sister when she grew up. Adeline eventually made friends with an Elven girl named Lia, who came to the Cricle a year after her. They became close and Adeline took Lia under her wing to study magic. Adeline excelled in her studies, becoming a top mage prospect. One night after her 18th birthday Adeline heard rumors about the Harrowing from a mage who just passed his. He said that the First Enchanter and Knight Commander randomly chooses a person whom they feel is ready and the candidate enters the fade from the use of Lyrium. It is then that the First Enchanter summons a demon that tries to posses them. If the succeeds then they are a mage, if not then they are struck down by Templars. The Mage then said that Lia and Adeline were next for testing. Fearing for that that she could lose her friend, Adeline went to sleep and entered the fade. It was in there, she convinced a spirit to masqurade as a demon on the day of hers and Lia's harrowing that way it can be an easy kill and both of them will not be possessed. The spirit agreed and on the day of their harrowing the spirit became a demon who was slain by Adeline and Lia. Adeline never told Lia about the pack she made with the spirit. She was glad that her friend was alive, but Adeline felt a pang of guilt, when Lia told her that she overcame the demon all by herself and that she felt stronger for it. Afterwards, Lia gave Adeline a necklace, that she made in her time in the Circle as thank you gift for teaching helping her gain enough power to pass the Harrowing. This guilt intensified within Adeline, but she rationalized the fact that her friend is safe and an apprentice mage. When Adeline was 20 she was busy in the library putting books away, until she witnessed Lia being harassed by drunken Templars. They accused her, of being a demon, which Lia denied It was then that the Templars cut her down. Adeline was in disbelief, feeling helpless that she couldn't assist her friend. The Templars then turned to Adeline and before she could do something, used their powers to suck her magic away and knock her out. Adeline awoke in the First Enchanter's office, where the same Templars who killed her friend were accusing her of killing Lia. The First Enchanter didn't believe them, but the Templars insisted that Knight-Commander is calling for Adeline's head and that they have proof. Adeline tried to refute the claims, but the Knight-Commander and the Templars managed to pull off a convincing lie that put Adeline at the scene of the crime. The Knight-Commander sentenced Adeline to death. On the night of her execution, Mother Bella came to Adeline's dungeon with food and supplies insisting that she must escape the Circle and that she destroyed Adeline's phylactery. Hesitantly, Adeline accepts and she fled the Circle to parts unknown. Not knowing where to go, Adeline went from town to town, resorting to theft in order to feed herself. One day, Adeline came across a village in the forest, that was being attacked by Darkspawn. Without hesistation, Adeline used her magic to defeat the Darkspawn and heal the wounded. The villagers grateful for her help, elected her a "village witch" and promised to never sell her to the Templars. It was then Adeline settled down and watched over the village in the forest in the years to come.

Age: 25
Personality: Malora suffers from dissociative identity disorder (also called multiple personality disorder) and has two distinct identities.
1. Malora: Malora is strong-willed and determined, and never shies away from a fight. She strongly opposes corruption and tyranny, and is willing to fight to defend the freedom of other people, and herself. She is aware of the danger she poses to others, so tends to refrain from emotional attachment to anything. Most of her actions are trying to undo or correct the damage done by tyrants and also herself. She fights against slavery, alienages and Templars, seeing freedom as a goal for everyone. She also has strong views on criminals. Her views on magic are mixed. She disapproves of the use of blood magic, but definitely disagrees with the idea of Circles. She thinks of them as prisons, and Templars as corrupt overlords. She has a strong dislike of the Qun and Tevinter.
2. Callista: Malora considers Callista to be the personality which, rather than opposing her suffering, revelled in it. She is a sadomasochist, kills because she finds it fun, and takes great pleasure in causing as much chaos and pain as possible. She enjoys theatricality, and views others as sources of amusement. Life is nothing but a game for her. Shes surprisingly sociable for a crazed serial killer, more so than Malora. Malora tends to avoid social situations, whereas Callista enjoys them a lot. What would a play be without an audience after all? Callista has committed many brutal crimes in the past, often butchering her victims or killing them in obscene ways. She sees Malora as an annoyance, and will try and outsmart or sabotage her. Her sense of self-preservation is... limited, and often does things which will probably be self-destructive. Whereas Malora opposes criminals, Callista enjoys their company. But she will still kill them when she gets bored.
Appearance: Malora has brown hair and blue eyes. She wears a dark hooded cloak because she is mostly active during the night. She is lightly armored to keep herself nimble and quick. She tries to hide her face as much as possible. Callista on the other hand... has a different fashion sense entirely.
Background: Malora was born in Kirkwall, as a single child. Her parents were alcoholics, abusive and tormented her constantly. Her suffering eventually led to Callista, who slaughtered their parents when Malora was sixteen. Feeling horrified, disgusted and distraught, Malora fled Kirkwall entirely, and was found by a group of assassins who trained her, but she decided against pursuing a career in assassination in favor of vigilantism. She spends most of her time in the larger cities in Thedas (avoiding Tevinter ofc), or travelling. She has a reputation in some areas of Thedas under the name of "The Shadow". Callista is yet to develop a reputation, much to her annoyance. (Either during or post-Inquisition: Malora assisted the Inquisition on a few occasions, but her wariness of Callista eventually caused her to stop contact.)
Weapons/Skills:
Malora is a trained assassin, so is skilled at unarmed combat, climbing and stealth. She wields a bow, and has two daggers just in case. She is a trained swordsman, but avoids using them because of their weight.
(will make a complete list of her powers when I have time)
Callista... lets say various, because shes a little more unorthodox

Name: Enathaya Age: 19 Class: Apostate Mage Race: Alienage Elf Appearance: A little smaller than average, with rough skin for her age due to a harsh lifestyle and malnutrition. Her plain features and non-descript clothing help her to not call any undue attention to herself. Personality:
Shy and hesitant to form relationships with others due to her history and her fear of being discovered by Templars. She is dedicated to her family, who have been the only constants in her life. Skills: winter's grasp haste (a low level version) low level heal spell backstab stealth ice mine History: Enathaya's magic manifested when she was 9 years old, when she froze a bandit in his tracks as he lunged to grab her. Her family fled Denerim's alienage that night, and have never spent more than a year living in one place since then. Their last flight forced them to Kirkwall, where they have been lying low in a hovel in the alienage. Enathaya was taught to use knives for self-defense from a young age, and when her magic manifested, she started to learn how to use it to make herself just a little bit faster and hardier than her opponents. She has kept her use of magic as subtle as possible to avoid any sort of attention, and outwardly her opponents see only the flash of her knives. Her family is fearful for her, however, as she has started having dreams of a demon speaking to her. She lives with her mother, father, two older brothers, and her widowed aunt.

Second son of Vivica and Alderus Hassilderus, Janus was never fully prepared for the life his upbringing would give him.
House Hassilderus has been a part of Tevene politics on and off for nearly centuries. Janus' great ancestor, Quintus Pollux, was the first to manifest the gift of magic, giving the family a chance to become an established house in the Imperium. House Hassilderus is located in the town of Qarinus, one of several Laetan houses in the fast-growing city in the present day.
However, House Hassilderus' legacy has been one of turmoil for some time, as several generations have gone by since the last magister of the family, Flavia Maeron, sat in the Magisterium. Reducing the social standing of the house, and forcing members to participate in the Publicanium, several times House Hassilderus has been accused of being unfit for their title of Laetan. It was only the sponsoring of the Altus House of Clais in Minrathous has the family been able to survive.
Janus and his brother Pheron, were both blessed with magical abilities, something that has been celebrated amongst house Hassilderus. None more delighted by the prospect was the patriarch of House Clais, Magister Haralus Clais himself. In an arrangement before the boys were born, Clais would take on the brothers as apprentices in exchange for the loyalty to the house in political affairs. It was an arrangement of convenience for Clais, planning to groom the Laetan mages to act as his personal vassals once they complete their training, and giving him a higher standing of power amongst the Magisterium.
Both boys would excel in their training, and by tradition, Magister Clais would nominate one of his apprentices to join the Magisterium. It would have been a joyous occasion for House Hassilderus, and for Janus and Pheron, a return to the lost legacies their parents spoke of as youths. Throughout their training both were in competition, with Clais subtly instructing the youths on the ways of Tevene society. Clais, like many of his kin, introduced the boys to the power of blood magic, which both embraced for their own prideful gains.
The final test required the two to perform a sacrifice to gain power, and subsequently dominate someone of their choosing. Clais, however, had other plans for the ritual. In secret, he met with both youths individually and told them the other was planning to betray them and dominate each other. The trick worked, and the final test became less of a demonstration of their power, but an example of which would be the strongest. For Clais, his plan was put into place just as he hoped.
Both Janus and Pheron would duel each other, a battle of wits to usurp the mind and snap their brothers will. In the end, Janus would be successful, the power of the sacrificial slaves and drifters swelling his own was enough to dominate his brother, forcing him into submission. Clais was impressed by the display, and goaded Janus into performing one final sacrifice to prove his loyalty - his own brother.
Janus, blood drunk and seething, stared into the eyes of Pheron, seeing in him the caring, elder brother he was one last time. He hesitated, and in a move no one expected, defied Clais for the first time, decrying that there is no honor in this sacrifice.
Clais, with a flick of his wrists, used his own power to subdue Janus. His trap was sprung- Clais had no remorse to keep an apprentice he cannot fully control. His power enveloped Janus, like a vice across his body, squeezing him as his blood boiled from within. Clais, forcing Janus to submit, threw him in his dungeon to experiment on the boy as he saw fit. In an instant his life as a member of House Hassilderus was forfeit.
No petitions would care for a Laetan mage in "house arrest for treason" as no doubt Clais would sell it. Fortunately, Janus would not suffer long under Clais' control. A day after the incident, Janus himself was freed by his brother Pheron, returning the kindness of sparing his life to him. Pheron, however, warned Janus to leave Minrathous for he will not spare him once more. Janus, in defeat, flees the city under the cover of darkness, taking to the roads of the rest of Tevinter. Knowing he could never return to his home, lest until he can gain enough prestige of his own to usurp his brother and Magister Clais, Janus becomes a wandering apostate, using his house name, and in extreme circumstances, his blood magic, to avoid the capture of templars throughout Thedas.
The events that caused his forced exile, however, have changed some of his outlook. Though pessimistic about the status of higher-born and their clear corruption in his homeland, Janus has seen the price of foolish pride, never again will he be weak in a moment of remorse, lest he be unfortunate to pay the price of his life the second time.
Of course other, more powerful beings are likely paying attention to his movements...

Name: Vex Morgan Age: 24 Gender: Male Class: Rogue Dual Weilding Race: Human
General Appearance/Physical Appearance:
5'10 caucausion who has seem some sun. Short blonde hair. One wonders if he's always scowling... or perhaps it's his stern brow over his light grey eyes and lack of a smile that make you think that. Muscular. Clothing is functional- he cares nothing for style, only if it'll keep a knife from between his ribs.
Personality and History: Vex had a rather boring upbringing and a bland personality. He excelled at nothing in particular and held no passions for anything. He felt removed, and remote; rarely smiled and did what he was told. He didn't relate to the other children, and he didn't understand why. When his father died, he pondered the value of life. He did not mourn, as his mother did, he did not cry. And as far as he could tell, he had no memory of joy either. He listened to his mother as any good boy should, and he had no siblings. Needing money, especially since his mother was growing a bit ill and could not bring in all the money anymore, he joined King Cailan's army as a soldier. It was during his first encounter with a small band of Darkspawn with his fellow soldiers that he first felt his blood lust spark within him. This spark turned into what one may call a passion, and he has felt homicidal urges ever since. When he gives into them, he feels what he has decided to call joy. After a close call nearly getting caught after murdering a prostitute in a dark alley, he has forced himself to point his desires more descriminantly. He's a bounty hunter, mercenary- whatever allows him to kill legally and for cash. And if he can sneak in a little fun illegal killing without getting caught, he's up for that too. This killing of wanted killers can give the illusion of morality that Vex allows others to believe in.
He just wants to avoid the internal feeling of emptiness that marked his childhood and youth. If he cared about anyone, it would be the mother he still sends money to back in the recovering city of Denerim. He's open to romance with anyone that can understand and accept his need to kill. Which would be quite a rare person and he doesn't actively have a hope or desire for such a person. He's perfectly fine with his joy kills and an occasional visit to a Brothel to clear out the plumbing.

If we're going to do this, can we stick mostly to our 'house style' please? (top post) It helps in a thread not to have too huge images and lists at the top of each post, thanks. (and I'll do another example when I get a chance) thanks

Character Name: Aranka Bemot  Race: Dwarf (Commoner/casteless, now surfacer) Gender: Female Faction/role: Meatshield for hire Aranka was born in Dusttown, raised in Dusttown and probably would have died in Dusttown had she not been hired as casual labour by a surfacer merchant. She hired on because she needed the money and very much needed not to be in Dusttown at the time due to a misunderstanding about her last job for the Carta. It was entirely not her fault all the nugs died. But it's a lot easier to ask for forgiveness once all the heat has died down and a protracted absence from Orzammar increases the likelihood that her bosses forget or get killed. Once on the surface, Aranka found that no one cared about her status, not even surface dwarves. And her odds of falling into the sky seem to be diminishing with time. Even trees seem less evil than she first believed. Since her ascension, Aranka has knocked around a bit, hiring out as a body guard, caravan guard, ship's marine, warehouse guard and, for twenty six hours, nanny. She never discusses the last job. Rumour has it she used the hush money from it to have her tattoo spelled off. She doesn't discuss that either. Appearance: When not working Aranka likes brightly coloured clothing and shiny baubles. She rather resembles a short stout fortune teller with lots of gauze and trinkets. She has absolutely no awareness of what colours work with each other and which ones clash. When working Aranka wears very practical armour. Her weapons are of good quality and well maintained. She is of average height for a dwarf with a round face, freckles, green eyes and red hair. She is pleasant looking rather than pretty or beautiful. She likes axes, flowers and is fascinated by birds. {OC: Is this the sort of thing wanted? I will do the powers and skills and stuff later. She's basically a sword 'n boarder at whatever level everyone else is.}

Jean-Pierre De La Vallée
Age : 54 Gender : Male Class : Sword and Shield warrior Race: Human Backstory: Jean-Pierre was born in Orlais on a farm near Val Foret. As a child , he dreamt of being Chevalier ...when it turned out that due to his social status , it wouldn't be possible, his family agreed to give away 14 years old Jean-Pierre to the Chantry so he could become a templar instead. The first years of training were rather boring but nevertheless went well , perhaps to compensate for his lack of fighting skills in general , JP became rather pious. The day JP became officialy a templar was the best day of his life , finally he would be the hero he always knew he was ...except not for he spent the next 30 years or so being a glorified jailor, high on lyrium and having to watch young mage ladies bath at the Montsimmard Circle. In the aftermath of the mage rebellion and after violence errupted at the Montsimmard Circle , JP decided in disgust to leave the templar order ... After months of living in the streets and suffering lyrium withdrawal , JP got his life back on track (more or less) and decided to buy back his parents'farm so he could finally do the Maker work and grow turnips to feed the poor. Random details: He took lyrium for quite a long time and he has sometimes memory issues. Overall racist. Specially towards Qunari. He's not that good at fighting. Should not be exposed to lyrium. Looking for coins.

Name: Gunnar"Ax" Hall Age: 36 Race: Dwarf Gender: Male Class: Warrior, Templar
Personality: Gunnar is a thrill-seeker, looking for the various ways to get himself murdered in the most dare-devilled ways possible. He's always looking for a challenge to his skills as a warrior, and for fun in general. He's sarcastic, and extremely witty, always making someone a fool because he wishes too. In short, this Dwarf doesn't care - he'll mess with you for fun, and it's at someone's own risk to annoy Gunnar. But otherwise, Gunnar is a loyal friend - someone who will always have his friend's back's no matter the case - although he doesn't take too kindly to betrayal's though. He's a bit of a smart-arse though, and always has a joke on him.
History:
Gunnar was born to Warrior-Caste member Daniel Hall and castless whore Ysabela in Ozammar. However, Ysabela died during childbirth, a act that saved Daniel's eldest son from an unfortunate life as an casteless, and saved the Hall dynasty from being ruined by the matter, and it allowed Daniel to obtain an heir - even though he was married at the time of the affair, and his wife didn't much like the prospect of having to handle a sired child from an affair, but nevertheless, for her and her families sakes, she kept her husband's secret and pretended to accept Gunnar as her own flesh and blood while they were in public, but in secret she hated him for existing in the first place, and hated her husband even more for doing the affair, but Gunnar and his father both ignored her, and as far as Gunnar knew, he had a happy childhood - and Gunnar even had some half-siblings when Daniel divorced his current wife for another when he was around seven years old, and his new wife had only one child, a girl named Either, when Gunnar was ten years old - but as far as Gunnar is concerned,
When Gunnar was fifteen years old Gunnar was sent to find the Hall Thiag in the deep roads with the help and assistance of his father, but unfortunately as the Hall's ventured further into the Deep Roads, Gunnar was trapped by a series of explosions in the Cadash Thiag - it was quite fortunate that he served such a cave in, and it was extremely fortunate that the area that Gunnar was trapped in led to the top side, to be exact the Frostbite Mountain.
Gunnar remembered walking to the top of the entrance and feeling a cold-feeling breeze past through his cheeks as he took off his large, clunky helmet to see where he was exactly - and seeing all those merchants just staring at him, as if they expected him to be a Darkspawn was a feeling of both terrible shame and unimaginable excitement at just... Having seen the world above him, and the terrible shame of having abandoned his Caste. It felt terrible.
As he adjusted to the new world, he'd soon wander to the nearby city of Redcliffe- having nothing better to do and having nothing to loss, the young Dwarf would be stopped mid-way through his journey by the Grey Wardens, whom asked him about the cave-in that led him to the surface, before going on there way. Gunnar would soon make it his mission to join them, some day..
However, for the time being Gunnar would be happy to work his way there - through some sort of skill. He'd join up with the Templars, having found it to be a good way to find both danger and excitement, as well as liking that the class - it suited him better than being a Berserker, he'd think. He was 16 years old when he joined up with the Templar's as a page of sorts.
Many years later... At the age 26, he'd be knighted, much to his thrill - he had a wife and their two twins to take care off and being a actual Templar meant he could pay for them to live in a comfortable home. However, by the time he was 35 years old, the Order had fallen into chaos, a chaos that Gunnar would refuse to be a part of, but he still however wanted to be a Templar, and so he decided to join the Grey Wardens, having decided he was happy with how his life was so far, and plus fighting dying fighting Darkspawn was a honourable one.
Skills
He's a board and sword tank warrior, with the class Templar, he's practically an anti-Magic machine as being a Dwarf provides a natural immunity to the whims of Magic as well - and all of those years of being a Templar, with a somewhat-good immunity to Lyruim, is a good thing - he's not in a stage of lyrium madness.
Martial Status: Married (to Champion-classed tank Ida Hall - been married to her for nearly thirteen years)
Children: Victoria and Gabriel Hall - both twelve years old

I think you guys will like her better. Head Shot: Name: Ashara is clanless, for hers is wiped out. Age: 36 as of 9:46 Gender: Female Class: Rogue Archer Race: Dalish Elf Ex-Grey Warden General Appearance/Physical Appearance: Long messy brown hair, tied back in a high pony tail every morning, but loose at the neck by night fall. Amber eyes, dusky skin. Muscular for an elven woman, she is battle hardened, and 5’ tall. She wears the ancient elven set from Origins dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Ancient_Elven_armor_setShe bears the tattoo of Andruil, elven Goddess of the Hunt. if not for her twin sister, she would have asked for Ghilan'nain's markings, the Mother of the Halla, due to her connection to animals and preference for a gentle life when she was young. She remembers that, on occasion, and smiles- bitterly. She keeps a small crossbow at her back, but prefers and does best with her long bow, which keeps in it’s own carrying bag unstrung. A dagger for truly close encounters is at her thigh. Personality: If she’s taking her long bow out and stringing it up, she means to kill with focused purpose. Foolhardy to most- The mindset of a woman who does not fear death- in a mildly unhealthy way. Inflexible in Opinion, Flexible in battle. Mostly tight lipped, she has a harsh humor that stays firmly on the sarcastic side. Skills/Abilities/Weapons/Powers:Stealth Lockpicking Survival Skills All the skills involved in archery are exceptional. She can communicate with higher thinking animals, such as the halla, and, likely, Griffons. History: Her clan roamed Northern and Western Fereldan. She’s familiar with Amaranthine and the clans that lived there. But it was on the western portion of the Frostback mountains that her clan was destroyed. The Darkspawn assumed she was dead in her unconsciousness, but she was tainted from the encounter. Fevered and confused, she wondered northwest, where the Orlesian Wardens gathered to enter Fereldan. She was too ill to consent, really, but the Wardens were massing for a Blight and would not let a body go to waste, so they took a shot on seeing if she’d survive the joining. They tricked her into drinking the “elixir” by telling her it was medicine. She knew Duncan and Riodan briefly after her conscription into the Orlesian Grey Wardens, before Duncan went to go make final rounds in Fereldan. Riordan then went on a secret mission, and she never saw either of them again. When the Blight suddenly ended, she felt listless, useless and felt no loyalty to the Organization that had tricked her into a weird tainted life. During one of the scrambles to destroy the last remnants of the Archdemon’s army, under combined direction and orders of both the Fereldan and Orelsian Warden Commanders, she slipped away. She is presumed dead during a Darkspawn Skirmish as of 15 years ago, and she avoids encountering Grey Wardens as a rule to maintain that assumption. More personally, she is a twin who has lost her echo and a devout Dalish who has lost her clan. Tainted, she can’t give birth to a new generation, and so sees herself as no longer like the rest of the Dalish. Something alien and unnatural runs through her blood. Also, she had only agreed to be a hunter in original clan in spite of her vegetarianism due to her sister- to always be with her. Intermittently, she will trade and interact with clans she’s long known, especially to give their Keepers any elven relics she may have chanced upon. They inevitably ask her to rejoin and become part of their clan. Respectfully, she declines, and soon moves on. RP contacts from the Pirates Clash Thread: - smilesja who plays Adelide, an ex circle mage.
- dragontartare who plays Enathaya, a city elf apostate
- linksocarina who plays Janus Quintus Hassilderus, a blood mage
- Reznore who plays Jean-Pierre De La Vallée, an ex Templar Human
- mousestalker who plays Aranka Bemot, a dwarven warrior
NPC Contacts:Mostly everyone she knew is dead. - her own clan was wiped out by Darkspawn; including her own twin sister. - she knew Velanna's clan- they're mostly all dead. - She knew Duncan and Riodan briefly - Various Clans in the Free Marches, Fereldan, and south eastern portions of Orlais Physical and Mental State:She is fit, healthy, albeit tainted the good ol' Grey Warden way, and 16 years in at that. She doesn’t fear death, and during the Blight, was outright suicidal. After a failed suicide attempt, she figured Fen’Harel must be torturing her. And sought out death through battle. She never got her battle death, for the Blight ended before it’d truly begun, and the active urge for death has waned. She’s simply waiting. One day, there will be something that can kill her. And she can finally rejoin her twin in the Beyond. She wonders if it will actually be the Calling, in the end, and a dark long walk into the Deep Roads that will bring it. Her memories of what the Archdemon felt like is probably the only fear she has, so….she had avoided this method of ending her life. Romance Availability:She's single, with limited sexual experience, but it'd be difficult. In Character Goals:
Wandering to find the battle that will finally release her from her tainted life. Find artifacts for the brethren she feels she no longer belongs to. Out of Character Goals:I want her to find a reason to feel alive again. I see her rejoining the Wardens she turned her back on, eventually, and be part of the efforts to bring Griffons back to full strength. Since she can speak to animals, this is something she could do that only she could do.

Name: Myanna Tordra Pseudonyms: Kali Norek (Twisted Oaths), Eliza Dumas (immediately prior to TO), Livia Galrek (past) Age: Early 40's Class: DW rogue Race: Dwarf, ex-carta Appearance: Black hair tinged with gray; elaborate facial tattoos; average build; keeps herself as well-groomed as possible while on the road Personality: Myanna prefers to work alone when possible in order to reduce the number of people who get to know any of her aliases. However, she will work with others when they offer skills or knowledge that she could use. When she finds herself without work, she nearly drowns with loneliness and lack of companionship, so she takes job after job, often accepting tasks that she feels are beneath her. Skills:Stealth Backstab Twin Fangs Miasmic Flask basic alchemy/herbology History: Myanna has not used her real name in public since running from the carta in 9:35 Dragon. She rarely uses an alias for more than a few months, and has had to resort to using a cipher to keep track of them all. She roams Thedas working as a knife-for-hire, occasionally using old contacts from her carta days to secure work, but with them left none the wiser. The circumstances that led to her flight from the dwarves are not widely known, even among the carta. Known Family: mother, father, older sister Magra, other sisters, numerous uncles

Eh I have a free minute at the present to engage in this so why not. So here we go a role play character...haven't sat down and done this in a minute.(Like seriously this would be the first one I have actually done since erm...Bush was in the White House but I should still remember how to do it I think) Name: Ehrhard Florian Baasch, Known in mercenary circles as 'Pursuer'
Age: Thought to be in his late 30s (Specifically 38)
Class: Warrior
Race: Human(Ander)
Affiliation: Kingdom of the Anderfels-Formerly Several noteworthy and note so noteworthy Mercenary Bands across Thedas-Formerly Himself/ His clients
Physical Appearance: Standing at a rough two meters Ehrhard cuts an imposing figure either in the tavern or across the battlefield. With a thick and bushy head of dark almost carbon like black hair that obviously has not seen much upkeep other then to keep it fit for a helm. Light blue eyes and a nose and mouth that has seen the obvious end of a shield several times over. While he is not a beautiful man, his profession does not care for that and thus he does not either. After decades of warring initially for his Kingdom and then for profit he has built himself a firm and strong figure. With forearms and shoulders as large as the average man's legs the physical power he boasts is quite easily discernible even through his armor. While in battle he most often wears either heavy chain or plate of no discernible craftsmen or note worthy maker. His armor like the man himself is rugged and boasts of the number of battles it has seen him through in the numerous scratches, scars and pits that dot it.
Yet for all the abuse the man and his gear has suffered both show no ill effects, obvious the effects of intense training and maintenance upon both. Save for the two blades that he bears for in use either with a shield or by themselves upon his person he only has a single dirk at his belt for close quarters defense. Upon his back rests a truly massive great blade that he has dubbed personally 'Shattered' in his native Ander. Extending nearly 180 centimeters Shattered is originally thought to be of Dwarven make given its Verdium casting and metal smithing is far beyond what most humans are thought to be capable of. At his side is a standard grey iron long sword, a leftover trinket from his days as a Anders soldier.
Personal Equipment: 'Shattered' his great sword, one grey iron long sword, one steel kite shield, a full set of red steel plate armor, one dagger
Personality: Ehrhard comes across as either callous or cold to most he is skilled in killing and is not ashamed of it. He is comfortable in war and has been for as long as he can remember. Even he does not know with absolute certainty if this indicates that he has simply experienced the worst humanity has offer and grew accustomed to it both witnessing and in some cases participating in some of the most horrific acts that one man can do to another over the long years that followed his initial conscription or simply fell into it because he has a natural affinity to it.
Yet despite that all or in spite it of he remains firmly devout in his belief in both the Maker and Chantry finding the premise of a warm and comforting Father awaiting them all after death to bring some soothing influence to him. Yet this perspective also colors his belief in things that fall outside the purview of the Chantry and its teachings. Namely in his dealings with the Qunari he does not trust them, nor does he extend to them the same respect he'd give to other non-human races such as Dwarves which he holds in somewhat high esteem due to the expert weapon crafting and armor smithing that the surfacer Dwarves have provided to him over the years. Elves however retain a cautionary place within his mind due to having served with several and having fought against several.
Having witnessed the prowess of Elven marksmen he is well aware of their abilities and gives them proper respect yet due to these experiences he is often wary around them. This extends especially to 'Wild Elves' or Dalish. While his dealings with the various Clans of the Dalish have been few and far between after an encounter with a Dalish Clan in southern Orlais resulted in half the mercenary company he was currently serving with death's he has held the heathens as a danger to be observed with caution. While he holds not overt hatred for them, his scorn and contempt for them often bleeds over into anger.
Overall Ehrhard is a perhaps best defined by his stubborn will and tenacity, he is willing to fight until his death in service for his clients and considers every contract to be a pledge between himself, the client and the Maker. This mercenary outlook is what defines him, his command of martial skill has earned him his living for countless years and he as he views it rightfully takes pride in his abilities. This sometimes translates into being easily offended if he views himself being mocked or construed as 'weaker'. He does not balk at killing and has on occasion even taken on work that bleeds more into the realm of the 'Crows of Antiva' then perhaps a common sell-sword.
Skill Set:
Veteran Endurance: Ehrhard is a long time campaigner and duelist and while his stamina is limited by his aging body and humanity it has been extended to its utmost. He does not tire easily nor quickly save perhaps during the most strenuous battles of attrition. This translates well into him wearing most types of heavy armor as he will not be overly encumbered by it and will retain most fluidity and ease of movement.
Expert Swordsmen: While given relatively little formal training during his stay within the Royal Army of his homeland he was given the basis upon which to expand his craft and during the decades that have followed he has built a utilitarian and precise form of combat all his own. While not quite as flashy as what rogues are capable of it is well suited to his profession and ensuring his own survival and ability to continue to fight. Also worth noting due to his immense strength he is capable of blows that would flatten or otherwise remove the limbs of most unarmored men with but a few swings of his great sword.
Survivalist: Having been raised in a land that would soon as see you dead as the Darkspawn and other corrupted beasts that roam its bounds he has built a formidable set of skills of surviving extended periods in wild and uncivilized areas. This has assisted immensely during his career as a mercenary as he is as capable of surviving a monster infested bog or haunted marsh as he is within any capital city of Thedas.
Shield Expert: While he is most fond of engaging foes with his two handed great blade upon occasion he will retrieve his shield from his back and use it along with his long sword. Like all other tools in his arsenal this is one he has studied intimately and fought with for years, which translates well into knowing the various stances and positions to employ the shield in to protect himself from anything to a stray bolt, arrow or blade.
Personal History: Ehrhard was raised as is Ander tradition to be a warrior. Dangers abound in his homeland, safety is never certain and this results in the people of the land being hard, accustomed to war and the assorted miseries of the world. One season upon his seventeenth year he was conscripted into the local garrison to purge a nest of bandits that had been plaguing the road to the capital from the outlying farms and during his expedition he proved himself despite the rather rudimentary equipment and training he was issued. In the aftermath he served for a number of years as a levy soldier for the Kingdom of the Anderfels, until he had finally acquired enough coin to afford proper equipment and whatever training he could purchase off the traveling mercenaries and what scant few knights and men at arms that would bother to teach a peasant.
However his time with the army would end when upon returning from nearly two full years of campaign against the various threats that plagued their land he found the vary homestead he had left all those years before along with his mother, father, two sisters and younger brother all slain by a pack of Darkspawn that had escaped from a battle with the Wardens less then a league away. With nothing left to him in the wastes of his homeland he forsook it, he would be a citizen of the world, of wherever a blade and a arm to wield it was needed. As long as they could pay naturally.
By the time he was twenty he was already enlisting in the various roaming mercenary bands that passed through the land of the Anders to either wars that raged north or south, during those years he fought everywhere from Orlais in the Grand Game of the Imperial Nobles to the never ending war between the Qunari and Imperium. The world as he put it after a particular bloody battle on the northern shores of Seheron "Is never lacking work for blades." Due to his experiences as a mercenary he has built up something of a reputation of willing to accept even the most foolhardy and even suicidal missions if the pay has proven right.
In his time he has fought Soldiers, Peasants, Darkspawn, Chevaliers, Hedge Mages, Qunari and even once along with a group of Templars an Abomination. Ultimately despite all his successes and even limited wealth he has always pursued the next challenge, the next war, the next opponent. This pursuit of finding equals and interesting opponents upon the battlefield drives him perhaps as much as the lure of gold does.

joruska.com/pics/var/resizes/Morrowind/2E_839_Cyrus.jpg Willis hails from Rivain where his father abandoned him before he was born. Willis' mother, a prostitute was pretty abusive towards him leaving Willis when he was six declaring that "she did not like the look of him." Willis spent most of his childhood in the Riviani docks doing odd jobs for various people. When he was 12, he was discovered by a Pirate: Captain Davis. Who took Willis under his wing and he spent the next four years at sea as a pirate. Willis killed his first man at 14 during an Pirate raid. When Willis was 16, he left the Pirate life and began to do mercenary work. One day he served as a guard for a Riviani seer while still doing mercenary on the side. For whatever reason, the seer treated Willis as a son and instilled wisdom in the Rivani. Two years later, the seer called Willis over and offered him a chance to become a Spirit Warrior IF he can pass a test. The seer had a coin, If Willis called it correctly three times. Then the seer will teach Willis the arcane. Three times, she flipped the coin and three times Willis answered correctly. True to her promise, the seer began training Willis as a Spirit Warrior. With his new powers, Willis travels the world in order to make money and escape his past. Willis is fairly cynical and sarcastic. He much rather stay away from politics and conflicts and focus on his job, that being said he does have a sense of right and wrong and will interfere if the poor and the downtrodden are threatened. Though a loner, Willis can work well with others.

Attachment Deleted![]() Age: 20 CHARACTER BUILD-UP General Appearance/Physical Appearance: A pretty woman fresh off her teens. Margret is around 5'5 with auburn hair which she wears in a ponytail and blue eyes. Margret loves dresses and wears a strapless, very low cut black and red dress which exposes a lot of her cleavage complete with a black and white neckwear, she also has a red belt and sliver chain with the Tevinter symbols around her waist. Additionally, Margret has youthful freckles, something she often got teased about when she was younger and tends to be a little touchy about them. Margret is known to have a lovely smile, to where it seems to cheer everyone around her up. She tries smile more often in order to distrustful people at ease. Attire: Personality: (1+ Paragraphs Please) Margret is the opposite of what you expect from a citizen of Tevinter. While the typical Tevinter citizen is proud to the point of arrogance and often displays a lust for power. Margret, is kind, virtuous and innocent person who expresses a desire to change the Tevinter Imperium. These attributes are in no doubt thanks to how she was raised by two loving parents who were ex-slaves and a progressive Tevinter Magister. However Margret was sheltered for most of her life, leaving her without much life experience and oblivious to the leers she receives by lustful men and women. That does not mean she's not aware of how good she has it compared to the slaves that make up the Imperium something that was stressed to Margret by her parents. She is also curious and enjoys spending most of her time trying out new spells or creating new potions.
