Name: Livia Whitestrake Race: Human Female Age: born in 9:10 Class: Templar/Reaver sword and shield Faction: Ex Knight-Commander of the Templar order and currently an adventurer wanderer Appearance: 5,11 feet tall, long blonde hair, blue eyes, she wears a custom Knight Commander armor (aka meredith armor from DA2) without the hood, so his long hair is visible and took out the chantry heraldry of the red part of her skirt and then changed the color of that part to match the color of the rest of the armor. Her sword and shield without heraldry too, below in the image. History/Background (Warning, huge wall of text, read it under your own risk, if you die, i'm not responsible) Born in the capital of Anderfels, Hossberg. Livia's father died in a darkspawn raid and Livia's mother died during giving birth to her. Raised by her aunt a former soldier in the king army. Her aunt teached to the girl the art of the sword to be available to defend by herself, showing a remarkable talent for it.
The blacksmith that lived close to Livia's house was a friend of the family and when Livia came to his smithy to repair some old weapons by her aunt request sometimes, Livia always stayed for a while to hear stories from old times, stories of the Grey Wardens and stories about her parents, her father was a former senior Grey Warden and her mother a Knight-Captain of the templar order, so the girl always got fascinated by it, admiring her parents and all the stories the blacksmith always told to her and sometimes the blacksmith even took the girl to the top of walls of the city, to show her Weisshaupt Fortress that could be seen in the horizon.
At the age of 7, Livia's aunt took her niece to Laysh, headquarters of the Templar Order in the Anderfels, during the journey she explained to her niece that she didn't have more time left as she contracted a death illness and would die soon, Livia's aunt knew that if she took her niece to Weisshaupt Fortress the girl could have a very short live as a Grey Warden because of the constant darkspawn thread in the country, so she took her to the templars to see if they would take her niece in exchange that the girl joined the order counting that her mother was a former templar in the past, as a first step.
When they arrived, Livia's aunt explained all to the Knight-Liutenant, and before accepting, Livia had to take a small test. She passed the test with an outstanding note, to the surprise of the templars present supervising the test and the order took her under his banner. Though the girl only did it because she had no choice as she was soon to be alone and with no one to take care of her, so she accepted and joined reluctantly, because she what truly wanted was to stay with her aunt until her final days, taking care of her, but her aunt refused.
In a time record at the age of 12, took her vigil and made her final vows to be a full templar.
During the years, in the battifeld showed natural leadership and a very talented skill with her sword and templar abilities, and a very strong, pragmatic open mind in matters, this last thing shaked some heads and didn't go unnoticed, but overall she gained the respect of his fellow templars, and was very admired person. When she turned 23 years old, took the responsability to be the leader of very punished Templar order during the years and was raised to Knight-Commander, very few achieve and want this position, because the responsabilties are incredible, and Anderfels it's not a forgiving land.
When the Mage-Templar war started, Livia took the decision to remain neutral, and focused only on her duties in The Anderfels, assisted refugees, welcomed a lot of Templars that didn't want to take part of the war and also assisted the Warden-Commander of Anderfels to maintain some manner of order in the kingdom and also letting conscript mages and templars alike that wanted to join the Grey Wardens to escape the brutal war.
After the Divine Conclave and the war ravaging through Thedas, even worst than before, Livia was summoned to the The White Spire in Val Royeaux the main headquarters of the Templar Order by the Knight-Vigilant orders, She was highly criticized by her actions and tilded them of unacceptable, some Orlesian Templars even calling her traitor and a heretic, she tried to defend herself, but didn't matter, she was expelled of the order and left Orlais in bad terms with the order and with the chantry.
With all Thedas in chaos, and with nothing left, seemed that was time to return to Hossberg and try do things on her own with the freedom of no bounds now that she was not part of the Templar order. To avoid getting trapped in warfare, she decided to travel to Nevarra, to then take the quickest route to Anderfels, but during her travels across Nevarra meet the famous dragon hunter Ferdinand Pentaghast fighting nonthing less that a huge high Dragon, fascinated by it, she asked him for training and surprisingly, Ferdinand took Livia to train her in the art known as Reaver, and after 8 months of training, learned how to use her new abilities, she remained with Ferdinad for a while longer, and then at some point parted ways, but with the promise to return and keep mastering her new powers, and hunt her first Dragon.
But Livia's adventures aren't finished, and still there are more to be told, sure people will know her during her trips.

@fallendark
I like what you did with the very tall lady, but I find it unrealistic that a pubescent 12 year old female would start taking Lyrium and performing Templar Duties in the land of Thedas. maybe some kind of Trial of Grasses angle, but that trial has an 80% death rate. Personally, I'd change the 7 to 12. The 12 to 18. and just leave her being Knight Commander at 23. It's unusual but not improbable.

It's unusual but not improbable. the 12 to 18 reminds me of Cullen, that got in the Templar Order very late in age by chantry standards as they usually take childs in younger ages, though i understand what you mean, though that's why i made her from Anderfels, because is the place of most hardened people of Thedas as they deal with Darkspawn and a very hard enviroment in daily basis and with a King that doesn't care of anything but himself and you have the leader of the Grey Wardens thinking to maybe take his place in the throne, to summarize a very sad and grim place, that one way or another forces you to toughen up. And that's why i maked her a bit of a "talented girl" too i suppose. But i completely get what you mean, anyway for the moment though i leave it as it is, but if i find that can bother me to much, or is to much unrealistic by people then i'll tweak it.

Name: Tefra Gender: Female Race: Dwarf Caste: Casteless/Surfacer Class: Rogue
Looks: Tefra usually sports a side bun for her red frizzy hair. She has brown upturned eyes to suit her round nose, face and body. Her days of being pale in Orzammer were over as soon as she reached the surface and she also has moles scattered around her face and body.
Bio: Tefra Billin is a 35 year old surfacer with a passion for cooking. People seem to admire her doting and driven nature and sweet muffins. She is willing to lend a bread or two to people who need it the most. She's willing to feed people her butter bread and muffins and offer a quick nap at her cozy inn in the Hinterlands. Tefra also knows her way with daggers and poison. Tefra tells people she learned all this for protection of her inn, which makes sense. Absent minded and quick to set off, strangers tend to be a bit put off with Tefra at first. But people closest to her knows she means well. What they know little about Tefra however, is her past in Orzammer.
Her Past In Orzammer: Tefra's family were a part of the servant caste in Orzammer. Her family has a long lineage of cooks and servants to the noble caste. The idea of serving food to the nobles did not trouble Tevra, but she still wanted more out of her life. She craved excitement. In her late teen years, Tefra started to get involved in the local carta to scratch that itch. Due to her luck and persistence, things were looking up for her within the carta. Her family and friends within her first life still had no clue what Tefra was up to. She liked it that way; Tefra preferred not to have her two lives collide. Eventually, her boss was pleased with Tefra's tenacity in intimidation and poison making and promised her a promotion as second in command. The boss hated his current second in command and figured Tefra could do better. Tefra was thrilled, but her boss told her in order to get promoted she has to do another job successfully: Find the crook who stole his treasured pet nug and dispose of him. Tevra eventually found the crook in the casteless neighborhood, but what the crook told Tefra surprised her a bit. Apparently her boss's second in command was behind the idea. The second in command emerged from the shadows and told Tefra that if she doesn't tell the boss that he dealt with the crook before she did he will kill her and her family. Tefra can still remember the smell of mania and alcohol coming from his breath. She knew he couldn't be dealt with, so Tefra knew she had to kill him and his fellow lackey. It was a bloody fight, but Tefra was victorious. During the battle, she was so caught up in adrenaline and rage that she did not notice another body witnessing the fight.
It was her mother. Once in a while, Tefra's mother stops by the casteless neighborhood to try and offer food to the many needy; she knew it was seen as a bit unseemly to the rest of her caste but she didn't care. What she witnessed before her very eyes shocked her to her core. Tevra can still remember her mother's anguished and betrayed stare piercing at her face. Tefra's mother declared at that moment that Tefra was no longer her daughter and if she did not leave at that very moment to go to the surface she will call the guards. Tefra tried pleading with her mother with tears but her mother grew even more cold and distant. Feeling incredibly guilty for the life she had lived and dejected, Tefra picked up her former boss's nug and set sail to the surface. A decade later Tefra lives a quiet life in a cozy inn, and she would rather keep it that way.

Also, I like the name Tefra, but I wasn't aware of the origins tbh. Now that I know, I will definitely incorporate this into her story/character, so thank you!

False Name: Marque du Montaine Real Name: Markham Barbus Born in 9:28 to an elven slave ( Sabina Barbus,) and a human father, Markham was raised lovingly by his mother in the small town of Asariel. His father made visits often enough that his son knew him, but he would always be a “mama’s boy.” When he was eight, it was finally time to send him away so that a chance at a noble life could be attempted in spite of his elven blood. Lady Montaine, an Orlesian Jewelry Artisan suspected merely that Markham was the bastard child of a man in her Tevinter social circle. She cared little for purity of blood but very much for the idea of having a child to her own, so took Markham on when the General asked. Any doubts she may have had were soon forgotten as she interacted with the well mannered charming boy. She pronounced herself the Guardian to poor “orphaned” Markham vouching for the papers he carried but also having him adopt her last name. The papers stated that he was the son of an orlesian apostate of noble blood who had fled to Tevinter from his home in the Western Hills. His “parents” had now perished, leaving him to find himself in her care. This papers made sure that Markham was eligible for any career options a young noble man could want upon entering adulthood, authenticity vouched for by the jewelry artisan, Lady Montaine. Lady Montaine promptly placed Markham into a boarding military focused academy she was a patroness of. This Academy was geared towards preparing young men to attempt joining the Cheveliers. Associated careers of that nature would be available if their skills weren’t up to par for achieving the Chevelier honor. His skills lay mostly in Sword and Shield, but shows promise with his dual weapon wielding and dual handed single weapon skills. He is bisexual, with a strong preference for men at this time. He had a short-term lover, of a sort, a neighbor of Lady Montaine's, over an Academy holiday. But they haven't spoken of it since. Lord Malecot, the Champion of the last Grand Tourney, and alumni of Markham’s academy, went to “the prize giving” at Markham’s military academy. Markham was near his 17th birthday. The Lord watched the boys demonstrate their martial prowess to him, after which he made the offer of 2nd squire to Markham as the most promising at the academy. Having already one squire from another Academy, he encouraged a bit of rivalry between them. Markham developed a crush on the other squire of Lord Malcot. It's not reciprocated. It is here, at approximately 18, that he attends the Grand Tourney. Tagging other players of the Grand Tourney Thread: gervaise21 warden TheHeroOfFerelden riverdaleswhiteflash

Lucius A. ScribonianusBorn in 9:19D to General Marcus and Lady Scribonianus He was fond of and spent time with his father until he manifested his own magic in early 9:28 at the age of 8 when he pushed his nanny out of his room during a tantrum with force magic. Between the fact that his education changed drastically, he didn’t have this in common with either of his parents, and the fact that his father seemed very distracted by other things in his life, he was distanced from the close relationship with his father he seemed he was on the path to having. His mother was ecstatic to join the ranks of the Laetan class and and to have a magically inclined son. Lucius gravitated towards her as his preferred parent. And so it was that he let his mother’s traditional beliefs and those of his new fellow mage friends form his opinions going forward about how the world should work. But especially how it should work for him. In 9:37, at age 18, he is formally introduced to his father’s slave, ( Arria Verisimo,). He is immediately taken in by her appearance, her way of carrying herself, her way of speaking, her singing voice. He wants her but cannot have her and dares not try. He hits every whorehouse catering to those with elven tastes over the next year, attempting to get her out of his system and mind. This fails and he doesn’t bother visiting any of them again. He attempts to court a few comely women of his class. This fails, and he doesn’t bother doing this again. And so, instead, he bides his time, not exactly sure what he’s waiting for. In 9:43, he decided at random that a body guard would be a good status symbol to have around. And purchases Zucca, a Tevinter born female human who has never known or desired freedom. He particularly desired her for her unarmed combat skills, and considers her appearance a bonus. Now his friends desire her and he won’t let them bed her, in spite of the fact that he has no particular interest himself in doing so either. She sleeps near his bedroom door at night, and never leaves his left side during the day. He’s patronless and dissatisfied with that. As a Laeten mage is unlikely to leave a mark without a Patron or focus of research to make them stand out from the crowd. This dissatisfaction led him to joining the Lucerni group, politically, and has connected him to Magister Dorian Pavus as a result. Recently engaged to a human noblewoman, another laetan class mage, he’s met exactly once. He sees no problem with this, he’ll do what his improve position demands of him. He doesn’t perform blood magic. Not for any ethical reason. It’s just uncomfortable and messy. He’s ambitious, but apparently not enough to get his hands dirty with sacrifice and murder. Perhaps the honor of his father rubbing off on him from childhood. Although by no means pleased with his father’s death in 9:45, he does see opportunity in it regarding his long standing desire for Arria. As part of the Lucerni party, Magister Pavus has sent him to the Grand Tourney to attempt to improve Nevarran Relations between the two countries. Lucius is happy to go, if anything to attempt avoid being ordered to the front of the Qunari War himself. Improved Nevarran relations is conducive to the secret task Dorian has also set him. So, Lucius arrives at the Grand Tourney with high expectations and Zucca at his side. Tagging other Grand Tourney Writers: gervaise21 riverdaleswhiteflash warden TheHeroOfFerelden

Zucca (no last name) Born 9:21D to a favored house slave, Mela, who was allowed to partner with their stable slave, Lavor to create her. It was more the community of slaves serving the Magister that raised her as a whole, however. She recalls the time as peaceful and full of busy work as she learned the tasks of a scullery maid, first, and then a hand maiden. Chosen to become a body guard for the lady of the house at age 16, she was put through vigorous unarmed combat training by a mysterious mute dwarf for two years. Shortly after her 18th birthday, both the Magister and Lady of house perished. She was told many stories; an assasination, it was the Qunari, they fell to a Darkspawn raid...She only knows for certain that they died and no one in power felt the need to clarify to the confused slaves of the estate. The slaves and the harmony of day to day chores was destroyed as the estate was broken up. Her “friends” and “family” sold in lots alongside the furniture. She was purchased by a rail thin bearded man by the name Insuratus, a colonel, but she was told to call him Master. She learned new tasks befitting her new station as a pleasure slave within his house. Honestly, she was relieved when he sold her at Market two years later. He’d grown tired of her and had been commenting on whether to sublet her out to a Pleasure House. She was sold and served simalarly for a Merchant by name of Marcet. Zucca had no problem with being owned, just with the sort of treatment she received from the new owners. She had been trained to be a body guard, skills honed, to protect a powerful woman, but had ended up being used for her looks by distasteful masters. Two years passed but again she was sold. Not because her master had grown tired of her, but because his new wife had grown jealous and shrilly demanded her removal. So it was she found herself once more in one of the “cleaner” pens awaiting her third round of potential buyers in 9:43 Dragon. Men and women of all sorts asking her to open her mouth and pose with a fan. Then...then there was Lucius A. Scribonianus. Lucius paid the Slave Merchant to bring someone who could spar with her. The thrill of the ring. The feel of tossing that man to the ground using the strength of her body alone. And when she looked up, there was Lucius, giving her applause. A nod. She felt pride. Something she’d been without for years. He outbid them all, and she was his.

MOLLY Personality:Molly is stubborn and strong-willed with her mother noting that she is her “fathers daughter.” Unlike her sisters, Molly does have somewhat of a violent streak. Whenever someone harms her or her family, she tends to give a no holds barred beatdown to the point where the victim is beaten bloody. This often caused a rift between her mother and sisters who were more "proper ladies" and she remained close with her father. Despite being envious of her mother and sisters for being more ladylike, Molly deeply cares for her mother and sisters and is determined to protect them at whatever the cost. Overall, Molly is a sweet and caring person who will risk her life to help the helpless, especially children. She admires friendship, but her volatile and stubborn personality may wear thin on those who are impatient. Molly enjoys training and getting into sparring matches in order to get stronger. She also likes cooking and sewing and finds painting to be relaxing, a trait she got from her mother much to her embarrassment. Molly is also interested in exploring the world and expanding her own horizons often reading about the lore of every nation and culture she encounters, but every now and then she thinks of her sisters and how she misses them. Molly considers herself a hopeless romantic and often dreams of wearing a pretty dress and finding a man who would sweep her off her feet, dance with her under the moonlight, shower her with romantic gestures and live happily ever after like the stories her youngest sister used to love. Unfortunately, with her heart broken by a man whom she loved once, Molly fell into despair and realized that no man would ever love her. Molly does still hope that her dream will come true someday though. Molly is a talented fighter, trained to fight by her father as a way to channel her violent tendencies towards those who harm her. Despite her lithe size, Molly is strong, capable of knocking her opponents twice her size out. Molly relies on speed and power to overwhelm her opponents and take them out. History:Molly is the oldest child of 3 sisters. Born in Denerim to a washerwoman mother and a city watch guard father. Molly spent most of her childhood playing with her sisters and assisting her mother with washing clothes for her clients. Molly had a very close relationship with her sisters. They would play hide and seek in the marketplace, wash clothes together and would sometimes sneak out to the forest and try to guess what type of bird is singing with the day ending with Molly reading to her sisters behind the oak tree about tales of knights and chivalry. When Molly was around 11 years old, she witnessed her middle sister being picked on and teased by a couple of boys around the Rundown Backstreet. Seeing her sister in tears enraged Molly to the point where she rushed in and began beating the boys senseless, knocking two of them out and gave one a fractured nose. When the parents of the boys complained, Molly and her mother got into a fierce argument over Molly's anger streak. Her father broke it off and decided that he would train her how to fight to better channel her anger. Molly gave a toothy grin but craned her head to see her sisters cowering in fear of her much to her dismay and horror. Molly enjoyed training with her father, she found out that she was a natural at fighting and even ended up beating him in sparring, though she knew that his father was holding back on her. Molly still helped her mother and sisters with washing the clothes and folding them for clients, but Molly noticed that they have become noticeably distant from her. Molly had started to play with her sisters less and even got into more arguments with her mother over her not being a proper lady. Molly attempted to say that she was still the same girl but while her sisters were somewhat receptive, her mother did not listen to her and as a result, she became closer to her father. When Molly was 15 years old, her father was wounded during an Elven riot at Denerim and needed his leg amputated. With the bulk of their income gone, Molly took it upon herself to find work and send money back home. Looking at the Chantry Board, Molly found a job that would take her out of Denerim. It was an escort job, that required someone with fighting experience. It was there that Molly decided to become a mercenary. When Molly informed her family of this decision, her father and sisters were saddened by this decision but supported Molly. Her mother remained cold to Molly and stayed silent. Before she left, Molly's father gave her two Veridum Daggers that he was meant to give to her before the riots. After a tearful goodbye, Molly headed on the road nervous but excited to see the world outside of Denerim. For the next four years, Molly found success in the Mercenary business. While she did take part in Mercenary companies, she was kicked off due to her getting into fights with her co-workers who try to grope her. Molly eventually decided to set off alone and found that it suited her. She would often send half of her pay to her family and would write pages of letters talking about her adventures on the road. Her sisters would write back, saying that they missed her and hoped she come back. Molly often keeps all the letters from her sisters in a small box and would spend all night re-reading them. Molly still hoped for a love life where she could start a family of her own. She thought she found love while working in Rivain she found a man named: Willis Reede. Willis was around 19 he was returning to Rivain after completing a job in Antiva. Along the way through, he had a case of Scurvy and by the time Willis reached port, the Scurvy got worse. So Molly who was in Rivain visiting her newlywed sister took care of the ailing Willis. The two became fast friends, with Molly developing feelings towards Willis. Although he was oblivious towards her feelings, Willis did enjoy Molly's company, showering her with gifts and taking her out to eat whenever Willis got paid. They got to know each other for about a year and a half until one night after a party, Willis got REALLY drunk and proposed to Molly. She tearfully said yes and hugged him tightly. Though when Willis recovered from his drunkenness, he told Molly that it was a mistake and he didn't want to marry her. The response broke Molly's heart and she beat Willis to a bloody pulp and left Rivain in tears.

Richard is never found without his lute, flute along with his pen and paper. Personality: A dreamer, a romanticist and a vociferous reader. Richard would much rather lean against the tree, take in the beauty of nature and then write poetry over the things that inspire him and talk his way out of a problem rather than fight earning the noble the nickname: The Bard Knight. Richard is an optimist and tries to see the good in people despite the circumstances. He also has a thirst for knowledge and adventure often traveling around Thedas to wherever the wind takes him. Richard enjoys singing, reading poetry he wrote and playing his lute. He loves going into taverns and telling tall tales and telling stories. As for his family, Richard cares deeply about all of them, though he there is tension between his father who constantly see him as a disappointment and Richard feels envy towards his brother because he is the son that his father wanted: a brave and powerful warrior while Richard is more passive and hesitant to fight. Richard is close to his mother and younger siblings though and would shower them with gifts when he returns from his adventures. Despite resisting the pressure by his father to become a warrior, Richard is a talented fighter who is trained in the art of shield and sword and horse combat. His fighting style is mostly defensive looking for any openings that his opponent might give away before cutting down in a quick and efficient manner. History: Richard Henry the Eighth is the second of six children to Richard Henry the Seventh and his wife Robin Bigge. To continue the family reputation of producing great warriors, Richards father forced he and his older brother forced them to train with the master at arms. Richards father tried to do the same for his daughters but his mother resisted much to his irritation. Richard and his brother: Mathias spent most of their childhood training as knights. However Richard found training dull and was more interested in books and the arts like his mother. He would sneak out of training and would read a book or come to his mother to learn instruments. His father would often yell at Richard for not being the warrior he was meant to become. Often pointing how lucky he was that he wasn’t in line to inherit the Henry castle or even to wield the ancestral weapon: Dragonsbane. It caused a rift between Richard and his father and even sparked an inferiority complex towards his brother for being the son that his father always wanted. Like many other nobles who were not first born, Richard was free from most of the responsibilities of continuing the family name and running the day to day activities of the Henry Castle allowing him to pursue his passions and pleasures. After being knighted at age 16, Richard left Ferleden to Oralis, at first going to its prestigious university to study World History, Music, Literature and Creative Writing. Studying there for about 3 years before leaving the university out of boredom and setting out on an adventure around which led him to tourneys, taverns, swordfights and love. Until one day he received a letter from his eldest sister, saying that he was betrothed to a woman he doesn’t even know arranged by his father in order to seal an allegiance. Enraged by his father actions, Richard ripped the letter to shreds and set out farther away from Ferleden only communicating with his mother and sisters. if you can’t see the pic, here’s a larger version of it:

As a result, Brandon was often neglected during his childhood his parents and servants grooming his older siblings to rule. He became very close with his older sister Séverine who would read him stories about the legend of the Chevaliers and how they would never retreat and never surrender. That to become a cheliver would earn the love of the Orlesian people. Sev's stories made Brandon determined to gain his parent's approval. At age 7 Brandon trained hard with Séverine who observed that Brandon was very talented with a sword and began investing more time with him. At age 13, Brandon dominated an Orlesian tourney with the Orlesian people showering him with praise and adoration. Sadly Brandon's success did not do much to gain his family's approval. Brandon's two older brothers received not only all of the attention but all the praise. A trace of bitterness began to form within Brandon as he slowly became convinced that he'll never his family's love. Sev attempted to soothe, Brandon's jealousy by saying that in time, the whole family would see Brandon as a great warrior but Brandon didn't want to hear it. Though Brandon and Sev traveled around Thedas where he would crush the competition, Brandon didn't hear a word from his parents. He would show them his winnings but they would brush him off still focusing on grooming his older brothers. It would only become worse when Brandon was 18 and was became a Chevlier, he realized that only Sev attended his knighting. Furious, Brandon returned to the estate and confronted his father who told Brandon that he had no worth contributing to the family other than becoming a soldier. Despondent, Brandon left his father but a fortnight later servants caught Brandon in his sleeping with two prostitutes. Over the years Brandon became a man who had a devil-may-care attitude towards life. He was an artist when it came to his swordsmanship something he was well aware of and was a womanizer often sleeping with any woman who comes at him. Brandon is bold to the point of being reckless, a talented commander and is not afraid to trade jabs with anyone. These jabs and scandals that Brandon commits made him an embarrassment to the family though Sev was the only one who saw through the facade and saw an insecure and bitter man inside. Sev worked hard to make sure there was always a sense of honor within Brandon, something he still carries today.
