We all need to figure out what is going to happen after Adeline and Enathaya partner up. My idea was that their skirmish with the rogue templars is seen by pirates, who need mages for a job they are planning. But it depends what the rest of you want your characters to do as well.

Here's the concept so far:
A Pirate Captain obsessed with restoring glory to the Pirates, makes a deal with a necromancer (Teventer magister), in turn the necromancer gifts the Pirate Captain a Giant Squid possessed by a demon and has them harass and destroy ships going in.

The Pirates will gain their own land which was lost to a Qunari assault due to the Pirates constantly harassing them. They'll also get technology from Tevinter to give them an edge in battle. In my story, a lot of pirates in fear of losing their way of life and were scattered because of the destruction of their safe haven turned to Tevinter who promised to rebuild their land if they sided with Tevinter in the upcoming war against the Qunari. Using the gift that was given to him, the Pirate Captain began harassing ships and most recently a port city. So not only he has a Giant Squid is possession but more items that he can summon like corpses or even demons. |

Go the tavern. That's going to be very unlikely for the char I made since she wouldn't set foot anywhere humans live / go nor does she need anything from them. Judging by the premise of the story, she'd have a very very minor role, if any. So it's likely this is one play the char will sit out / not participate.
Btw, using the word "technology" is jarring since DA is akin to a medieval setting; the word wouldn't have been coined yet. Maybe something more archaic? Just a suggestion, it needn't be taken up on.

I think smilesja is getting kind of excited and just wanting to run with something, but we should go with a story that lets everyone participate. All that's happening in the thread right now is Adeline and Enathaya meeting each other and joining up -- which has to happen no matter what, because they are going to be master and apprentice -- so we have some time to figure out where this story is going. |

You have set the villain, his goal / target, his devices. However, there is no location for the target. I have to presume it's off-shore, the borders do not conflict with the ally and would instead be a strategic staging area.
* why is it necessary to remove this villain
* who / what does he threaten that the chars must involve themselves
* what are the means of removing this villain. A journey perhaps? The route? To where? To whom?
* what benefits to the chars or to the people near this area that the chars will do this task
