I was not too sure about the japanese version but other than that, all the versions of precilla's song was amazing.

He's a massive douchebag. Editor's Note: This is not to disparage those who use vamping as a tool to help with quitting tobacco. LOL I was completely clueless what a Vape was and got even more confused when I googled and found out that it was E-cigerettes but I'm glad you clarified. I guess you learn something new everyday. I won't be too hard on myself though since I've never smoked a day in my life. I just have two questions. Why does a vape mean someone is a douchebag? And why do you think Geralt is a massive douchebag? I always found him pretty lovable tbh but different strokes for different folks and all that. Not trying to pick on you or anything this is just for my curiosity's sake.

It's essentially a meme at this point. As for Geralt, between the pony tail, the white hair(I understand the lore behind it, it's just... Blegh) and the general way he handles himself, he just rubs me the wrong way. I could be more specific if it hadn't been so long since I played the game, but it has been a while.

I just felt pretty old at not understanding what vamping and vape was......Or I could just be living under a rock, that might be a part of it. As for the white hair? I see it used so often in games and other media for some unknown reason that I'm starting to find it a bit overdone. Devil may cry series/final fantasy series/silver haired elves in middle earth/Geralt in the Witcher series/Fenris in DA2/Targaryens in GOT/Various Anime....but I also get used to a characters looks and I guess I would have a hard time picturing Geralt any other way.........plus I still find him pretty bangable. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to explain.

Patch is now out on Steam. Apparently, the OST for the 2 expansions are available for free in the extras folder in steam (if you own them). CDPR Edit: 3.9gb if anyone wonders

Haven't really played Blood and Wine yet, since I wanted to finish the novels first to get to know the Toussaint backstory, but I'm sure the music will be just as great.

I literally roamed around in the dark with a homemade submarine. Went through a wormhole and tried to help a seahorse and upgraded my claw. Now i kill the extra tough jellyfish with one hit.
Edit: Theres a mermaid behind a wall and i can't get there.

I keep hoping to find time to replay the Witcher trilogy, but it would probably take me several months to do it and I don't like to have playthroughs of too many different narrative-heavy games going at once.
For the TW3 expansions, would you all say it makes more sense to play them as standalones with my last (post-main quest ending) saves, or wait until I get back around to TW3 and play them in the middle of the story?

HoS can be played anytime you're able to since the way the story starts, B&W tho is clearly meant to be post ending and it shows, makes no sense at all to do B&W with the whole Ciri thing on-going.

B&W works best post main game. B&W can be started before the main game end, but it is high level and only has only minimal impact on the main game dialog. I would start from you last save, but be aware that both expansions are more difficult.

EDIT: Never mind I just found the place where I had to download them. Apparently I'm dumb.

Has anyone done any playing around with Ansel? I have GTX 980 Ti in SLI so can't try it out while in the middle of a gaming session (and don't have a huge amount of gaming time to begin with - children/wife/life etc) and was wondering what people think of it so far?

I have reservations about purchasing the complete edition of Witcher 3. Is it worth playing? I haven't played it yet so the price is really nice for what you get so that's not a problem
Is it worth your time for those you who played it? I got a hold to Witcher 2 360 disk and played it up to Flotsam hub. I got distracted by the mini games, lol. Dice, fist fights, arm wrestling. Making a good amount of coin.
I'll likely get it.. seems too good to pass up for my RPG thirst.
I guess the real question is.. should I finish 2? I am afraid that I'll suffer from series fatigue if that makes sense. I've already spoiled myself with reading up on 2 with the alternate paths, saving either or individual, Henselt, ect.
Would I miss out on anything special by skipping 2? Does the experience really impact your outlook on Witcher 3? I haven't spoiled myself with 3 and I'd love to jump on it tomorrow when I buy it rather than see it on my shelf whilst playing 2. Lol. My gaming time is like 2 hours a day if I push it. Or more if I choose less sleep or long night with the next day off.
Sorry for ranting about.
Btw, if you recommend finishing W2, which path should I take Iorveth or Roche's path from your experience? If I do continue, I'll likely only personally complete one PT.

Witcher 3 is significantly longer game than witcher 2 but imo thoroughly worth your time. Witcher 2 does not impact much on 3 at all. I would finish witcher 2, I preferred Iorveths path.
