I just loaded up DA2 for the first time in a few years a couple of days ago, and the DLC I own for it (Black Emporium, Exiled Prince, Legacy, and Mark of the Assassin) isn't showing up in game. I spent an hour in online chat with an EA rep who couldn't help, and eventually told me to post here because EA clearly was incapable of helping.
The DLC was still installed from the last time I played, but didn't show up in game, either in the DLC menu item off the main menu, or in game. If I view the "Available Content" from the DLC menu it shows all the available options, including the DLC I already have installed. I deleted and redownloaded them, to no effect. I also cleared the hard drive cache and redownloaded the latest patch.
After none of that worked, I went online and found the section of Dragon Age Keep that includes the DLC you've purchased. The DLC weren't listed as active for me, but I was able to request that they be verified and they were successful, but that still didn't show up in game.
It looks like at some point in the past few years Bioware/EA changed the way that they handle DLC authorization, and something in the transition means mine isn't working anymore. Anybody have any idea how I might rectify this?

I never played Da games on consoles. However, I do know that something happened with DLC authorization for Dragon Age games in the past years. I run into this issue after Windows 10 came out. I upgraded my computers then tried the clean install option, deleting my programs and games. When I tried to reinstall both DA:O and DA2 I run into the same problem you are describing. No DLC was authorized, even in the case of the DA:O Ultimate Edition, which is insane. Nothing helped. I purchased a Steam version of DA:O UE and it worked correctly (after a bit of tweaking). Then a few months ago I decided to try again. I installed both games from the original installers, including DLC`s (I purchased a DA2 and DA:O UE version from a 3`rd party online shop and saved the installers). Then I launched Origin and updated both games, and everything was authorized and worked fine.
One thing happened, though: my old Bioware account needed a password change in order to work. Try changing your Bioware password, reload the game and see what happens. It may be a corruption in the old Bioware database, and this is why you have encountered the DLC authorization issues. It`s possible that purchasing DA2 and the DLC`s was done with two different online shops. EA`s for the game and BW`s for the DLC`s. I have no idea if this will work ...

I had trouble with Windows 10 a few months back. For some reason, my games weren't showing up on Origin. I'd bought them, had played them before, but there was no record of them on my page. I chatted with someone at EA and they could see my games on my page on their computer, but there was no sign of them on mine. So because they knew I'd already paid for the games in questions, they sent me new downloads which had all the DLC I'd purchased. So it might be something to do with Windows or the Origin client.
