I was thinking, in my new "mage world" playthrough, to let Isolde die, then make a deal with the demon, and then kill Jowan (either myself or let Eamon do it)... But it seems to be such an ass since my Surana is usually a good person, lol.
I miss this kind of player cruelty in Inquisition, though.

I actually ignore the 3rd option in most of my playthroughs, i feel like it makes for a much more interesting decision when you have to pick between killing Connor or Isolde. I would kill Isolde and not feel much about it; she brought it upon herself, is what I think. MYSELF, YESH. any other post of myself i agree with.

Well, she too was hiding stuff from her husband. I know she wanted her son to be free, but there were other ways for that. It was really a though issue, because in that situation there were many people responsible, not just one person. And as I said, it was just accidental. I was considering Jowan's offer... just wanted to check the Arl, lol As for Jowan, he was executed by Eamon (poor man). Alistair wasn't happy, either. But I bought his forgiveness with rare stuff and some gift bones Dante (dog) didn't needed, lol It was never about her son being free. She wanted him not to stain her reputation before society, which required him not to be revealed as a mage.

Yeah but Isolde was stupid. I'd rather have her head than her son's for her stupidity...

I always do the Circle workaround even though I know it's a ridiculous stretch.
The other options just suck too much.
I'll admit though that in my first few playthroughs I had Jowan do the blood ritual which is a pretty stupid thing to do unless you're a mage who was friends with him at the Circle. Otherwise you're trusting an unknown blood mage prisoner to power himself up by blood sacrificing Isolde and not brutally murdering you and everyone else in an attempt to gain his freedom.

Yeah, the most practical solution is to kill Connor and then execute Jowan. But really, that option sucks.

I never killed Connor. What happens if you kill him or drain Isolde of her blood to enter the Fade? What are the reactions if any?

My warrior accidentally killed him, and I didn't reload: I thought it's okay, accidents happen, cruel world... so: Isolde cried. And because of this was not a "decision", only they met with him in the room, so to kill him was forced, I don't remember, the approval changed (but perhaps I'm wrong). Later we saw the funeral scene. But I found a video, where Alistair confront with the warden about killing Connor:

Wow! I never seen Alistair that angry. I too accidently walked towards Eamons room and Connor attacked, but something told me to reload. But after seeing this video I'm glad I did. Also thanks to this video I now know Alistair would have preferred for Isolde to get drained. When I do a mage playthrough, I will let Jowan drain her. Since my Cousland curious and inquisitive, he looked for alternatives to the situation, even though he did not like Isolde for what she made Alistair go through when he was younger. Thank you for the clip and reply.
