Origin says I played the game 315 hours, so about 60 for the singleplayer and thus about 250 hours in MP.

Less than 3. Fully expected to devote years of my life to it like ME3MP. Yeah..... It's one of those games that isn't really that fun in the beginning. You definitely need to spend some time in it before it becomes fun and you can get new characters, weapons, and armor. When I first started this game, I played a few rounds, didn't really like it because I was so weak, turned it off, and didn't play it again for a few weeks. By chance I gave it another try. Then it started to become more fun and the grind commenced. Now, when you're more powerful and have good items, it's more fun I think. |

About 600 hours. The feeling that the first 200h was longer than the last 400h only shows that the biggest issue is how hard is to start on it and how unfriendly it is for starters even for those who played the SP campaing. You just start doing tons of routine missions that fails all the time with very litter progression. You can try to sneak on harder difficulties to progress and get a bad fame of a "leecher" or become a pet that watches his friend playing from the fade which is not fun too.

Yeah, BioWare SERIOUSLY dropped the ball on the start of the MP. Every match is punishing early on (especially if you're stuck soloing, or at best, duoing with a PUG). It's OK once you get started, but the start is really shitty.

That's largely due to the fact that they no longer support it, because at the start (and most of us remember this) there were weekend challenges which rewarded you with something useful. Now without the weekend events, it's a grind. I know, I started a new account to see how real the grind really was. Silly me  |
