A no moaning, bitching, complaining, attacking people thread?

Complaining about complaints is unproductive

There could be more features to the ignore button, like a hide specific thread and/or hide posts containing specific words or phrases (that would be so ultra useful it would be unreal ), and I think some other things might be good to make sure that people can just have like ordinary conversations instead of the stuff listed in the thread title because there is a LOT of those things here, the ignore button hides the bad and the good and doesnt stop people quoting them, so I generally dont use it... but equally, if you went around ignoring everyone who did the things in the thread title, youd be looking at like 20+ people probably, and thats like a significant amount of people to not be able to see... I definitely think more could be done to make sure that people who just want ordinary conversations can have them... not sure what exactly, but its generally something I dont like about this forum so much haha

Im totally happy with different views being expressed, that I have no problem with... but when toxicity starts to affect peoples enjoyment of the forum and interfere with otherwise enjoyable conversations, its equally important to make sure that like... normality can still happen I guess

Not exactly sure what kind of solution there would be to this... there might not even be one, but I think the greatest flaw in this forum is the balance between the inflammatory, abrasive people who generally do everything in the thread title and the ordinary posters who just want to talk about the things they love and have a nice time... there are some improvements that could be made for sure... but what they are I have no idea

I just joined this forum and I'm already thinking about leaving because of the negativity and ignorance I've received from people. I asked if anyone knew whether or not Bioware planned on making Suvi Available to romance for male Ryder in future updates and shortly after received nothing but insults and hate responses claiming that I was homophobic. That's not constructive,informative or appropriate.
