I'm thinking about replaying DA2 once again. My character is going to be dual-wielding rogue. Like most players, I'm very frustrated when I can't pick a lock and loot every single chest I see. Sadly, I don't remember scores and difficulty of locks in different acts.
So I'd like to ask - what are the cunning scores necessary to open every chest/disarm trap in Act 1 and Act 2?

Te max what you need all chests is 40 (include Act3), if I remember correctly.

Yes, I know. I'm just curious what type of chests is the hardest during the first and the second Act (in order to plan my character build... it would be nice to have 40 cunning as soon as possible, but if, lets say, the hardest chest in Act 1 required only 20 points, I might spend remaining points in other abilities).

I found this: "10 for simple, 20 for standard, 30 for complex, and 40 for master level locks and traps."

Well I know. I think master chests can be found only in Act 3 (but during that time, I'll probably have some equipment with picking locks bonus), but I don't know whether or not is there, let's say, a complex chest (requiring 30 cunning) in Act 1. Nevermind, I'll found out.

Nevermind, I'll found out. Might be a bit late but I'm pretty sure there are master chests in every Act. They are definitely around by Act 2. Even worse, one of the Act 2 master chests actually requires 50 cunning. The good news is that there are a few accessories that can give you a bonus to lock picking, which is the equivalent of having an extra 10 cunning. I suggest you get cunning to 30 in Act 1 and then raise it to 40 in Act 2, while keeping one bonus to lock picking accessory in your inventory. I'm pretty sure you can access a ring for this pretty early in the game.
