Q about whether you can spec as an archer

"One of the skill trees for Rogues is more focused on ranged combat, and it's pretty viable to go almost pure ranged (honestly maybe a bit OP at the moment 😛 )"

Q can you choose your pronouns?

"Yes, you can!"

Q about whether we'll use the keep

"Setting your previous world state is fully integrated into the character creator for Veilguard, you can also customize your Inquisitor if you are so inclined."

Q can you transfer your Inquisitor's appearance from dai to DATV?

"It's unfortunately been a long time, there's not really a good way for us to be able to do this. So as part of character creator you can re-create your Inquisitor character appearance. 🙂"

Q when will preorders be available?

"I don't have any concrete dates on preorders, sorry!"

"You'll see some familiar faces for sure 🙂"

Q about whether there are class/race/faction restrictions, can they play a grey Warden qunari?

"Classes are not restricted, you can play any class, lineage and faction combo you want."
"Dwarves can't use magic*!

Q "Will we be able to create our characters early to be able to import them into the game like many other titles that does this? Or will we have to wait for the full release? If people preorder do we get early access to the game?"

Q Will HUD be configurable?

"Not everything, but there are a bunch of different interface options you can play with - so things like when to display health bars, combat text size, opacity, etc"
"To be clear, you can't go crazy - but there are a bunch of options if you want fewer things on screen or some alternate ways of having some elements activate 🙂"

Q can i play with just HDD or do i need a SSD drive?

"You can play using an HDD, we would recommend an SSD for an optimal experience though. 🙂"

"Veilguard is about 9 years after the events of DA:I"

"9-10 years from DA:I and about 8 years from Trespasser."

"I think it will come down to your personal preference! I play on KB+M, but using a controller also feels good too! 🙂"

"Yes, your follower information will be visible on the HUD (cooldowns, health, etc)"

Q do we have to use the ability wheel or can we keybind our abilities?

"There is a "quick cast" option if you prefer not to use the wheel, should be a chorded action using a controller."

"Yes, we will!"

Q how does the cc compare to dragons dogma 2?

"I mean... I'm biased, I like ours better? 😛"

"It's coming! Nothing we can say just yet though. Once the store pages launch it should have the info you're looking for. 🙂"

"There sure is!"

Q: "Will Dragon Age: The Veilguard fill us in on the events and information of the books and comics that are relevant to the game? (Figured I'd ask again since it's been a day)"

Bioware_Corinne: "When relevant to the story, the right amount of information is given. There are also some references. If you want to go deep, I'd still pick up the books and comics as they are wonderful. We are not assuming you've read them though."

Q: "do we have any information on difficulty? easy normal hard nightmare? is there additional difficulty ie trials? trial rewards?"

Bioware_Corinne: "5 difficulty presets + the ability to make a custom difficulty preset, adjusting things like timing and damage. Everyone should be able to find an experience that suits them."

Q: "My only concern about this is reducing XP for doing that. I know MLB the show does it if you adjust settings.

Hoping Bioware doesn't"

Bioware_Corinne: "Difficulty selection or modification does not affect XP or Progression rates. We just want you to play in the best, most comfortable, way you select for yourself."
