Just started a new MEA playthrough on my Xbox One. Will be starting my next one once I've finished ME3. Should be starting my latest run of ME3 today given I'm doing Legion's loyalty quest now and all I have left is the fina lmission after that. As I did the IFF mission earlier on today so I'm pretty much done on this ME2 playthrough.

After taking a break from MEA, I have started a new Scott Ryder playthrough on hardcore to go alongside my ongoing insanity run with Sara. This time I'm going with the Technician profile and using the default name: I haven't really paid attention but I think I've heard at least Lexi call him Scott.
On Habitat 7 it occurred for me to try what happens if I go over the wall where we meet Alec Ryder if we haven't yet rendezvoused with Cora and others. I was pleasantly surprised when I got dialogue from Liam warning me that this was dangerous and we shouldn't be here, and so we had to exit by opening a tunnel at the corner of the map. I also really, really wish we could save whenever we want during priority missions: there have been quite a few times (despite me taking the time to think through my answer) when I've managed hit the exact same response option (when four are available) for the third time in a row and been unable to backtrack. Whyy... On a more positive note, I've gotten Eos to 80% and Havarl to 100% (with some leftover quests) and have started Voeld (instead of going to rescue Moshae ). With the last of my strike teams, Lima, reaching level 20, I also capped out strike teams. For curiosity's sake, I tried giving some my of teams those specialised IV +40 bonuses, but since they dropped the teams' efficiency in gold missions, I'm thinking of buying them back those INT +20 bonuses that cost 250 mission funds a piece. On Havarl one new thing I learned was that Remnant devices you need to collect for a task emit a glowing pulse around them. The first time around I think I just stumbled on them and would have happily passed some of them by if not for that pinging sound. I also had to leave a Remnant Destroyer alive in that chamber that leads to the vault holding (I think?) Zorai's glove. I didn't have good enough guns or gear with me and that machine was literally blasting walls (and me) to pieces, so I resolved go around it and come back for it later.
As my most recent gaming hours have been spent listening Jaal talk with other members of the team, I've been thinking about the connection between a person's voice and appearance. I remember reading comments that he has too old sounding ("grandfatherly") voice for someone in their late twenties. So should a 28-year-old Angaran, Krogan or Salarian sound the same as a 28-year-old human? At what point do voices get too bizarre for our palate? Or was the above-mentioned complaint only an issue due to Jaal being romanceable? To end this post with speculation: at the end of my gaming session, I picked the quest concerning yevara poachers and heard an NPC mention that according to Angaran stories a yevara's song can coach the sun from hiding and reveal the stars. Now I am left wondering what would happen if one were to play yevaras' song to a Remnant star map. Here's a picture of my 3rd Ryder:

Yeah sometimes if you stick wit hth edefaul tnames of Scott and Sara your companions will use it. Just started my latest one as well tonight as I finished ME3 earlier. I've only done Habitat 7 so far but I'm looking forward to playing my biotically charged Sara or Nadine as I'm calling her as I'm planning her to be mostly an Adept type Ryder but she's already given the Kett a few flying lessons. killed a couple with her biotic shield as well as I'm using the Backlash power as one of my main powers this time along with Pull and Shockwave. Must admit though the ydid a great job with the biotics in this game as I love using these abilities in MEA

The collectible data cores I always found pretty noticeable as the have that static electric glowing effect around them. My first time through I thought they were a pain to find but there are actually heaps of them, I end up collecting heaps more than you need. My problem with Jaal's voice is it isn't consistent which I find distracting more than anything else.

So finally got some time o play lat two days, did more Kadara stuff, helped Kaetus and Sloane, did lots of bits and pieces and just have Reyes/Zia to do plus set-up outpost and help Sloane not die. Oh returned Nakomotos formula as well and din't spoke the weed on the SOS mission. Then headed back to The Nexus and did Sabers, Contagion and picked up Drack's Spender/ quest on Kadara. Helped Crux Another character I really enjoy killing Note to self watch out for turrets Killing Destoyers is fun

Yeah turrets can be rather nasty. Just made to Aya and said hello to the Angara and picked up Jaal myself. Now the story really can begin as that's when for me is when MEA really starts to take off. I actually loved the beginning of the game. I thought the start and Habitat 7 were pretty epic and set the scene for the game. Getting to Aya is great but going to Havarl and Voeld particularly the first was time so amazing, replaying the game that stuff arriving at Ays is just a bit of a chore. I loved how the the start just launched you into the unknown and some great combat, new enemies and exploring that first map was awesome.

Yeah turrets can be rather nasty. Just made to Aya and said hello to the Angara and picked up Jaal myself. Now the story really can begin as that's when for me is when MEA really starts to take off. I actually loved the beginning of the game. I thought the start and Habitat 7 were pretty epic and set the scene for the game. Getting to Aya is great but going to Havarl and Voeld particularly the first was time so amazing, replaying the game that stuff arriving at Ays is just a bit of a chore. I loved how the the start just launched you into the unknown and some great combat, new enemies and exploring that first map was awesome. Yeah I enjoyed Habitat 7 too as I enjoy allof it I just meant in terms of story the gam edoesn't fully kick off until after you've met with the Angara and recruited Jaal to the team because it's then you start to realise or our characters do how much of an asskicking these Kett need.

So brief update, completed all the Kadara stuff except the random things because after four attempts of leaving Kadara and coming back they just were not generating at all. Installed Sloane as leader, still doesn't sit right with me and I hate Evfra's and The Moshae's response when you return to Aya. Speaking of which, did some running around the cluster doing ZK Tracker stuff Sabers stuff, went to EOS for PB and to talk to a million people there, headed to the Nexus and did stuff there including not killing Knight and then back to Aya to do running around stuff. Why can't you punch Sorvis Len???? Next off to do Cora's LM and then off to Elaaden. Saved Knight Killed Zia Saved Aunty Ruth Saved Sloane Regretting it already Killed the Architect, why can't you keep it as a pet!!!!!

So got more done in MEA, headed to EOS to investigate the signal for Bradley, bumped into my old mate Danny and recued him AGAIN and look forward to seeing him on Elaaden even though he says he's going to Kadara. Then took care of The Roekaar, they are a couple of difficult fights on Insanity especially with all the sharpshooters they seem to have and it didn't help that Jaal just stood around doing nothing and yelling there was a Hydra!!!! Thought I'd stuffed it as when I got back to Havarl I hit "E" to interact with the shop woman Coy or whatever her name is just as the message about Jaals loyalty increasing popped up and it locked the screen. Was OK after I restarted though. Then headed off to Elaaden but didn't start any missions. So got more done in MEA, headed to EOS to investigate the signal for Bradley, bumped into my old mate Danny and recued him AGAIN and look forward to seeing him on Elaaden even though he says he's going to Kadara. Then took care of The Roekaar, they are a couple of difficult fights on Insanity especially with all the sharpshooters they seem to have and it didn't help that Jaal just stood around doing nothing and yelling there was a Hydra!!!! Still got Peebee's ques tto d obut at least Nadine's little brother is awake whic hNdaine is totally relieved about given after losing Da dshe didn't wantto lose her little bro as well.

After starting a new playthrough for DA:I to get the platinum that has so far eluded me, I quickly abandoned it and did this instead: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Liam the Joker already out there winking, doofus. 11. 12. Pleased with how Sara looks. Would date if she were real.

Well I started a new playthrough today with a new Sara got all the way through habitat 7 until I got to the last fight and died during the fight but because my gold old autosave system wasn't working I am going to have to replay all of habitat 7 again.

Anyway, I did some quests and leveled up to level 20, crafted my gear (Remnant Heritage Chest, Heleus Helmet, Angaran legs and arms) and now, even though I'm not sure what I'm gonna do next, I'll probably kill kett. Choice is between one of the two available bases or recueing the Moshae

Yeah that last bit where w ehave to cover Dad can be quite tricky I die there a fwe times as well. In fact I think I di dlas ttim eout as well when doing that mission. It's usuall ythose damn dogs that do it to me.

Sorry to hear that. I wonder why your autosaves weren't working? One way to check before you get to those last couple of battles is to exit the game and then see where it reloads you. A common place for an autosave for me is when I discover the tree in the cave. I think I usually get another when I"m inside the lab. There is usually an autosave just after you and dad jump down to start that last battle as well.
