All I know is Dragon Age The Last Court. It was awesome. Oh, I didn't know that! For some reason I never played TLC, even though I remember reading about it in the old thread. It's still available at the DAK website, so I might give it a try. I'm quite interested about the new influx of writers into DA franchise, particularly if they are good. And obviously he already worked within the setting. Also, it's been almost 2 years since dai. I wonder when will they start teasing da6. Looking at MEA campaign, I wouldn't count at much info until just before release but still...

I'd have liked to have seen more tie-ins to Serault in DAI as well, between the intrigue and quirky characters from Last Court, they could have gotten a really nice war table chain out of it. Wasn't Morrigan's new Eluvian either acquired or repaired in Serault? Could have been worthy of a mention in the game proper, as the Inquisitor doesn't bother to ask where she happened to find it, something I definitely would have if I met someone with a magic mirror. Inquisitor: Morrigan, I was wondering...? Morrigan: Wherever did I acquired such a strange and rare item? Inquisitor: Well yes, that too. But mostly I wondered how did you get that giant mirror through such a tiny door? LOL OMG that would've been perfect! Ah, missed opportunities.

Are we talking about The Last Court card game? Meanie, your avatar! I seem to have developed this odd obsession with weird chicken pictures. Then I stumbled upon this "birds with arms" link and the rest is history. Enjoy: www.eatliver.com/birds-with-human-arms/

Now that's an argument for saving the mages. Save the mages, save your back. Start up a moving company consisting of spellcasters wearing those back stabilizing belts and always being undertipped!

If they give us a great game with a nice deep and detailed story then I can absolutely wait a few years. Fill in all those long ass holes with empty trekking and no banter. Make one of our companions a hair stylist from Orlais. Who knows? Maybe we'll get lucky and get another survey leak in the mean time.

A rogue, of course, whose banter in a fight is scolding the enemy for their poorly cut hair and unfashionable clothing...

After Fallout 4 I don't mind bouffant hairstyle... Megaton coiffure anyone? Wheey, good news about some da4 indirect news! Anybody knows Alexis Kennedy and his writing style? Never played his games and such. Also, I see that Cullen's thread 2.0 is on fexelea. =) All I know is Dragon Age The Last Court. It was awesome. Haven't tried that mini game yet.

Wait a sec...Vivienne and Dorian did that for us! Oh yeah, you meant the enemies. Random thought: if Vivienne took it upon herself to change the Inquisitor's wardrobe to look like hers as passive aggressive revenge, I'd have ticked her off every single time just for better looking clothes.

Yes, I very carefully said the enemy's I'd actually kind of like to see a character whose public identity was something like hairdresser, barber, or tailor but was actually a master spy or the master of a thieves' ring (didn't Deep Space 9 sort of use that one with Garak?) People are bored while having their hair done, face shaved, or clothes fitted. And if my childhood memories are right, anyone who wanted to know all the inside gossip on, say, my church would want to be one of the barbers or hairdressers where the members went. Especially if they were also a member of the church or a group of them came in regularly at about the same time (my mother and her friends would make appointments together so they could talk under the hair dryers which used to take half an hour in the days of bouffants... ) It wouldn't work for rich members of the court as well; they'd have their own personal servant who did this, but the less wealthy or lower ranked...

That's a pretty neat idea! I think it'd still work for getting dirt on the wealthy as well since their servants may still need a hairdresser themselves. They could tell the spy everything that's annoying about the noble's nitpicky nature, whether they're particularly worried about looking fancy because they're in bad odour with the empress, or whether they have stomach upsets and don't want the corset too tight.

Talking of spies, it always made zero sense to me how the Bards can be so successful in the DA universe, when we've seen from Masked Empire that anyone who knows what to look for can spot them, due to how they've been trained to control their vocal inflections and keep their facial movements passive to not give anything away. Combine that with how open bards often seem to be about their job in Orlesian society, how they can remain hidden long enough to spy on their targets makes very little sense? Wouldn't it be far better for spies to instead train themselves to easily adopt false tells and the odd vocal and facial slip that will throw off anyone trying to read them? Thus making the other person think that they've revealed something when in actuality, they're now certain that something meaningless was something important the spy wanted concealed?

And I just noticed the headphones in the final panel The situation didn't occur to me b/c I live alone, but hell I turn off even REGULAR video games when I know people are coming over. I know I should wave my geek flag proudly but, oh well >.> Yeah, I've rarely had to worry either, even though I've only lived alone for the past year or so. My daughters weren't a problem for me; they were the ones who introduced me to BW games in the first place (my oldest daughter used Zevran to lure me in to DA, so they know me pretty well.) And I have a few gaming friends who I've played SWtOR with (though those romances are mostly pretty PG...even if dark Jaesa pushes the line a bit.) It starts getting odder with gaming friends who don't RPG, so they don't get the attraction of the stories. And the non-gamers and most of the rest of my family...no. Even though some of them read stacks of romances and love romance movies, they wouldn't get actually RPing a romance, etc. I even change my computer backgrounds when anyone other than my daughters and their friends are coming over...
