Dorian becomes pretty defensive about slavery every time I talk to him about it, but then again I always play Lavellans and they always pick at him on that point (understandable). I believe his response is something along the lines of, well you guys have alienages and that's just as bad! Which is great, honestly, because I love flawed characters (hello, DA2 Cullen... NOT "Mr. Perfect" version of DAI, sigh). I just wish the DA writers would push these characters to the fruition of their arcs. Like Fenris with mages. You can kind of imagine him beginning to accept and not fear mages so much, but the writing barely supports this. At best you have the fact that he may be romantically involved with a mage Hawke (although being in a sexual relationship for Fenris always has the potential to be problematic, considering his background) and then some comment he makes to Sebastian about refusing to turn in the mages in their party.

Yeah, it's amazing how those issues can continue.  

On flashfic, cool! I don't know what the prompt could be, but something super short I thought could be fun. 

Like: 

- One sentence stories about something that happened between the end of the main campaign and Trespasser? 

or 

- 100 word stories about your PC's summer vacation (Warden or Hawke or IQ) ? 

or 

- 100 word story on one of the following prompts ?

I just think it would be interesting if Fenris and Dorian had a past. What if Fenris/Leto's family had been house slaves to Dorian's family and he and Dorian grew up together, but it was his relationship/romance with Dorian that caused him to be sold to Danarius, his family thrown out on the streets and Dorian's parents hell bent on finding Dorian a wife. Fenris, because of the lyrium ritual doesn't remember his relationship with Dorian and Dorian is still in love with him.

With all the Rylen love flowing from these pages, you peeps need to spend some time in MP then.

Are you asking for a prompt, or asking who'd like to write on a shared prompt? I might be able to do something that short right now, but as for ideas, I'm a bit numb at the moment...

Everyone just writes their own thing, prompted by the prompt. Whatever it ends up being.

Going in another direction and because I'm curious, Cullen/circle mage most popular pairing here or nay? I only romanced him once and it was with this pairing, enjoyed it. My sister romanced him with an elven archer after Solas broke her heart, she was mad.
