Crafting is so expensive I kinda dont want to spend all respources on Remnant glove for melee if it's worse than "basic" omniblade or biotic punch melee. So did anyone try it yet?

The asari sword works almost exactly like the Slayer's heavy melee in ME3: it will lock on to enemies within a few meters and can teleport you through most solid objects to get to them. I'd recommend it over any other melee weapon I've tried.

Just picked it up. Cant use it yet because Its one of THOSE missions, but its autosaved in my inventory so I will equip it when I can.

The Remnant Cryo-Gauntlet is the one melee weapon I'm using right now, and it can instantly freeze health enemies, along with priming them for Cryo Combos which, when combined with detonator powers, can deal extra damage which is nice.

Research it in the Milky Way tab.

It really is awesome. It homes in on enemies, has very good range, and you are invulnerable for most of the animation. Only downside is that I think it's basically the slowest attacking weapon due to the fancy animation, so it's not good DPS.

Got a Krogan Hammer 1 from a Gold Strike Team item reward. 400 dam and works like the heavy melee of the ME3 MP Krogan doing a big smash to the ground.

The asari sword is truly the best and defienetly worth crafting. Especially if you are playing as a vanguard

I crafted an Asari sword and haven't looked back. I tried the Kett blade, but the Asari sword has higher damage, and the teleport is just badass.

I don't melee that much, so which melee weapon I use doesn't matter a whole lot. I've used the Asari sword, the cryo gauntlet, the Krogan hammer, the Omni blade (duh) and the Biotic punch, though, testing everything out.

I gotta say that I prefer the Biotic punch with the cryo gauntlet coming in a close second. Neither of these are for the damage you do when going Chuck Noris on some fools, but the Biotic punch staggers and the Cryo gauntlet freezes. Some decent utility, as far as I'm concerned.
