I remember playing PONG, the number one video game in history , when it first came out. Lots of fun. Since that time I played some, but it wasn't until I retired over 7 years ago that I starting playing a lot.

My eyes were full of wonder and my imagination full of possibilities!

You people terrify me. I'm only halfway through my 20's, and I'm terrified of 30.
Then again, I was terrified of turning 30 when I was 22.

Ah... I loaded all my games from those for about eight years... (Not the pen!) Winding the damn thing back, etc with the pen when the cassette player broke. I only put this on when I was on the bus, never when I was walking on the road. Seeing colours on the tv for the first time which had doors btw to enclose it when it's off. The first thing I saw was Disney's Wonderful World of Colour opening sequence.

Ah...I am well above the limit at 48! I played video games in arcades in shopping malls in the 70's and 80's and then I did not care about video games at all until I had a herniated disc in 2010 and discovered, while out of work, this: Then this hit... Now I am sucked in.

There is a down side with aging. Aches and pains in your bones and joints for no reason. It's like; "What the hell!! I haven't done anything, where did that pain come from?!!!"

Winding the damn thing back, etc with the pen when the cassette player broke. Or just tightening the slack that inevitably built up over time...

But it can be countered by doing strength training. Not to make yourself look big, but to keep your muscle and bones strong. Today you see lots of older folks walking around their neignborhood, the shopping mall and parks. One of the biggest things is that it prevents injuries, at least minor ones.

Exercise is a must. Not necessarily the go all in I'm going to be an Olympian exercise but a form of movement everyday. Be it walking, running, gardening, something. Just move. Even with arthritis the recommendation is to stretch, move.

And its a lot more colorful to.

I'm from Vancouver. We have a ferry system along the coast. The ferries game area included arcade games including Pong, Asteroids, Centepedes, Space Invaders, and others. Good times.

I know that cassette thing as a child in 90s. Pick older stuff to exclude us! That's an illusion. A PC as a whole dies every 5-12 years... can't live more! A song for you oldies:

First Bioware game: Baldur's Gate First MMO: Dark Age of Camelot over a hilariously tiny internet connection I had records. RECORDS. I used phones with CORDS. There is still a tape collection somewhere in some abandoned, dusty room. I guess I've lived a while. Mostly, though, I live inside other people's fantasy worlds.

I exercise 30 minutes a day. Cardio and strength training. 8 glasses of water a day and my wife's got me on a adjusted Paleo diet. Still have stupid aches and pains.
