I don't get this thread. Why would you preserve your farts for 40 years? #sorrynotsorry Oh dear, I took the title to mean it was for those people able to store 40+ farts at a time... Excuse me a moment, I'm a little uncomfortable and I'll be back shortly... *begins to become impatient*

Yep, just another old geezer when I can remember this. I remember that show. Then Shazam played right after it and they did ISIS/Shazam crossovers.

Found these. Some of the shows I've never seen at all. Yeah how much time did one get back in those days to watch tv with the parents yelling; homework!?

Ok, since we're making jokes about old farts.... Almost exactly 30 years ago to the day, I was a competitor in the 800m for our high school Conference track meet. I was expected to place, but not be on the podium - there were seniors from other schools and I had not performed well at the earlier indoor (it's cold in Wisconsin in March) conference meet. I felt good that day, and was under no pressure. The starting gun fired, and I was off.... To a farting start! Every stride, for the first 80m or so, I farted a little popper. Just a cracker, really! I couldn't help myself, I laughed out loud. Then I composed myself and got my head back in the race. Finished 2nd, 1:58. My new PR (for that time), powered by gas propulsion

Found these. Some of the shows I've never seen at all. Yeah how much time did one get back in those days to watch tv with the parents yelling; homework!? You see them as an adult and they seem so cheesy, but damn, they were the coolest thing back then. I think the only ones I don't remember are the 3 international ones at the beginning of the first video. Some I only vaguely remember, but ones like Man From Atlantis, Holmes and Yo Yo, Incredible Hulk, Wonder Woman, 6 Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman, ISIS, Shazam...etc...I remember quite well. I didn't get into Dr. Who until Tom Baker showed up, when he left I stopped watching it until David Tenant and Matt Smith were the Dr...There was another show...The Misfits of Science I think it was called and another one that was only a pilot, it never ended up becoming a series, it was called The Pheonix. I think the 70's and 80's shows had more charm than what's out there now, even if the shows were cheesy.

I had a Bionic Woman doll, and a jumpsuit to match, when I was four. I can remember wearing the suit to pre-school thinking I was so cool

And then there was the Sunshine Family ...Baby Love Light (her eyes lit up when yoy squeezed her hand) and of course Mrs Beasley : replica of the doll on Family Affair.

I had no dolls. Just plushies. With very inventive names. I once knit a plushie - a teddy bear. It was blue. And then it died.
Well, I gave it to my doggo. She loved it so much the limbs flew off when she shaked it to death. Had to be resurrected multiple times by my mother, so I could toss it again and again and cry "Fiend!" or "Cat! Get it!".

Why should the idea of grandparent/grandparents getting frisky be considered a gross-out? Pfft... but then...I guess when it's YOUR grandparents your thinking of, I suppose it would be a cringy image. I don't think the young want to imagine that kind of thing...

I can't go to the shops with out a list of things to get. Even if its 3 items I will forget one 70% of the time because I got distracted. And I'm not even 40 yet. I look for my glasses (on my head), or my phone (in my hand sometimes) at a number of times I'm not going to admit to.

I still have problems remembering stuff, but I generated a system I use, like things go to proper places always and such

I still have problems remembering stuff, but I generated a system I use, like things go to proper places always and such I think my biggest problems are words, putting sentences together can be tedious at times, especially if I have a lot to say and I can only focus on one point, meanwhile there are things I wanna add but it involves another subject and my brain won't let me go there. I once spent 3 days trying to remember the word dresser...3 frickin' days trying to remember a word I had known most of my life. Names are another thing I can have trouble with and remembering landmarks when I'm in an area I don't know too well. Sometimes I'll forget what I'm doing too. Ugh, I know Alzheimers runs in my family, but I also have had 5 concussions, so I don't know if it's age or past brain injury that's causing these issues...but I'm leaning more towards it being how many times I've banged my head. *sigh*
