I've always played DAO, Awakening and DA2 on PS3, but have recently switched to XBox360, since I got rid of my PS3. According to the old "registered content" site, I'm entitled to have all of my DLC be equally accessible on both consoles.
Has anyone had recent experience with this? It will specifically be an issue for me with DA2. Will I be able to download Sebastian Vael and all of my other DLC, once I've connected to my EA/Origins account?
I'll be rather pissed if they expect me to invest an extra $30 or so repurchasing all the DLC I've already owned for years.

I wish I knew the answer. I'm used to it not being transferable, and I just bought DA2 again for pc (it was on sale so cheap) and then all the extras. For your sake (and wallet), I hope it does transfer. I tried finding an answer online but have gotten mixed messages with no one saying for sure one way or the other.

I could ask the ME3MP crowd, while waiting for an answer here. Many of them ended up buying the game on multiple systems. Someone has to have tried downloading the SP DLC cross-platform. I can't recall whether any of that DLC is cross-platform registered, though, now that I say that. I'd check before wasting a post. I know some of it is.
I think this is precisely what the "registered content" feature is supposed to do, but I'm really iffy as to whether it will work. I repurchased all of the games, so I'm going to put it to the test. Worst case, I can always call EA Support. They are far more helpful than their online rep suggests.

For your sake (and wallet), I hope it does transfer. I tried finding an answer online but have gotten mixed messages with no one saying for sure one way or the other. It turns out I was remembering the "Registered Content" page incorrectly. Imagine that. The cross-platform DLC access did seem a bit unrealistic, as I gave it thought. Why would each vendor host DLC for which they'd potentially never receive revenue? Not too logical, once I gave it thought. This must've been my initial, illogical understanding of the registration process long ago, one I never corrected. I have repurchased my DA2 DLC. It's not too bad a cost, I guess, considering I get all of the DAO DLC "free" this time. The bundle is a tremendous value, so I'll chalk it up to the cost of continued gaming in Thedas.
