I think the BSN could use such a section. A dedicated subforum to discuss bug fixes, guides, walkthroughs and general tips would help centralize that kind of information.

Well there is a stickied post in this particular section regarding bugs for the site. Are you talking game specific like DA/ME/classic BioWare?

A lot of people (me included) only started going to BSN Prime regurlarly after first going there for help with a bug or other kind of problem. And I'm sure there is a lot of knowledge hidden in the brains of the members here about things like getting the older games to work on new tech. Getting the last fight in the Warden's Keep dlc to trigger by putting vsync on wasn't the first obvious solution to me. And if googlesearches for problems leads people here for answers that could lead to more members as well.

Like listing issues c_cat was mentioning for the Warden's Keep DLC for a DA:O/DA:A section. The little spot on the bridge in ME3 where you can get stuck in the ME section. That sort of thing. @c_cat. I don't rant much, but if there is one thing I've actually grown to hate about BioWare games, it's the damn DLC issues that most of their games have.

@ Natashina. Oh yes, Bioware DLC. My first post on the old BSN was trying to find out why I couldn't play the DLC included in my DAO Ultimate Edition. That wasn't fixed until the 1.05 patch several months later. And every playthrough of ME2 is a challenge, Lair of the Shadow Broker and the Kasumi DLC especially.

I think I see what you're saying.
In general, for multiplayer, bug help has been directly in the forum itself, rather than separated. There are probably a few reasons why that makes more sense for the multiplayer elements of DAI and ME 3, not the least of which is that learning what works is as much a question of understanding kit building as it is an understanding of what power evolutions are bugged.
In single player, it might make more sense to have a dedicated "help" section, but it would probably also make sense to combine it with the mechanics sections for SP, since like in MP, there would be a lot of crossover as building kits often requires knowing which evolutions have quirky effects other than they way they are described in the tooltips.

It's a good question. I used to notice that even with 'support' sections, people would endlessly ask questions (whether due to a bug or their own ignorance) in 'general' anyway... I suggest we bump this question around MEA launch time so we can make a call then. A 'known issues' thread might be good. And we'll see how effective BioWare support is on Twitter...
