{Balance} Anyone about ready to shelf multiplayer?

Step back? NO.
Stop grinding? Yes.

I only play two to three games a day casually anyway.
I will still keep moving on with unlocking rare/ultra rare character. No reason to stay idle with in-game progress.

BTW, I play human adept.. and biotic powers don`t kill anything like you said. After I learned how to melee, things turned around though.

Being that you already start with one of the strongest characters in the multiplayer, being the Human Vanguard I'm not incentivized to keep playing until stuff gets buffed or enemies get nerfed so that things other than Vanguards and Vanquishers are viable.

I still play almost every day don't get me wrong but I'm not really hyped to play anymore, especially since the game is in dire need of a patch and I'm not even talking about Balance issues when I say that.

My one friend in particular hard crashes out of almost 100% of the games he tries to play, first day he tried the MP out he loved it but it took like 3 hours just for him to go from lvl 5 to 6 because he was constantly crashing and half the time he crashed it would be with like 10-15 seconds left on a gold extraction. If dues got paid in this game for sh** like that he's diffidently owed like half a million credits and enough XP to level a character from 1 to 15 easy.

Saddest part is that he doesn't even get mad anymore when it happens, that's how frequent the crashes are.

I logged  on to play around 30 minutes ago. Instead I ended up spending said 30 minutes looking at weapon stats and comparing them to me3 weapon stats. And then wondering why they buffed dps on snipers significantly but then nerfed the shit out of basically everything else. Guns like the vanquisher and valiant have similar dps values to the infamous hurricane and harrier (actually higher than harrier). People don't talk about the black widow in this game but technically it's damage has been buffed compared to it's me3 values.

Meanwhile every other gun has been brought down.  Hurricane does about 25% less dps than in 3 and is now out-dps'd by all the snipers above. Shotguns as a whole might as well not exist, piranha I hear is ok but has also been nerfed dps wise.  Assault rifles might as well not exist. Sones and revenant would have ok dps if they could hit with some degree of accuracy but unfortunately you'll miss so much that their raw dps doesn't matter.

Basically every automatic weapon, shotgun weapon or beam weapon that has some sort of similar version in me3 has been heavily nerfes. Only snipers and explosive weapons like falcon and scorpion retain similar numbers. 

I don't understand what they were thinking. Snipers were perfectly fine in me3 and black widow and javelin were some of the best guns in the game. they most certainly did not need a buff while everything else got nerfed. The DPS on guns like vanquisher is about double to triple  compared to the average AR and it has perfect accuracy while ar's spray all over the place. Dps on the Vanq x is close to 1200 while my equalizer x (2nd best automatic weapon in the game) has around 700 dps. I think the dps on multi shot snipers need to be brought down a bit while almost everything else needs to be brought up. The current state of balancing is so bad.

No, MEAMP is too good even in the current state. Bring me a Platinum-capable team that will record more videos with me in ME3MP and I'll play ME3MP. But it isn't making any fun with those Russian hackers and armies of lowbobs and leavers.

For a long time I didn't even dare to open ME3MP without my American friend joining. I don't have anything to do in ME3MP anymore, only seeking interesting new builds and making gameplays of them. In MEAMP I have lots of grinding to do. Nothing compares to the excitement when you unlock a new weapon that you wanted so badly... In ME3MP I have everything maxed and only aim to max my IV items to 256.

Nope. I play MP on the weeknights, and SP on the weekends. Can't care less if it's a pillow fight, and all I've got is that wee little decorative pillow my grandma used to stick the needles in.

Ahem... I mean, of course! ME3 never did such a thing... ever. Lol, promise, I am done posting. Just miss the game and wanna play, but wouldn't be able to till tomorrow prob.

Not just yet. I'm going to keep playing for now, purely for the sake of the ultra rare grind.

Nothing will be fixed or changed. This is the way the game is always going to be. Nothing will receive a buff, whether it's weapons, powers or power combos. Nothing is going to happen. There'll be new characters, new weapons and new maps in the future, and I look forward to those. But nothing is going to change as far as the balance is concerned. People need to come to terms with that to avoid more disappointment. I got over my initial shock and carried on playing, even though it sucks. Going forward, the only expectations I have for this game is more crappy dlc weapons and crappy dlc characters with horrible powers with 30 second recharge times, perhaps a few decent maps.

However, one thing I am very excited about is the discovery of a new missile glitch. I'm definitely holding out hope for that. It would make everything better.
