...hair movement.
It was just great, because then it didn't look like Hawke's hair was glued to his/her head.
Heck, a PS3 game like Dragon's Dogma not only allowed your character to have long hair but it also swayed right and left when you ran.
Technology's progress should make these things easier to do, but it apparently goes the other way around.

Yeah I loved seeing her hair flowing when she'd move her head. Even DAO hairstyles on Hawke moved. I remember when I met up with Nate in the Deep Roads, his hair was flowing lol and in DAI Sera's hair moves. It's not fair lol

DAI really screwed up hair big time. I don't know if they ran out of time or what, but instead of fixing it, then ended up just making several companions bald, and all.the others have short hair.
It seems strange when you see clothing moving in the wind hand having physics, but hair was just completely ignored.

Technology's progress should make these things easier to do, but it apparently goes the other way around. The Witcher 3 has mastered that and I THINK Mass Effect: Andromeda has hair movement.

I preferred the old hair styles as well. There seemed far more variety to me and they seemed more in keeping with the setting. Both men and women were able to have proper long hair without it flopping over their faces, whilst the short hair styles were far more attractive. We had a number of different hair styles with plaits and braids. Instead with DAI we had a number of variations on bald/buzz cut. To my mind a lot of the DAI hair styles would require modern styling and hair gel to stay in place. May be that is why they looked glued in place!

DAI hair being bad is a given but it's also vaguely annoying that two very different countries like Orlais and Ferelden had exactly the same hairstyles. I liked that DAO and DA2 had some very different styles, I doubt the devs meant for it to look like regional differences but I could pretend that it was.
All/most Orlesians should have had masks which covered their hair just to lessen the horror and help my immersion.

The Grand Duchess' hair was an abomination. I assume they gave her that style just because all the spinning in the dance would have made it noticeable that they lacked hair physics.

Even clothing texture and physics aren't great. It's all so rubbery.
Hopefully we'll see more TW3 quality next time since they won't be held back by last-gen.

Yeah, the hair was probably one of the few things I liked about DA2.

Actually, the thing I miss most from DA2 (besides Merrill) is the ability to trigger certain abilities when enemies are in a certain state.

I knew this place was missing a hair thread. Feels like home.

I find myself playing a Rogue Archer who can throw knives and become an assassin so I could use both a bow and daggers even if it's not quite the same.

Oh, that I don't care about. I hardly ever switched weapons. I think the only time when it was really beneficial was during the Archdemon fight.

I loved doing it with my warrior. Makes sense they can use a bow and arrow too. I'm not big on rogues but love archery!

I miss my combover and bad skin. My Hawke had the sickly complexion/combover and although hair is a big topic here i miss the bad complexions from dao and da2. Its harder bow to make less attractive people ( most examples in dai are bad makeup )
