Give it time. Its early days still, people are likely more focused on getting some successes under their belt and focused on unlocking gear.

I have yet to even attempt gold.  I have only done a handful of silver, but if I were to do gold, I would mostly likely do Infiltrator or Vanguard, and likely outlaw.  Shrugs, you got to start somewhere.

No I'm talking about the enemy drone which was the bane of platinum.

Apex gold gives us 47k with bonusses, while normal is 55k.

Most PUGs suffer the heaviest with Kett wave 6 Uploads cuz 'divide and conquer' thing obviously doesn't work for everyone. Some of the character builds are also just plain weaker on their own for this purpose. Given any other objective and many players can now pull through just fine.

Assassination seems to be the mode that has the least occurrence so far.

Outlaw and sandstorm for pug groups. This way if I have to I know I can carry. Random/ random if running with people I know

I remember when FBW/G/G was a constant thing in gold lobbies. It got to the point where I'd host my own random gold lobbies because it's so boring. Sure it was the easiest way(as Outlaws on Zero are now), but at that point I wasn't playing a video game. I was playing a waiting game to see how long I could go before getting bored of the same map, the same enemy, the same strategy.

U/U/G or U/U/P was the most fun and is what cause me to play ME3 MP for hundreds upon hundreds of hours. I don't know if I'll put in the same amount of hours in MEA MP but I can see the potential. Gonna stick with Unknown/Unknown and it's been fun for me(EXCEPT YOU, MR. BLINK FIEND! >:| )

It's a valid point...our group spent way too much time on Dagger farming.

I mostly don't host random/random because the lobby became a revolving door of leavers.

Also, 3-point hack vs kett tends to be cancer.

Also, I never want to run into remnant when playing asari duelist. Too many observers.

If they buff outlaws badly, before they fix the fucking sucky guns of wetnoodling enemies to death, I'm done with multiplayer - having to grind all characters to X before you can actually use them fully is a kick to the teeth.  Even if they just nerf melee (and thereby Vanguards), I'm done - melee doesn't truly work vs. Kett/Remnant, because annointed/2 mile sync/hovering laser party. 

Also, sync kills are cancer af, specially offhost. They should have made enemies overall "smarter, done away with the annoying dog grabs, and instead made small differing quick minigames out of potential sync kills instead. I like that the hydra doesn't auto kill either even if it grabs you, and if you were low, a heal can save ya.

Lastly have to mention, I feel like there's a wasted opportunity in not having melee weap choice, like the SP.

PS. Buff combos and powers in general - they do very little... My Vanguards charge/nova does little, and are basically i-frame skills & potential stagger more than anything.

PPS. We need krogan pimp slap back, and maybe variety in melee attacks.

PPPS. As a sidenote, even though I hated ME3 sync kills, I found the enemies far more iconic and memorable. :/
