Kind of embarrassed to say this, but.... Romance DLC (Especially some more Vetra) Story DLC for sure. No need for embarrassment, it's an important part of the game, for many people. Every romance outside of Jaal, Cora, and Peebee could use massive improvements. I don't expect any of that to happen (there's no precedent for it), but anything is possible. I'd just like some quality story DLC so BioWare can redeem itself in the eyes of the gaming media and silence all of the haters.

I already finished my first walkthrough, I must say that Bioware left several plots unaddressed. I am aware that was intentional but hope that they reveal more story/plots in future dlc.

A push in the story would be good. I already finished my first walkthrough, I must say that Bioware left several plots unaddressed. I am aware that was intentional but hope that they reveal more story/plots in future dlc. Either some of these subplots will be addressed in the DLC, or we better see an MEA 2 in less than five years. I don't think I can wait half a decade just to receive some more questions and less answers.

I'd be inclined to say story based DLC, but I'm always wary of saying it should move the main plot forward because it ultimately risks making the main story of the base game feel incomplete without the additional DLC.
and I don't like the idea of paying extra to get the full ending.
I'd rather see something like Lair of the Shadow Broker which is story heavy but isn't necessarily about the main story.

Awakening moved the main plot forward of DAO, but didn't compromise the integrity of the main story. Irrespective of that, BioWare has a history of doing DLC that moves the main plot forward: Awakening, Legacy, Arrival, Trespasser. As long as the DLC is good and adds to the experience, I'm more than happy to pay money for it. I never felt that DAO, DAII, ME2, or DAI were ever incomplete.

I am confident that they will deliver when it comes to post launch dlc. Post launch dlc is something bioware has generally done very well going as far back as ME2.

Mostly story focused for the dlc would be great. I would it to bring us to new open world map but not rely on it. The rest of the content can be new side missions to do on that map as well fill in the old maps with content.
A duality in a way but some of the story content takes place on the open world and the content is engaging enough that we won't get side tracked by the side content. The side content is there to do separately after you finish the dlc or at point in the dlc story where there is a bit of down time.

And as much as I do love the hybrid approach MEA has with open world and linear levels, the linear levels like the Peebee's loyalty mission with volcanos only make me wish I could go back there to explore. It's like, I just played all the way to this point and this amazing level is over in 30 minutes.
And where in something linear like uncharted 4, I don't mind just replaying that level off an old save because there is not RPG character profession. I want to revisit specific areas with my most current progression

I think it'd be cool to maybe have a mission where the other Pathfinders become temp squad mates. I think having a temporary Pathfinder's only team up would be a lot of fun. I always thought it was pretty neat seeing all the Pathfinders together and strategizing about what to do. I'd be up for that.

My point was that's not the kind of thing you'd generally see in DLC, not with a BioWare game anyway. Anything is possible, of course, but I just wouldn't expect those kind of systems to make their way into DLC. BioWare is fairly consistent in the types of DLC they do since DAO. I'm certainly all for a challenge (I only play Mass Effect games on Insanity and Andromeda was no different), but most folks here are likely more interested in the characters, story, and choices.

However, if they went the direction of multiple separate DLCs, then story likely wouldn't be a major focus in most of them.
