BSN is funny place.I had over 3K posts on the old place,posted mostly in MP section,but almost never seen my name in that thread "Those BSNers...,but when I ran with my undercover I_m_not_BSNer name,it was popping like crazy.

Reload cancel is a part of a lot of modern shooters now. The loss of this just lowers the ceiling of top level play, which is a fun way to add legs to the game.

You do realize that Gears of War Active Reload is "pressing a button to reload cancel", right?

I love sniping back in ME3 MP even the regular reload speed is faster then in MEA MP its frustrating to say the least. I did some testing with the Vanquisher 3 a weapon i never used before was using the Widow 9. And boy...i ended up first all gold medals thing is you can kill up to 3 or 4 mooks with one clip its ridiculous pumping lots of DPS in short amount of time. So i went back to the Widow 9 and ended up last the whole team used Vanquishers literally of which one of them was an female infiltrator the rest was non infiltrators...this is not about scores but shows you the lack of treat from single shot snipers.

By the time you reload which takes a god damn LONG time with the Widow the Vanquisher already killed 3 to 4 mooks how is that balanced?
In a objective like upload i could hardly reload since everything interrupts your reload sure i could fire once in a while but ending up using energy drain and grenades plus wasting pretty much all my ammo packs...

After you get revived from a infiltrator interesting notion because sometimes you get a cloak from the revive i reload BUT there is no audio cue and i aim...but no damn bullet so reload again painfully cuz you get interrupted again...

Its a SHITTY mechanic solution would be for single shot snipers cut the damn reload speed by half or a percentage that is noticeable faster by a fair/large margin and without the gimmicky interruptions.

As of yet i hardly see any one using single shot snipers and i know why this is not because they suck its because the reload speed is bad.

It's been over seven years since ME2 and some people still think reload cancelling is an "unintended feature". 

Yeah reload cancelling was intentionally put in ME3 and a developer even commented about it, saying that she didn't understand why they would put this in the game but the other team members insisted. Later she understood why.

The widow has about a 2.5 second reload in ME3 with a RC and the widow has a 4.2 second reload in ME:A. It wasn't necessary to reload cancel in ME3, but it really is in ME:A with all the rushing melee enemies. My argument is that there are more enemies now and a lot more enemies that rush you, so either we need to be able to reload cancel or the reload needs to be reduced. Probably won't happen though, bioware never changed the utility stats like reload, accuracy and recoil of weapons and only changed the damage levels.
