I'll preface this by noting that I remain (after some recent scientific testing) a massively, stupendously bad sniper...

But I am of the opinion that we should all refrain from even speaking the words "nerf" and "Vanquisher" in the same sentence. Why? Because it frames the problem incorrectly (framing? Google the phrase "death tax"...).

Even though, IMNSHO, the 'gun balance' issue is minuscule when compared to the power/combo issue, the Vanquisher needs to be understood not as 'OP'/'broken' but rather as one gun working (close to) correctly in a sea of weapons that just aren't. If we start calling for nerfs to the 2-3 weapons that excel, we might just get them...and the devs will think they've given us something we want. Our concerns and complaints about the problems with MP need to be a) PRECISE and properly framed, if we have any hope of translating our communal bitching into actionable intelligence for the powers that be.

You're right. Didn't think of that. I was using the asari adept. With a soldier it will still be a ohk.

No? I used it a few hours a go. The damage buff makes it somewhat decent now.

on bronze it does, starts to suck on silver already
