My secondary Xbox account was banned from sending messages for 14 days as yes I trash talked on Gears of War 4.
Besides the point though, is now the Apex HQ App will not work if you are banned from party chat etc on Xbox Live.
It states on the app itself that your Xbox Privacy settings are enabled and the app will not work with these settings enabled.
So if you do happen to get bad feedback from hatemail etc....You will NOT be able to send your strike teams via the app, as it blocks you from using it.

How is that a Feature?
Sending strike teams via an app has NOTHING to do w party features.
As it states specifically the app cannot function due to your Xbox Privacy settings, that are changed for that account due to the party chat ban.

Maybe not being an asshole to other players would have helped. Like most people have never sent hatemail to someone on XBL... Especially when connected to foreigners region hopping on Gears MP. It's the worst. Still, no reason for a PHONE APP to NOT work, because I can't use chat? Kind of nonsense is that? |

I had that issue too but that was because my game wasn't patched (I guess)
Once I turned my Xbox on and downloaded the patch it worked fine.
You sure it's a ban issue?
