Mass Effect 3 Characters vs. Mass Effect Andromeda Characters

I'd maybe take the Angara insurgent over volus engineer or talon merc, he has a lot better survivability. I'm not sure though, volus engineer had a pretty neat kit. As for any of the other characters, no. The characters overal really suck compared to the classes in me3 and I don't enjoy many of them. The krogan merc and insurgent are allright, infiltrators are good but not that fun. Overall there aren't many character with fun unique playstyles in this. It's all very similar gameplay.

Well actually I'd take the current version of salarian infiltrator over the old one if proxy mine was in this game and had a 15 second cooldown instead of stickies. But if we're talking the old one who could spam proxy mines then I'd take him over the new version 100%.

I can't think of one tbh.

But I would probably trade all the characters in the game for a Quarian Infiltrator and a Javelin that can reload cancel.

Why would I was to replace any ME3 character with these inferior Andromeda characters?!I know I cant be the only one thinking this.

what about asari adept? she had warp throw n stasis for phantoms but my gawd the AA in MEA is a f***ing wrecking ball.

I can't think of any. I would take the Salarian Infiltrator, Salarian Engineer, and Geth Infiltrator over the MEA classes though.

Yeah, setting off chains of biotic explosions, debuffing, pistol whipping and Asarigasms all wrapped in skin tight leather and buckles is sooo boring compared to punching something in the face.

Not a chance. If there was a battle between ME3 characters VS andromeda characters, ME3 would win it by a 1000 light years. Just the asri adept would boom boom andromeda characters into oblivion. I would trade all andromeda characters for just the turian ghost infiltrator and PB rifle.

With your examples:

ME3 Human Engineer vs. MEA Human Engineer? No. Human Engineer was a beast at stripping shields/barriers, had drone for making boss enemies derp out next to it and Incinerate if spec'd right or paired up with a Cryo Blast partner was insane. MEA human engineer has cryo beam traps which are nice but pale in comparison.

ME3 Krogan Vanguard with MEA Krogan Vanguard? God no. ME3's was infinitely better and unkillable if you avoided sync kills. That and you could headbutt/arm slap/gun shoot combo to obliterate literally anything. In fact I made a video a long time ago(480p quality and didn't have OBS or bought Bandicam at the time cause I'm a scrub) showing how on gold, with a melee mod on weapon and a melee gear only, how Kroguard was just tons of fun, especially against geth because no sync kills :>



ME3 Geth Trooper vs. MEA Krogan Mercenary? Again, no. Trooper's Flamethrower annihilated armor, in fact with just a tech damage gear and a power damage mod on a pistol or SMG, it would RIP armor a new one. Also had Fortification so it could be stupidly tanky. I didn't have to melee on him either, and he was a very safe pick for most situations.

ME3 Volus Engineer with MEA Angara Insurgent? No. The Insurgent is neat but the Volus(especially the Engineer) did really well if played right. Recon Mine, Proximity Mine and Shield Boost + melee to go stealth was crazy good so long as you avoided getting shot at. Honestly any kit with Recon Mine was crazy strong, especially the Drell Infiltrator. Could use cloak damage on it to get easy killstreaks.

ME3 N7 Shadow vs. MEA Angara Avenger? Not sure, can't comment cause I don't have the Avenger, and tbh I didn't really like the Shadow. If I wanted to play melee, it was safer as a krogan or batarian(especially soldier/vanguard) for me. If I wanted an Inf, I'd sport Drellinf, TGI or Quarian Female/Male.

None of the kits in MEA really stand out imo except the Asari Adept. It's no N7 Fury but the melee and tankiness of it feels nice.

Honestly the only 2 kits I didn't like were the Vorcha Hunter Engineer and the Turian Saboteur Engineer. Vorcha Soldier/Sentinel was just better, same for Turian Havoc Soldier and TGI respectively.

I'd still rather have the old AA.

It is a possibility that the destroyer could make a few of the guns in this game actually usable. At this point just bring the guns over too. It's what they were going for.
