Been messing around more on my human male soldier with turbocharge and the Revenant I(hoo boy it'll be a while till it gets better), and I noticed that it feels like I just do more damage if I ignore weak points/heads, especially on Fiends/Hydras, etc. I unloaded into an Anointed with Turbocharge and killed his shields and his health in about 3-4 seconds(only had incendiary ammo I on) and it felt like I was actually doing damage compared to his health not budging if I was aiming for his head.
This is mostly a question for full auto weapons(unfortunately most are kinda bleh but just wondering).

You won't have a say in the matter most of the time. Your headshots will probably register as bodyshots anyway, but do keep trying.

It's best to just punch shit in the face, imo.

Yeah, just aim for the center to get most of your shots in or punch them. Even after the patch weak point hits still do not register off host. I read somewhere that ME3 had client side hit detection, but ME:A has host side.

half the time weak point hits don't register at all if you aim for center mass theres a good chance you will hit the shoulder joints (weak points) or the neck(weak points) or the hips (weak points)
I was shooting the revenant the other day and got weakpoints silver badge as limbs were flying off mooks from centre mass aiming.... which honestly made zero sense other than the game was super laggy....
bioware needs ot add in client side hit detection as well, I literally killed something only for the host to lag over to me it warp in time and space back to life and kill me then I bled out while the host stood over my body failing to kill the damn thing for half a minute ...
but I think that was a case of someone playing with the game on their end as well, several times ive noticed the score board beign edited during the match and the top scorers loosing half their points.
hell I was in a match where I had over 20k points after wave 5, at the end of the game the host who scored a whopping 8k was in first place and my level 3 toon didn't even gain enough xp to move up to level 4 ......

I just aim for the chest since when I aim on the head the bullets the do hit don't register as headshots and then all the other bullets just go above and around the head.

I haven't had problems hitting head shots when playing off-host as long as the host is from my own region. When playing with people from other regions it kinda sucks though. When playing on Euro-hosts pretty much nothing works except for big-ass AOE powers.

If you are off-host count yourself lucky if your shots do damage.

I'm not really a good enough shot to line up head shots. That said I got a head shot on a Raider's elbow yesterday. Maybe I hit the funny bone? ?_?

This issue in particular is a complete fucking joke. By FAR the biggest reason that kept me from enjoying anything else than my own hosted games. Not playing anymore until they fix this, and a bunch of other stuff.

The main issues for me right now are weapon imbalance and this shit. Closely related issues. Not a big fan of sniping or scopes to begin with, but I'd like for it to actually work since I'm almost forced to use sniper rifles to be effective with a non-melee kit.
I'm trying and, usually, failing to enjoy the game with things as they are. It's broken, and all the patch did was demonstrate how clueless they are.
