Who decided it is not working as intended? In singleplayer you can equip two different ammunition types and it will show ok. Why suddenly in multiplayer i can not? Maybe just the display of selection screen is bugged? Even in real life i can use different ammo, eg add tracers... And just do not start preaching about damadge calculation - we are players, not the developers. It is not mine concern. Bioware can not bann for this, or they will certainly loose in court.

Two ~5% bonuses to weapon damage equals double damage?

Because guns seem to be slightly underpowered without this glitch and presumably way overpowered with it. So I am going to just avoid boosters and this issue (and I will also avoid Kett, since you need good ranged guns to deal with Kett). Still makes no sense. If they fix the glitch, guns will still be underpowered. Why would you use them then and not now?

Fixing the glitch does not make it impossible to change gun damage, since that can be done serverside without a patch. I didn't say it was. He indicated he would play vanguards until the glitch was fixed. He didn't say anything about buffing weapons. That's what makes his statement odd.

If they fix the glitch, guns will still be underpowered. Why would you use them then and not now? First: most statements about the future (including your "... guns will still be underpowered ...") are guesswork and quite possibly will turn out to be not completely true. Second: even if bioware does not engage in playtesting, and does not collect statistics on how people play and does not address gun balance issues, I expect that I will be opening packs, and so *my* guns will probably be slightly better in the future than they are now. Third: but all of this ignores how I feel about playing. I have tried to say some things about that, but I am not convinced that how I express such things conveys any relevant meaning to you. Still... restated: I would feel stressed using guns, and I prefer to play this way. Once the issue which induces my internal conflict is addressed, I expect that this would not be such an issue.

So, which pack wields the most low level Ammo? 2k or 5k ones?

I tried this for the first time just now using Talon IV. It was very first time I had fun using gun in MEAMP. 2 headshot killed most unprotected enemies and did decent damage on others. This is not a bannable glitch, right? I just started to play Asari Adept.... and I must say she is quite amazing with or without this glitch.

i have a question though: how to get ammo type amp reliably?
I habe maxed out all commons and I only have a few of them, and probablybwould run out of stock in less than 10 runs.It also seems quite rare from opening packs.S o how?

I ran into this glitch last night in a PUG. 3 of us using vanquishers, fourth using Raptor. The Raptor guy kept topping the scoreboard which I thought was really odd as the Vanquisher is vastly superior to the Raptor. After the third match where the Raptor guy topped the scoreboard, he finally confessed on his headset how he was doing this, and suggested we all equip Raptors with dual ammo. The Gold enemies got absolutely shredded! However, as OP as that set up is, I totally agree with Malaclypse that this glitch is not really a sustainable practice. I have completed loads of Gold missions, hardly ever use my ammo consumables, and currently only have 7 of them!

I havent encountered pugs yet so far 'abusing' this glitch/exploit.
I do it a few times myself for fun, but not everytime.

I hope this gets patched in the very near future.
I tried using this exploit myself for several matches, just ridiculous. Even the under powered guns exploiting this still crush Gold.
The first two times I used it were on my Vanquisher V, another pug was also using the Vanquisher and double ammo, and the map was a pre set Outlaw / Zero. This was pretty much the most boring Gold game I have been involved in.
Also tried this exploit on my Talon III on my AA, yup, still ridiculous.
There is currently no difficulty in this game which can match this exploit. Hope it gets patched soon ...

I never jump on the "corporations are evil and are just out for your money" bandwagons. But if this is actually working as intended it would be the most bald-faced gratuitous P2W grab i've ever witnessed. It would be jaw dropping.
Edit: Nvm. Just tried it, doesnt work anymore.

Remember that is not totally free, you still need two consumables of the same type.. and they don't came easy

I'm not having that many problems with Gold that I need it, and I'd rather save the ammo consumables I have than blow through them all in a couple of evenings. As long as it's there though, potentially useful for getting challenges done with poor weapons.

Actually I kind of wonder how this exploit would work with the Naladen or Falcon, probably way over the top with huge aoe damage.

Let`s just be clear about one thing.
This exploit consumes two ammo consumables per match, right?
..then I don`t see any reason to patch this thing to be honest.
Let people have fun... and more importantly hope.

Makes the gun usable, even good, but certainly not gamebraking. My conclusion was that a straight 100% damage-buff for the falcon would not be too much, but we'll never see that unfortunately.

I'm surprised so many of you are willing to do this knowing full well bioware banned missile glitchers in ME3. I wouldn't be surprised if bans for abusing this glitch did happen. The crying posts here when that happens will be a good laugh I suppose. If I get banned for doing this, I'll just laugh for five minutes and then go play another video game. Bioware would probably be doing me a favor. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Yeah i found it on march 31st didnt post a vid for a few days Mass Effect Andromda Online booster glitch

Tweeted to Billy Buskell about it, will let you know if he responds. Two days later, no response yet, huh... Its pretty clear they don't give a damn. And if they don't care, why should we? This is nothing like the missile glitch. You have to have the consumables first. This trick would burn through boosters very quickly, since you only get 1 ammo booster at best in any given pack. The missile glitch could be done regardless of your inventory, and it could be done without using any boosters. Actually, why would you use boosters if you have missiles? Anyway, in order to really farm with this, you need to invest in enough packs to get those boosters. In a funny way, this actually might get more people to buy packs with money to get these boosters. Bioware will happily take their money. Also, unlike before, there is no real Bioware forum for this discussion. All we have is twitter to contact them. And if Bioware refuses to address this, then I don't see a problem. If the game was actually more balanced I'd be more aggravated, but in the pathetic state the game is in right now, quite frankly mam, I don't give a damn. And I think this might be the general attitude overall. I wonder if there is a connection to game crashes? Take a look at Bioware's solution for people experiencing game crashes: answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Crashing-to-desktop-what-trying-to-load-into-the-multiplayer/m-p/5981385#M7208It seems there is a serious problem with how this game handles equipment. One can crash your freakin' game, the other provides an exploit. Whatever.
