Watched Star Citizen stream where the streamer visited the new city with his fellow streamers. The journey took 12 minutes and there were a few crashes but he got there. The planet, the city looks immense and impressive from space. One of the party was already there and took a car out to meet them, then they took the train and went to the space port. He decided to play Blade Runner Blues and that added atmosphere as they went exploring. There're several districts in the city but not everything is available yet. The sight of the city through the windows of the train looks very good. At one point they CtD and each took out their own ships to get to the planet. These three are a scream to watch when they're together. The jokes and funny incidents just piled on. Two of the streamers shared one ship and it ran out of fuel in the atmosphere of the planet. The pilot ejected, the other remained and asked the third to rescue him. This is what happened. The streamer I was watching is the clip on the right.

So regretfullly its been a couple of days so this is going to be one of those 'what did you do this weekened' kind of posts.
Firstly I finished my second season of my Madden franchise I was running. 59-17 in the AFC Championship game against the Chargers and and 49-27 in the SUper Bowl against the Seahawks. Brady threw 5 TD passes and yet Robert Ryder won MVP with only 3 catches and two of those for TDs.
Secondly, after that...like promised...I switched to Ghost Recon Wildlands. And boy have I missed playing that game. As an aside I did mention to my fiancee I'd love it if it were local split screen co op that way me and her can play because she was even interested in it and I think it'd be just like old times. Anyways I ran one of my favorite missions in the entire game. Going after the chemist which is helping smuggle 'El Gato's' stuff out of the country. Beautiful site lines all down into a valley from a Mountain about 400-500 meters away. Sadly it took me three attempts. First attempt he was killed by an explosion from a car I shot, because he didn't run away after I shot his getaway vehicle, number two he ran to almost where I was so I tore off down the moutain...but there was a pickup truck down there which he got into and got away. Third attempt it was perhaps the most perfect op Idid..or at least one of them. I was able to snipe each and every perimeter guard WITHOUT missing and without raising an alarm so I was able to sneak up into his base without his knowing, flashbanged him, and then dragged him out. It was gorgeous. Other highlights was I was able to hit a target 500 plus meters away moving left to right...honestly I spent most of the day trying to 'site in' my BFG...honestly (no real surprise) the MSR seems to be the 'better' rifle in terms of accuracy. But yeah. I also noticed that it seems weird that the 'reinfocements' don't show up if you are in the base...which I just realized based on the dialogue makes a lot of sense.
Finished up with FO4 and did the Glowing Sea portion of it. Easier and quicker then I would've remembered...but then I also did one shot a Death Claw with 'the last minute'.

Uhm..been quite a bit since I wrote here...
After finishing Skyborn, cute, fun jrpg but way too short and undeveloped, I played some more God Eather, and passed at the second game (some "so bad is so good" time, because I really needed some slayng stuff).
I've now started on my own Uncharted 4, and is great! Plus the Crash minigame was a touch of class!

So still working my way through AC Odyssey after 111hrs and with a focus over the last few days on the story have progressed that to 57%. It has become the game that ate my life, I usually get 3 or 4 if I am lucky hours to play a game a day but I have been sneaking extra time by not doing house stuff. I am sure that is going to get called out soon!!!!!! So Kassandra has been roaming far and wide racking up 881km, reached Level 48 and has notched up almost 5000 kills. She had the pleasure yesterday of taking down the top ranked mercenary but was a bit pissed that she was still tier 2 instead of tier 1 as 3 other soon to be dead mercenaries slotted from 2 to 1. The game is quirky in that you can collect legendary sets of armour which one would expect would be the best gear but it is actually the second tier "Ëpic" that gives the best stats due to an extra perk slot. So at the moment Kassandra is rocking a mix and match of various gear as per below. I am so enjoying this game and looking forward to playing it again but I really want NG+ to come out first to save on the early grind. The voice acting is great with some really good scenes and Kassandra is certainly no shrinking violet.

Turns out Cullen's isn't the only voice that's everywhere in KoA. Admiral Han'Loghain has popped up quite often, as well as Captain Holtz (Angel-verse), aka the voice of Keith Szarabajka.

It amazes me how you pick VA's voices up in games, its never till someone tells me that I have an "Oh Yeah" moment.

I played ME trilogy probably 20 times before I recognized Han'Gerrel as Loghain's voice. I've seen Szarabajka credited in games quite often, usually under "other voices," but I've never been able to pick out his voice while playing. I guess the repetition is helping me out there!

Effing high level radscoorpion hunter! I'll get my revenge...later. I hit underground rank 30 in the division today. My PVE build is getting stronger with some modifications to enemmy armor damage and damage to elites. One thing I've misunderstoood of the game since my background is heavily influenced by Diablo is that lower tier mods can actually be better than higher tier ones. Specifically there are purple gear mods that give extra damage to elites but those don't come as gold gear mods. I shudder to think how many purple mods I have deconstructed without looking at them. From now on I have to look at every single one again until I have the ones I need to perfect the the damage output.

There are a couple of YTers who record all new vendor items, every Friday, that you may want to check out. That way you don't have to go around to every vendor yourself to see if there is anything worth buying.

This guy really is everywhere though, not just in Mass Effect (where he is also e.g. Gavin Archer, the evil brother from the Overlord DLC and also a bunch of other minor characters) but everywhere else as well. I just recently met him during my Diablo 3 playthrough as the blacksmith (I think Hedrick is his name).

Just a general question; should I get Spore on my computer? My computer has 170626 HD and the game requires 4,039 HD (and my computer crashes too..) should I get it or not? I got these off of steam btw.

Fallout 4. Jen's motto is "Killing is my business and business is good". That would make a cool title for a heavy metal album. Went to Lynnwoods and killed some raiders. Well only one, the rest of them were being torn to pieces by the deathclaws. Jen really did enjoy watching that before she turned the deathclaws into meat. Went to Longneck Lukowski's Cannery to see what was going on there. Heard some unsavory rumors about the meat there. Met some hot Vault 81 babe there. Cait backhanded Jen when she was going googly eyed with the Vault 81 trader. Had to kill that Mr. Collins, because ghoul meat is so gross. I ain't got time for your dumb ass. Well... what do we have here? You walked all of those stairs thinking you were escaping death? LOL. Wrong! Say hello to my little friend. I see you down there, synthetic abomination! Lot of those pics I am using the Avenger mini gun from a weapons mod. The way I have it modded it out, its very overkill. 756 damage. Its sounds just like the mini gun from the A-10 Warthog. I only use it when I don't want to screw around with anything. Otherwise I use my Barrett and take head shots to make the game interesting.

Turns out Cullen's isn't the only voice that's everywhere in KoA. Admiral Han'Loghain has popped up quite often, as well as Captain Holtz (Angel-verse), aka the voice of Keith Szarabajka. When I hear Loghain or Han’Garel, I think, “Kain!” Simon Templeman has one of the best voices I’ve ever heard. Loghain is pretty epic, so I don’t mind him too much in that role. Han’Gerel, though, is simply too uncool to be voiced by Kain. It really kills me when I hear his voice on myriad, lowly NPCs. I’m thinking, “Someone cast this dude as an arrogant, badass vampire demigod messiah, already! What’s the hold up?” For any unfortunates who missed the games I reference, Kain is the eponymous hero/villain/hero of the Legacy of Kain series. Simon as Kain, Michael Bell as Raziel and Tony Jay as The Elder God were delivering outrageously awesome VA before it really became a thing. (There are other great performances worth referencing in this series, but I’ll not rant too long.) There was nothing else like it, back in the day. That series is where Amy Hennig built the rep that allowed her to go to Naughty Dog and create Uncharted. I miss that series so damn much. Kain on his throne in the original PS’ Soul Reaver (1999). Such a badass.

Nice.
But I just can't help but think how heavy that thing would be (that much damage sounds about right, damn thing is a 30mm, firing DU API rounds with crazy penetration).
Here seen next to a VW Beetle:

Haven't had much chance to play lately but I managed to squeeze in my third session of Alien Isolation. -Now with the flamethrower I'm much less concerned with alerting the alien, but that doesn't mean I actively take measures to ensure that it remains oblivious to my presence. I am trying not to use the 'thrower on it too much as eventually it will learn that fire doesn't hurt it and will just keep on coming. To prevent that from happening I need to start training myself to avoid blasting it every time I see it. -The initial plan to off the alien failed and I had to work around a group of hostile survivors. Unfortunately one of them had a good view of the lobby and spotted me. When shots starting zipping around I ran for it and all the noise brought out the alien. It killed one of them, right in front of me, and then decided to ignore another one beside it and went right at me. I blasted it with the 'thrower and tried to just go when I realized I didn't get it right with the flames. It killed me just when I thought I was in the clear -The next area was dotted with security cameras that seriously hindered my progress and nearly got me killed on several occasions. I'd be waiting for the visible 'screen' for the camera to pass by when the Alien would either drop from a vent and spot me or just simply round the corner. This led me to using the 'thrower much more than I would've cared for. -I started working my way through some kind of shower area when the tracker went silent. As it turns out a vent was right above the door I just entered and the alien just got into position as I entered and scooped me up before its drool started going down the vent. It killed my rhythm and broke my concentration so much I had to set the controller down.
