Just found the KoA DLC on sale at Steam so added those today. Not that I really need anymore weapons or armor to lug around, but I also bought the weapon pack. Maybe it comes with a bigger backpack option?

Soooo.
Last night I did one of my favorite sequences in the game after I defended Greygarden. Also I got to a point where I have to decide between the Minutemen and the Railroad, I did not officially make the decision yet even though its a foregone conclusion for me. Also I went into the creepy arse FEV lab in the Institute to get the thing for Virgil.
But then onto the Raider fortress at Libertalia to go after the Synth. Its always a fun fight going through the boats and stuff this time with the Last Minute one shoting Raiders with a railgun essentially. The only real note here it is funny that the Synth 'reboots' even before you completley enter in the code. What is also interesting is it still works. It makes sense on the one hand but it dosen't make sense in another way...you think the Railroad would've found a way to get rid of it. But then the Raiders attack, which is also odd but makes sense...you'd think they'd drop their weapons or something at the magic woman who comes in and hypnotises their boss to sleep.

It's such a pretty game, how you finding Alexios? I am playing as Kassandra and am slightly concerned about doing an Alexios PT. I like playing as Alexios. I started as Kassandra but switched over. I think both VA's do a good job, each having their own area they do slightly better then the other at.

The onslaught global event in The Division has a commendation called "Boom and burn". You have to boom the mobs with a shotgun and ignite them with your onslaught incendiary ammo effect. So I decided to take the Showstopper out for run. In the DZ hunting landmarks. Bam! Wow! It has been a while but holy smokes! The showstoppers accuracy increases as you deplete the magazine. I have one of the healing talents on it as well for now. But the best thing now is that I hardly missed a single shot with and my Striker stacks maxed out early. And I could keeep them there indefinately almost in a way I'm not capable with Big Al for instance. So I boomed and they burned! No need for cover even. BOOM! Stagger and burn! Even elite and named went down really fast. I'm going to be clearing landmarks like crazy from now on.

Yeah that's right, I'm on the bandwagon now too: It's bloody marvellous. Kassandra is such a great character and really well voiced.

Fallout 4. Killed some deathclaws in the Nuka world area. One of them was a quantum deathclaw and the other was a named deathclaw. Did a one shot kill on the quantum deathclaw. It was moving so fast at me that I had to enter VATS to take it out. I forgo my usual head shot and aimed for the legs to slow it down, but one shot killed it. The named deathclaw took a little bit more to kill but it didn't get to me. Made the mistake of giving the Pack only one place in Nuka World, which is what I usually do with the sociopath Disciples. The Pack now have confrontational dialogs with Jen. Jen may wipe out all of the raiders when the time comes. The Pack had the nerve to ask a favor and take on a quest to retrieve some loot in the Commonwealth. That's fine, Jen just sat back and watched the Pack raiders get killed by the Minutemen and took the loot chest for herself. I bet that hurts. Come on little buddy, come get some! I don't have time for you. Nuka girl to the rescue! Shot in the mid section? No pain, no gain.

Assassins Creed Odyssey, it a great game and yes the protag's are very realistic looking and the environmental effects which are amazing even down to the insect sounds in the forests at night. Combat is also great. I have only played as Kassandra and her VA is great and gets better as the game goes on with some fantastic sarcastic and snarky delivery.

Finished vanilla KoA. Took me a while to figure out how to actually damage the final boss. I don't like Alyn Shir and really wanted the opportunity to kill her (maybe if I'd said I wouldn't promise to keep the secret?). Secretive Morrigan wannabees just aren't my type.
I didn't feel like I got the full story of the PCs past at all, and asking more wasn't really an option since she only spoke at set times. I mean, you couldn't even give a name for who the PC used to be? And who put together this secret group anyway? Who are they and who do they answer to? Ugh, so frustrating! I can see why people might want a second installment to get some answers.
Now I'm looking for the last of the lorestones before starting either of the DLCs. I managed to find them all on my own (well, with Detect Hidden help) except for the last one for autumn - searched online for the locations and now I have to re-visit a few dungeons to find the one I'm missing.
Overall, a decent game. Kinda long (not sure my hours in but 100 at least) and re-spawning enemies need to die. I liked that people react to the bad guy being defeated post game (well, except for the respawning enemy mooks who apparently didn't get the memo!). My biggest complaint still remains needing a bigger backpack. I managed to find 4 to buy, which increased my space from 70 to 110 slots. About half are taken up with potions of various types, and with tiny stacks of 10, they add up quickly. Thank goodness crafting supplies didn't count, though I was rather annoyed that quest items sometimes did.

So I officially think I have more or less hit the end game section for Fallout 4. I got to the "Battle of Bunker Hill" for my game. Alas I have the option of informing both the Brotherhood and the Railroad...which I am thinking of informing both of them to see how it will go. But I am struggling to find RP reasons for breaking off with the Institute/ Father (AKA Shaun) at this stage in the game. My character has been driven by two bits of modus operandi. First her desire to rebuild the world she left by building settlements with the minutemen she hopes the settlements will, one day, form its own government. Secondly was finding her son. Now while I have struggled with this character a lot finding the balance between her paragon leaning sentiments to rebuild the commonwealth with her rutless path she went about building said settlements. (also her wanting to get more caps every time she could), I think I was more successful then with Clint and as some people have argued Fallout 4 isn't always the best when it comes to roleplaying so this whole conversation might be moot, but it is an annoying connundrum so it might take me a couple of days before I advance to do it and then the end of the game. But I have time and a few other quests I hope to do first anyways. On the flip side this could be a bit more of a juicy problem to have but alas I would have to be more invested in my character/ the world to take full advantage of it then I am now.

Commonwealth once tried to form a provisional government between several settlements. Institute sent a Synth to slaughter all the leadership so that wouldn't happen.
Your character can easily learn from this mistake and remove the one threat to the new settlements.

True. But in KoA's case they're unbearable. I didn't word that right. I'm on the side of disliking respawns. Most games its annoying but F4 not so much. Seems like big open world games should have it otherwise it'll get boring.

I don't like Alyn Shir either and I don't know, why the game assumes, we are besties, because I hated her the first time, I saw her. I still haven't finished KoA, mostly because I don't have much time to play atm, due to me moving to a new home next week and am now packing.
But I did get three new games - really unexpected. I did get a new smartphone, but it had a crap akku so I managed to exchange it for another model with a better akku. The new one costs less than the one with teh bad akku, but the store couldn't give me the money back, because it was a good will change and so I choose some games for the rest of the amount, which are: Skyrim the new special edition with everything, MEA and Assassins Creed Syndicate. And as soon as I'm finished moving, I will try them, probably Skyrim first to see whats all the hype about

I just started playing XCOM, from 2012. I bought it many years ago, and it sat untouched in my Steam library until last week.
It's an amazing game. I love. I love it the way I love Crusader Kings II. It's brilliant.
And it reminds me how much I HATE action combat. Before XCOM, I tried playing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided from my Steam backlog, and I didn't even make it through the tutorial before I gave up in disgust.
Action combat is entirely unlike what I want from a game. XCOM's turn-based engagements are wonderful.

In regards to respawning enemies I generally hate it to. At least this playththrough for Fallout haven't noticed it as much. But then I am doing a lot of fast traveling.

This game is very, very good. I am hugely impressed by it, I actually prefer it to Shadow of the Tomb Raider. That game was good too, but this just has so much more life in it. There is a level of humour that was sorely lacking in SoTTR which it could have done with, and the climbing and movement is better in this on average - you are not constricted to set paths. Furthermore, Kassandra is just a more likeable character than Lara is at present - Lara is a good character but just not particularly likeable or fun to be with. Although, anyone know why I can't get Shadowplay to work in it?

Worked on some original wrestlers in WWE 2K19, close to finishing off all my returning originals from 2K18 also did a singles match against Finn Balor with one of originals to gauge how well it looked in game vs the character creation screens.

What bothers me most about FO3 is how raiders could spawn right outside Megaton.
Even if I can one-shot them easily, it's a complete chore trying to make sure that the NPCs in the area I want to keep alive don't suffer any damage in the crossfire. Eventually I stopped using the gate entirely and started using fast travel to get to and from Megaton.
Other than when they spawn near settlements and put NPCs or settlers at risk, I don't mind respawning enemies in Fallout games overall.

Some games its annoying but a game like Fallout 4 I find it acceptable. Otherwise that huge world would be empty to walk around after killing the raider scum and others.

The thing I remember about F3s respawn points is they crashed a lot with me. Some of those areas I would ignore entirely after visiting it once.
