Fallout 4. Went through a berserk stage in the game when Jen had enough of Jun Long going emo non stop. Jen killed him but the settlers didn't go hostile over that, must be they didn't mind his death either. They only went hostile when Jen got down and ate him. Found Marcy next and bludgeon her to death, she had it coming a long time ago. Pretty much destroyed Sanctuary Hills, then I reloaded the game and everything went back to normal. Back to normal game play. Joined up with the coursor and captured the raider leader who was really a synth. Did some boring settlement side quests. Vain Jen got a new scar, now she really doesn't like it when people stare. Totally awesome. There's a beauty to this, except someone overcooked the meat. What are you looking at? There's no scar on my face. If you keep looking at me, I'm going to rip your spleen out and eat it in front of you.

I've read around the interwebs a lot of criticism from man-children who feel threatened that having a girl in the game means that the nasty women are coming to take 'their' games away from them people that having women as fighters, or even the lead character, in AC:O is historically inaccurate and immersion breaking. Well, in answer to that, I have to say that YOU CAN RIDE A HISTORICALLY ACCURATE FUCKING UNICORN YOU TWATISH FUCKWITS SO GO STICK YOUR 'OOOH GIRLS IN THE GAME OH NOES!!!!' UP YOUR BLOODY ARSES. Twats. Love the glowy horn.

I like Kassandra better than Alexios as a playabe (although I have to admit, I only played him for a very short time). I only had one issue iwth her: They even have a loading screen text blurb of how women were not allowed to enter in the Olympic Games and how there were special separate games for women. There is even a side quest, where a woman isn't even allowed to watch the athletes. But Kassandra just gets in, it's not even mentioned as some sort of weird exception. I was fully expecting ehr to have to disguise herself as a man (which would have been difficult in the athlete's outfits, I grant you ) or something else, maybe something hilarious, since the game is not taking itself too seriously most of the time. But they did absolutely nothing and that was really weird and lazy. Adn yea, the unicorn was fun ... as an easter egg.

"Rest, prepare, cry in a corner. Whatever it is you do before a mission." Pretty spot on for my daily routine, hehe. But yeah. Altair continued his increasingly bloody mission to see the sights in Assassin's Creed. Had a funny moment where he ended up breaking his back during his leap of faith. Landed on top of the straw with a crack and Witcher 2 came to mind. Wrapped up Memory Block nr 3. Nothing really of note there, except I like the guy in Jerusalem, he's a sassy sue. And the one in Damascus is also funny. Also wrapped up Memory Block nr 4. The lunatics were not as bad as I remembered, but maybe I was in block 5 when I ended? Oh well. Damascus and Jerusalem were fun, Acre was a pain as always.
Did a spectacular splat when trying to finish the assassination in Acre. Like 10/10 face first in front of the gate. Was also going to do a cool throwing knife kill at the main target and the bugger laughed at me! And then it turned into a mosh pit. Good times.
Did half of Block nr 5. The Jerusalem part, once more, fun times. Then started Acre and decided to call it good after sight seeing at the tower by the boats. Because I got real tired of him drowning. Learn to swim >:C Or heck, just float. So hopefully going to give it another poke tomorrow and maybe finish the game? Or get sidetracked, that's always an option. But in general, fun times, good show.

I decided to try something a bit out of my comfort zone gameplay-wise: Deux Ex: GOTY Edition. I haven't yet started the game proper as I'm still messing about in the training module (yes, I suck). So far, the controls are terrible and I can't re-map the ones I would like to re-map to make them not quite so terrible. Seriously, who uses the keypad + key for quick save or the left bracket [ for zooming in with a gun? I'm not a big fan of FP but I think I might have better luck with guns (ranged weapons) vs melee weapons like in TES early games. Will have to see though. My other issue in this type of game is the limited resources that are usually available. Hopefully the easiest difficulty is actually easy and there's enough ammo, etc. lying around to be useful.

Thanks to Dazk, Phoray, and the posts of others, I decided to give ACO a try (gold edition was $20 off, I think) and I had doubts about my graphics card because it's just below what is suggested but it plays and looks good. Still, it'll play and look even better when I upgrade my computer which I might do after I finish the first game and before I start a new game. I've been waiting for something to force me to upgrade but at the moment I'm still able to hold off.

Well, other than being busy in Warframe ("Now go out there and void some muckin' warranties") with my queen, I have also picked up Dishonored 2, which I am broadcasting for a special audience of one while I'm playing. I'm going through the game as a rather merciful empress, except when I lose my patience and pull a bunch of Howlers into nearby electrified rails. Oops. Ahem. Right now I'm on my way to Kirin Jindosh's Clockwork Mansion. I expect it to be spectacular. Really enjoying the gameplay and setting. So much attention to detail, so many things to explore and discover. (and so many people to whack over the head and drag off) And Warhammer 40k: Mechanicus. My party consists of three tech-priests so far (Lexmechanic, Enginseer and Explorator), a bunch of Skitarii troops and a lone servitor, and they're putting the fear of the Omnissiah into the Necrons. While being a small indie title, the game nails the 40k atmosphere, and the conversations between Tech-Acquisitor Scaevola and Lector Dogmatis Videx are gold. "Always watch your brother, for his sin of heresy is your sin of tolerance."

I've been watching Darksiders 3. Damn, this game's graphic style is soooo for me. And it seems to be a nice challenge. Another game (next to AC:O) I have to buy once the price drops. Allods. I'm almost done with quest unlocking character reincarnations. Doubt I'll make one soon, but at least at the same time I farmed currency for new cosmetic armor. Also, winter event started and I plan to farm it for some sweet cosmetic items. But before that farm... WoW. I realised I have less than 24h of subscription and not enough gold to buy next month... Ups Time for some last minute farming. Now just to choose a movie I'm going to watch at the same time while I run in cycles.

1: You were being an asshole 2: I really, really dislike his voice acting. Kassandra is just far superior; this scene just underscores it
Look at the size of it (and that draw distance)! Now that feels like a city - well impressed.

Wrapped up the first Assassin's Creed. All in all I had fun, the story was interesting but the little knowledge missions did get a bit tedious. But granted some of it was because of me, since I did go around freeing all da ladies/old men and saw all the sights. So yeah. Some extra ponderings in the spoilers, no pictures. The Acre assassination in Memory Block 5 was interesting. The guy was kinda genius and if he had his boat a bit more out at sea, he would have been invincible. Since apparently nobody knows how to swim in the Holy Land. Granted there turned out to be a walkway a bit further, but let's ignore that. Did get spooked by a lunatic who went skipping to my boat, but then just sat on the brim, freaked out and fell in the water.
Was so happy that the 6th Memory Block did not take place in Acre. Also realized that the guy there was the same guy you were with in the beginning and his hand was missing. So his sass was actually well deserved. Also that final fight was quite something.
So was the finale. Kinda knew what was going to happen, not how and really enjoyed the final resolution. Even if the last fight was a meanie.
Either way, had one more tidbit in my mind about the game: When the guards find a body and go all "Who did this?!" the meme pops in my head. You know where they take a video and put a banner with "Who did this" and a crying/laughing emoji. Which made those events a bit more amusing than they should have been.
So since I already have infected my computer with Uplay, I decided I might as well continue on to Assassin Creed 2. Will give Uplay props for knowing what I meant with Assass 2, even if the final search seemed ignorant. You know what I mean, don't accuse me of waffling >:C Anyways. Did take a small while to get used to the faces. I think the older ones look better since they are more crisp, but the new ones are growing on me. I like Harding's sass and Ezio is such a charmer. Was also happy to find that the voices grew on me, since they irked me a little at first. And I can take screenshots now! But most of the ones I took were just of Ezio being hugged and having a funny face about it.... Ended up playing a bunch. I really like the Blending update, since it was always a pain to look for scholars and usually the guards spooked them before I could even try to blend so...Very nice. So far there hasn't been as much cause for murder in my sight seeing, but they are starting to tread on dangerous grounds. I will have my view, even if it must be heightened by a pile of busybodies bodies. So gameplay wise it was mostly sightseeing and enjoying the story. One Sequence 4 so far, so there is probably plenty left, which is good. So tl:dr Much fun was had seeing the sights and killing those who blocked my view.

Deus Ex I made it out of training and finally started the game. First mission and I learn I'm a cop? Uh, ok. My graphics settings are wacko so I made some adjustments to get actual color instead of weird green/purple stuff. Might make things easier to see too. I'm still in the first mission because sneaking around everywhere takes forever and I'm not good at wacking people from behind while crouching. I was supposed to meet up with someone to give me a key (I think) but I couldn't find him so I'm going on my own.

I eradicated the institute, with help from the brotherhood of steel. Hot damn that felt good. I think the brotherhood is a little sanctimonious, but I do like doing things with their help.
I'm thinking of restarting the game, creating a brand new character, and siding with the railroad this time. I'm kinda curious exactly how they handle the synth problem. And I do think its a problem btw. I will never condone replacing people with artificial creations. Parts of people, ofc. But never people as a whole.
So, in my book, the institute needs to die. No matter the side I pick, they die.

Yay, I completed my first mission (and died about 100 times ) then made it back to HQ for supplies and to meet the head honcho boss guy. Next I'll be briefed on mission no. 2.
Man, reading some of the news stories in this game - well, they sound like they could have been pulled from a recent RL newspaper.

Fallout 4. Finally returned to the Institute and a get a reward for capturing that renegade synth that thinks its a raider. Jen's son wants her to go Bunker Hill and capture some runaways from the Railroad. Jen has other plans. She'll exterminate those abominations and prior to this, inform the BoS on what is going on. Since we were at the Institute talked to Dr. Li about returning to the BoS where she is needed most. Also did Duty and Dishonor quest. Found one of the BoS members was feeding those ghoul abominations. Jen became judge, jury and executioner. Also exterminated all of the ghouls under Boston airport. Went to my main raider base and the BoS had to show up and attack. Jen order her men to take no prisoners, can't have them find out she's been using the BoS.
This is what we do to traitors. He tasted good to. These fools! Take none alive!

Finished the Battle of Bunker Hill quest and the aftermath of it. Jen killed her courser ally because it opened fire on her BoS pals who crashed the party. Exterminated all Railroad operatives who got in the way. Found the escaped synths and eliminated them. Jen met her "son" on the roof of MIT and then followed him back to the Institute. I'm on my way to a very special engagement. I don't have time for your turn coat asses. You, moron. I can't have you open fire on my BoS tools! Guess how this ends. Mother and son reunion, how cute. That's all? Just an experiment?! You could hearted... *I'm going to destroy the Institute and everyone involved. Everyone.* Don't you raise your voice to me! It's not my fault the synths didn't make it out of Bunker Hill. Mommy dearest reporting for duty. {End sarcasm} You're dying? WTF?? And you have nothing to say about your cancer? Don't care how I feel about it? Don't want to talk about it? Just go on about the current stupid mission? Fallout 4 really dropped the ball on the main quest. Find your son and all of that jazz and he is as distant, cold, uncaring as it gets. He's just like the machines he's created. No dialog about the years lost, his cancer, family, blah blah.

AC Odyssey Hit 63 and now on the last big island. I figure once I finish main story, Kass will definitely hit 70. Bow and fire damage has come to a point where I didn't bother to run around the conquest battle field any more. I just stood in one spot and headshot the opposition. The rest made a beeline for me, seeking death. I saw this single fellow standing on the barricade instead of in the midst of his fellows. He's stuck really. I tried to bumper car him off at the port, to no avail.

Played some more AC Odyssey and killed quite a few Cultists and Mercenaries in the last couple of days ( some were easy some were hard ) did also quite a few side quests and by time i had a lot of fun. Cleared out a few forts as well the fun part is if you stay hidden while you kill them of one by one. Because otherwise you have to run for your life literally haha. At least i am running because if 10 of those soldiers come at you with their shields up there is almost no chance of getting out of there alive. I have to say that this is my favorite Ability by far it is soooo much fun to kick a soldier of a cliff and see them flying through the air. I'm sure that Ubisoft watched this movie. 300 and if you'll haven't seen it yet you'll should. P.s at least i can wield a weapon again i don't know what kind of bug that was ... i still can't wield my favorite weapon though and that bugs me a little.

Fallout 4. Just finished doing Liberty Reprimed and Spoils of War for the BoS. And it looks like that'll be the last time I'll play Fallout 4 until the Fallout 4 Script Extender is updated. The moment I quit my game an update automatically downloaded. Hell on Earth.

Well I found this little exchange highly amusing. Ah she's just so good.
